With his latest album Bottoms Up barely in stores, Obie Trice is bouncing right back with the Hangover mixtape.
DMX's Undisputed album has had a couple of different release dates, hopefully this new one sticks. Allhiphop is reporting that the album will be released on June 26 and will feature an appearance from late rapper Notorious B.I.G.
“X is very excited to release this project,” said DMX’s publicist, Domenick Nati. “This album has a lot of hits on it, and his fans will see that it’s been worth the wait. Undisputed will prove to the world that DMX is back!”
The video for Dark Man's single "I Don't Dance" featuring Machine Gun Kelly will be released later this month.

Dead Prez, Yasiin Bey and Mike Flo take Nas' "Made You Look" and flip it into a tribute to slain teenager Trayvon Martin.
As sad as it may be some people can't get over the fact that an African American is part owner of a major sports franchise in the year 2012. That fact was made very clear in an article by New York Post writer Phil Mushnick, who attacked Jay-Z in his "Equal Time" column printed Friday [April 4].
Jay-Z is a minority owner of the New Jersey Nets, who will become the Brooklyn Nets in 2013 when they leave Jersey for the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In the article Mushnick uses racist and misogynistic language to describe Jay-Z and the team.
"As long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call their marketing shots — what a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home — why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment?" Mushnick wrote. "Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N------s? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B----hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!"

Adam Yauch, one-third of the pioneering hip-hop group the Beastie Boys, has died at the age of 47, Rolling Stone has learned. Yauch, also known as MCA, had been in treatment for cancer since 2009. The rapper was diagnosed in 2009 after discovering a tumor in his salivary gland.
Yauch sat out the Beastie Boys' induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, and his treatments delayed the release of the group's most recent album, Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2. The Beastie Boys had not performed live since the summer of 2009, and Yauch's illness prevented the group from appearing in music videos for Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2.
Yauch co-founded the Beastie Boys with Mike "Mike D" Diamond and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horowitz in 1979. The band started off as a hardcore punk group, but soon began experimenting with hip-hop. The band broke big with their first proper album, Licensed to Ill, in 1986, and further albums Paul's Boutique, Check Your Head and Ill Communication cemented the band as a true superstar act.
In addition to his career with the Beastie Boys, Yauch was heavily involved in the movement to free Tibet and co-organized the Tibetan Freedom Concerts of the late Nineties. In 2002, he launched the film production company Oscilloscope Laboratories.

D'Angelo is set to make his return to the U.S. stage for the first time in ten years when he performs at the Essence Music Festival on Friday July 6 in New Orleans.
The reclusive singer made a comeback earlier this year when he played several European dates. He's expected to perform some of the biggest hits from his two studio albums Brown Sugar and Voodoo.
Other acts on the packed Essence bill include Trey Songz, Mary J. Blige, SWV, Luke James, Aretha Franklin, Melanie Fiona, Eve, Kevin Hart, Tank and many more.
The festival runs from Friday July 6 through Sunday July 8.

OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- The family of former NFL star Junior Seau will donate his brain for medical study into the impact of repetitive concussions on football players following his shock suicide.
San Diego Chargers chaplain Shawn Mitchell told the Los Angeles Times that the family decided to allow access to researchers investigating the long-term effects on head hits "to help other individuals down the road."
Seau, who played pro football for 20 seasons, was found dead by his girlfriend inside their home in Oceanside, near San Diego, on Wednesday, with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The 43-year-old's suicide echoed the death of ex-Chicago Bears safety Dave Duerson, who fatally shot himself in the chest, at age 50, 14 months ago.
After struggling with depression for many years, Duerson left a note for his family directing them to donate his brain to the Boston University School of Medicine for research into Chronic Traumatic Encephelopathy (CTE).
Researchers from the Boston school later ruled that Duerson suffered from a neurodegenerative disease linked to concussions, which was a factor in bringing on his depression.
Boston's Sports Legacy Institute was competing with the Brain Injury Research Institute (BIRI) for access to Seau's brain, Pro Football Talk reported.
Dr. Bennet Omalu -- the chief medical officer for San Joaquin County, who cofounded BIRI -- flew into San Diego to participate in Seau's autopsy, ESPN reported, citing sources.
Although Seau left no note, the San Diego Medical Examiner's Office announced Thursday afternoon that his death was classified as a suicide and said it was awaiting the family's decision "regarding study of the brain for repetitive injury by researchers outside of the office."
Mitchell confirmed the family's intentions Thursday night.
"The family was considering this almost from the beginning, but they didn't want to make any emotional decisions," he said. "And when they came to a joint decision that absolutely this was the best thing, it was a natural occurrence for the Seau family to go forward."
