That is until the boys discover a bag full of pills in the back of a stolen car. Cisco’s entrepreneurial instincts take over, and in a flash their lives get better. But no one counted on having to come face to face with the cold, calculating, and notorious drug queenpin, “Momma,” who runs the toughest gang in town.
Director Steven Caple Jr. makes an auspicious debut with this atmospheric film filled with pitch-perfect performances by an ensemble cast, including newcomer Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Erykah Badu, Machine Gun Kelly, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Linda Emond, who is bone chilling as Momma. More than a crime drama, THE LAND is a beautifully rendered story about friendship, values, and what it means for disaffected youth to come of age on the streets of Cleveland.
It will be released on July 26 in movie theaters and VOD.

"Fall Back" is the latest audio release from Scottdale, Pennsylvania artist Izzy Strange and it's full of complex rhyme schemes, sing-song melodies and a superb guest verse from Living Legends great, Eligh. Listen as both emcees touch on the subject of conflict and our modern day fixation of technology and social media.The beat features a variety of drum patterns and surreal instrumentation as presented by the Netherfriends.
Izzy also contracts Nate Fox, who is mostly know for his work with Chance The Rapper's The Social Experiment collective, to mix the song. 50 Cent is the star of a new ad for Hostelworld, the world's leading hostel-focused online booking platform.
In the clip he gives viewers a tour of a hostel in Barcelona while hilariously spoofing MTV Cribs.
“We are so happy to have converted 50 Cent into a hosteller – he’s found the best way to live like a millionaire without having to part with crazy amounts of money in the process,” said Hostelworld chief marketing officer Otto Rosenberger. “We look forward to welcoming the rest of the world’s music elite at our hostels very soon.”
Cypress Hill emcee B-Real, Chuck D of Public Enemy and Rage Against the Machine members, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk have teamed up to form a supergroup called Prophets of Rage.
RATM and Public Enemy have always been known for the politically charged lyrics in their songs. Combined with B-Real, I can see no way how this newly formed band will bring anything other than music for the ages.
