As we previously reported, a lawsuit was filed recently against's Drake's management by James "Jas" Prince, the son of Rap-A-Lot Records owner, J. Prince.
Prince alleges in the suit that neither he or Drake have been paid royalties they are due. The lawsuit led to speculation that Drake was trying to get out of his YMCMB contract.
Yesterday Drizzy took to Twitter to let his 8.5 million followers know that he is still down with Young Money.
I guess that puts that speculation to rest.

For the second time in less than a month Mac Miller has been hit with a $10 million lawsuit for copyright infringement.
In July Lord Finesse filed a lawsuit against the Pittsburgh rapper, Datpiff and Rostrum Records for using his song “Hip 2 Da Game,” for Miller's “Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza,” track off of his Macadelic mixtape.
Yesterday Patrick Berlinquette, aka Warm Speakers, filed a lawsuit for the same amount against the same three parties according to HipHopDx. According the the lawsuit Miller sampled Berlinquette's song titled “The World Around You” and used it for a track titled "Fuck Em All" without first getting permission.
“[Miller] uses other people’s music because it’s easier, cheaper, and faster than creating his own,” reads the complaint. “Miller seeks to capitalize on the common misconception in Copyright Law that people whose music he takes have no remedy if he gives their music away for free.”
Berlinquette claims he was “irreparably harmed, suffered damage, and defendants have profited in an amount to be determined at trial.” He is suing for willful infringement; violation of Copyright Law and New York’s General Business Law; and is seeking a permanent injunction. He is also suing for damages and seeks to recoup "no event less than $10 million."

Beyoncé Knowles has donned many guises in her entertainment career -- musical superstar, fashion icon, actress (yeah, we'll even count her "Pink Panther" turn).
Now she's looking to add a rather different notch: documentary director.
Knowles and her representatives at agency ICM have in recent weeks been shopping a nonfiction film to Hollywood studios about the celebrity's life and career.
According to a person familiar with the package who was not authorized to talk about it publicly, the movie is as a mix of music and personal study, blending concert footage with confessional interview. Knowles not only stars in the project but is directing it, and will also serve as a producer. About 20 minutes of footage has been shown to distributors.
A representative at Knowles’ agency did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
Knowles certainly would have a lot to discuss in the doc. In the last 18 months, she's released a top-selling album ("4"), split from her longtime manager (her father), and had a baby, Blue Ivy Carter, with husband Jay-Z, among other noteworthy events.
Although she's attached to star in a potential remake of "A Star Is Born," Knowles also has had a taste of the nonfiction film life. In June 2011, MTV aired "Beyoncé: Year of 4,” a "mini-documentary" that showed the artist taking time off and then returning to the recording studio.
Feature documentaries about musical superstars have come into vogue of late with movies from Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus. Though not always blockbusters (Perry’s “Part of Me” has grossed just $24 million since coming out last month), they continue to be appealing to the entertainment industry: The stars like the exposure in a new medium, while studios appreciate the movies' built-in appeal and comparatively low cost.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. spokesman Bill Cassell said Mayweather's release date is Friday, but added, "historically, inmates can be processed out the night before."
While Floyd has been away, he's still been keeping his name relevant.
He and 50 have formed TMT Promotions and have signed several fighters already including Yuriorkis Gamboa, Billy Dib and Andre Dirrell. They are also rumored to be signing Zab Judah and Andre Berto.

One of hip hop's most memorable beefs has to be Jay-Z vs. Prodigy. In the end most hip hop heads would say that Jay won that battle.
In a new interview with AllHipHop, Havoc talks about the beef and what it meant to the group and whether it had a negative impact on Prodigy as an artist.
"I saw the difference, but at the time I didn't wanna believe it," Havoc said referring to the change in Prodigy after the Jay-Z beef died down. "From all angles everybody was coming down on P, but I was holding him down like, 'nah son still good.' I just felt like I had to step my game up."
Havoc says in his opinion the beef never should have happened in the first place.
"That should have been a beef that never shouldn't have took place," Hav continued. "Always in my eyes I always felt like that. But for the greater good I said, 'if that's what you wanna do go ahead and do it.' I'm more into forming alliances than trying to be out here starting beef with people."
Hav goes on to talk about still being close to members of the Infamous Mobb. He said they don't want to get into the middle of his beef with Prodigy.
