FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A doorbell surveillance video captured the moment four armed robbers beat and stole from a man in the front yard of his Fayetteville home.
Fayetteville police said the armed robbery was over drugs.
“Hurry up,” one of the suspects can be heard saying as the foursome comes up to the house on Dalton Road.
“Open this door. Hurry up. Come up closer.”
“I’ll go get everything.”
The group had already stolen money that the victim had on him. When they got inside the home, his girlfriend and child were inside. Police believe they were after narcotics that were also inside.
“It doesn’t appear that this case is random at all. It appears the victim may have known the suspects,” said Officer Jeremy Strickland with the Fayetteville Police Department.
Police have not been able to identify any of the four suspects.
Report via MMA Junkie -- Frankie Edgar is a legend of the sport, a man who deserves to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame the moment he announces his retirement.
But Max Holloway is well on his way to becoming a legend, too, and added another big name to his already impressive resume at UFC 240.
The 37-year-old Edgar was tenacious, but Holloway (21-4 MMA, 17-4 UFC) was a bit faster, landed a bit harder, and earned a convincing victory in Saturday night’s main event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The judges’ scores were 50-45, 49-46 and 48-47 for a unanimous decision. With the victory, Holloway extended his UFC record featherweight win streak to 14.
“Everybody said I wasn’t going to be as good a wrestler as this guy, everyone said I couldn’t keep the pace, I wanted to prove a point and go five rounds with him,” Holloway said after the fight.
The opening round was close, as the competitors cast about looking to find their range. Edgar (23-7-1 MMA, 17-7-1 UFC) was more active with his volume, but Holloway landed the heavier shots, particularly a pair of big uppercuts which landed flush.
The pace stayed the same in the second, but Holloway got noticeably more comfortable, as he parried Edgar’s attempts to take him to the mat and often countered on the break. The champion punctuated his performance in the round by using a quick combo to mask a spinning back kick which landed in the closing seconds.
The third round was all Holloway minus an Edgar double-leg takedown late, which was his first takedown on seven attempts in the bout. Holloway scampered back to his feet and resumed control as the round ended.
In the championship rounds, Edgar valiantly pressed on, but while he chased Holloway, he never quite caught him, finishing 1-for-15 in takedown attempts. Holloway’s relentless jab opened a cut on Edgar’s nose as the champ got the job done.
“I expected everything he brought, man,” Edgar said. “Max is the best, he represents the sport great.”
The victory was Holloway’s ninth career decision win, as he rebounded from a loss to Dustin Poirier at lightweight in his last fight. Edgar has dropped two of his past three.
The featherweight title bout served as the UFC 240 main event at Rogers Place.

Via New York Post -- The terrifying moment when a piece of raw chicken appears to come back to life on a restaurant table has been caught on video.
Footage shows a plate of raw meat on a restaurant table, including a piece of chicken that begins to twitch.
After hoisting itself upward, the carcass yanks itself off the diner’s plate as a terrified onlooker can be heard screaming.
The footage was posted to Facebook by Florida woman Rie Phillips two weeks ago and has already been viewed more than 4 million times.
It’s unclear where it was taken, but chopsticks on a plate would suggest it was a Japanese, Chinese or Korean restaurant.
People posted comments suggesting the movements were caused by nerve endings that had not yet died.
One person said “usually because the meat is so fresh the muscles can still move,” while a second added, “it was so fresh that some of the muscles are still firing off signals.”
Others saw dark humor in it, with one saying: “Hell no if my food is walking, I’m walking too.”
Chickens have been known to survive and keep moving despite losing their heads — hence the term “headless chicken.” One in Thailand reportedly managed to survive for a week with only a bloodied stump where its head used to be.
Other raw meat has also previously been known to move of its own accord.
Footage taken in Guangzhou, southern China, shows a hunk of beef twitching furiously while hanging in a butcher shop.
Someone behind the camera can be heard gasping as the beef moves incessantly and can then be heard saying, “Enough.”

A decade after Zombieland became a hit film and a cult classic, the lead cast (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone) have reunited with director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and the original writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool) for Zombieland 2: Double Tap. In the sequel, written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.
