The beautiful and talented Ciara covers the March/April/May issue of Annex magazine. In the cover story she talks about some of her musical inspirations and her upcoming fifth studio album, One Woman Army.
Check out an excerpt from the interview below.
CIARA ON NEW ALBUM “ONE WOMAN ARMY”: I am approaching this record in a different way than I have any other project before. While recording “One Woman Army” I have been running towards my fears and allowing myself to be vulnerable in many ways; for the first time I allowed myself to be completely open in the music making process. I can honestly say this is the most fun that I’ve ever had making an album.CIARA ON INSPIRATIONS: I really love listening to artists like Lana Del Ray, Kendrick Lamar, Drake just to name a few. However, I continue to find inspiration from the generation of greats such as Michael Jackson, Prince and Madonna.
Brianna Perry delivers her new mixtape, Symphony No. 9: The Collection. Features on the project inclde T-Pain, Trey Songz, Pusha T, Ray J, Future, Teyana Taylor, Trina and more.

Azealia Banks has moved on from battling American artists for now, and has taken aim at a couple of British acts on Twitter.
First up on Azealia's hit list was the band, The Stone Roses.
The Stone Roses
The two acts were both performing at the Future Music Festival in Sydney, Australia on Saturday March 9th, when all hell broke loose. Azealia accused the headlining group of trying to ruin her set by sound checking while she was still onstage.
"My ex tour manager made a pact with the Stone Roses saying they'd sabotage my set because I fired him," Azealia wrote on the social networking site. "And they decided to check their equipment behind me during my set. Fuck those old saggy white n*ggas Stone Roses. I wish them nothing but excrement and death."
According to the 21-year old Harlem emcee, she and Stone Roses lead singer Ian Brown almost came to blows backstage.
Ian Brown
“I saw Ian Brown backstage before Prodigy's set and he charged at me. We LEGIT almost got into a fist fight.” She continues, “I'm more rock and roll than he is. I would've won.”
The band later reportedly apologized and Banks deleted her tweets about them.
She then set her sights on Jay-Z protege' Rita Ora.
Rita Ora
"Lol Rita Ora is so thirsty. She climbed over the wall of my dancers dressing room to snap photos. She's been TRYING IT on this tour man," Azealia wrote. "Ever since I arrived on this tour Rita's been going out of her way to try and intimidate me. Taking all these candids of me when I wasn't looking, then posting and deleting them like a weak bitch. Now I'm just taking the piss."
Azealia later wrote "Shut up Rita Oral," then posted a text she sent to the singer.
Banks has now Twitter beefed with Jim Jones, Kreayshawn, Iggy Azalea, Baauer, Perez Hilton, Angel Haze, Dominique Young Unique, T.I., Rita Ora, The Stone Roses, Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj.
That's gotta be some kind of record.
Information from Billboard and Complex was used in this report.

NEW YORK (AP) — Add another name to Bernard Hopkins' list of victims.
Hopkins became the oldest boxer to win a major title on Saturday night, scoring a 12-round unanimous decision over Tavoris Cloud to claim the IBF light heavyweight championship.
"It feels good. It feels real good," Hopkins said. "I'm going to Junior's (Restaurant and) I'm going to have cheesecake."
The 48-year-old Hopkins broke the record he set by beating Jean Pascal for the WBC light heavyweight title on May 21, 2011. When asked which fight meant more, Hopkins said "tonight was better. Because I'm older. (It's) more gratifying.
"Tonight was one of the bigger fights (in my career)."
And while he reveled in what he accomplished, he was looking toward the future. Hopkins, who was adamant that he will not fight past 50, laid a challenge at the feet of the 175-pound and 168-pound divisions.
"I'm motivated to do it," Hopkins said. "I don't believe anybody in the 175(-pound) weight class and possibly the 168(-pound) class can beat me."
Hopkins, fighting his 19th title bout, improved to 53-6-2 in the main event of an eight-fight card at the Barclays Center. The 30-year-old Cloud fell to 19-1.
"It was great to break (in) the Barclays Center with a (legendary) performance," Hopkins said.
With Hopkins forcing a patient, technical match, Cloud was unable to press the issue and Hopkins circled him, landing jabs to his face, eventually opening a cut above his left eye.
"I have to throw a lot of substance (into fights). I'm fighting old school in a new world. (I) have to learn to adapt to what (the judges) are looking for," Hopkins said. "We knew a 30-year-old guy was not going to run from a 48-year-old guy."
Hopkins connected on 169 of 417 punches. Cloud landed 139 of 650.
"I was only average tonight," Cloud said. "He hit me with an elbow but I'm not complaining. It is what it is."
