After getting arrested for the third time since May on Monday, Chief Keef has another warrant out for his arrest. This one is out of Miami Beach, Florida.

The rapper was celebrating his 17th birthday last August when the red Ferrari he was riding in was pulled over after it was reported to be stolen.

Police searched Keef, real name Keith Cozart, who admitted to having weed on him.

"I have weed in my right front pocket," said Keef, according to a police report. I want to be honest with you, officer."

Sosa was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He didn't face any charges for riding in the stolen car because it turns out there was a mix up between the rental company and previous owner of the vehicle, according to AllHipHop.

He was ordered to appear in court on January 23 for the weed charge. The problem is, he was already locked up in Chicago on that date for violating his probation from a previous gun charge.

A Florida judge issued a warrant for his arrest, but unless Keef travels to Miami Beach again he's unlikely to be arrested.

We would not travel to Chicago for this type of warrant,’’ Miami-Dade Police Detective Javier Baez told the Chicago Tribune.

Keef has been racking up a lot of time in police stations as of late.
On May 20th he was arrested in Dekalb County, Georgia for disorderly conduct after a security guard smelled weed coming from his hotel room. He was picked up again on May 27 for speeding in Northfield, Illinois.

On Monday, June 17 Keef appeared in a Chicago courtroom and pleaded guilty to the speeding charge. He was fined him $531, banned him from driving for 18 months, put him on probation for 18 months and ordered to perform 60 hours of community service and undergo random drug testing. He also must complete eight hours of traffic school.

As he left the courthouse he was arrested again on a trespassing charge.

Recording artists are increasingly starting to feel heat from various groups and critics about their song lyrics. Is it an attempt to censor what they say? Or are artists being careless and not clearly thinking through the ramifications some of their songs might have before they put them out?

The latest person catching flack for song lyrics is Robin Thicke. His song "Blurred Lines" has shot to the top of the charts and is getting heavy spins on radio stations across the country. At the same time there are a growing number of people who find the song offensive and it's lyrics "rapey."

12350176280?profile=original

Has anyone heard Robin Thicke's new rape song? Basically, the majority of the song…has the R&B singer murmuring ‘I know you want it’ over and over into a girl’s ear. Call me a cynic, but that phrase does not exactly encompass the notion of consent in sexual activity," Lisa Huynh of Feminist in LA wrote in April.

Thicke himself admits the song, which was originally accompanied by a video full of naked females degrades women.

People say, ‘Hey, do you think this is degrading to women?’ I'm like, ‘Of course it is. What a pleasure it is to degrade a woman," Thicke told GQ last month. "I've never gotten to do that before. I've always respected women.’ So we just wanted to turn it over on its head and make people go, ‘Women and their bodies are beautiful. Men are always gonna want to follow them around.’”

CNN's Erin Burnett had a panel of guests on her show recently to debate whether or not the song promoted rape.

Burnett and radio show host Stephanie Miller thought it did, while political comedian Dean Obeidallah and CNN contributor Reihan Salam came down on the other side of the fence.

Kanye West's new album Yeezus is being hailed by most critics as a great album and is expected to have good first week sales. But a line in one of it's songs has managed to anger some because of it's Parkinson's Disease reference.

The song in question is "On Sight." In it Yeezy raps, "A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this b*tch shaking like Parkinson's."

The line is being criticized by the American Parkinson Disease Association. The organization's Vice President Kathryn Whitford told TMZ the lyrics showed ignorance on Kanye's part.

"We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance," she said.

The APDA was founded 50 years ago and is the largest organization in the United States dedicated to  finding a cure for Parkinson's and helping those with the disease.

Kanye has yet to comment on the controversy.
