Chris Brownemerged a big winner from a child custody court hearing with his baby's mom,Nia Guzman.
In September 2015, Brown was awarded joint legal and physical custody of his 2-year old daughter Royalty and 12 unmonitored visits a month. His monthly child support payments were set at $2,500.
Earlier this year Guzman sought to have that ruling amended. Chris was ordered at that time to give her $20,000 to pay for lawyers.
She requested full custody, drug tests and monitored visitation for Brown, as well as an order prohibiting his mother from seeing her granddaughter.
The judge in the case has denied all of those requests and ruled that Guzman isn't entitled to the $20,000 in attorney's fees the singer had given her.
According to TMZ, Brown was given credit for the money, which covers 8 months of child support.
Guzman also wanted her child support payments increased to $16,000 a month, but withdrew the request.
MILWAUKEE (AP) — City leaders pleaded for calm after violence erupted for several hours Saturday night on Milwaukee's north side following a man's fatal shooting by police earlier in the day, with the mayor imploring parents of anyone at the scene to "get them home right now" after at least four businesses burned and one officer was hurt.
At a news conference just after midnight, Mayor Tom Barrett said the situation appeared to be calming after a riotous scene in which as many as 100 protesters skirmished with police, torching a squad car and tossing a brick through the window of another. Police mounted at least two efforts to push the protesters out of an intersection at the heart of the violence.
The unrest began several hours after a man fleeing police after a traffic stop was shot and killed. Police said the man was armed, but it wasn't clear whether he was pointing the gun or aiming it at officers. Barrett said the man was hit twice, in the chest and arm. Neither his race nor the officer's was immediately released, nor were they identified.
The shooting was being investigated by the state. The officer was wearing a body camera, Barrett said.
At least three people were arrested in an uprising that Barrett said was driven by social media messages instructing people to congregate in the area.
"We have to have calm," Barrett said at the news conference. "There are a lot of really good people who live in this neighborhood."
Milwaukee Common Council President Ashanti Hamilton echoed Barrett's plea for help restoring order.
"We understand the frustration people feel with the police community nationally. ... We have to go through the process of finding justice, but we have to be able to restore order to these neighborhoods," Hamilton said. "Please participate in restoring order to these neighborhoods."
Barrett said the 23-year-old man who died was stopped by police for "suspicious activity." Police said earlier that he was carrying a gun that had been stolen in a March burglary in suburban Waukesha.
"This stop took place because two officers ... saw suspicious activity," Barrett said. "There were 23 rounds in that gun that that officer was staring at. I want to make sure we don't lose any police officers in this community, either."
Police with shields and helmets moved slowly into an intersection after 11 p.m., telling a crowd of about 50 people to disperse. Some threw rocks and other debris at police, who held up their shields. They also threw objects at a business a half-block from the intersection. A nearby traffic light was bent over and bus shelters overturned.
An earlier standoff involved more than 100 people pushing against 20 to 30 officers. Officers got in their cars to leave at one point and some in the crowd started smashing a squad car's windows. Another police car was set on fire.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that one of its reporters was shoved to the ground and punched.
The businesses that burned included a BMO Harris branch, a BP gas station, an O'Reilly Auto Parts store and a beauty supply store. Firefighters held back from the gas station blaze because of gunfire.
Police said the man who was shot had an arrest record. The 24-year-old officer who shot the man has been placed on administrative duty. The officer has been with the Milwaukee department six years, three as an officer.

Antonio Cromartieraked in millions of dollars as a star NFL defensive back during his 10-year career, but that's not stopping him from putting his mom out on the street.
TMZ reports that Cromartie has given written notice to his mother, advising her that she will be evicted on August 15, from the home he bought for her in 2007 unless she comes up with the $2,310 owed in back mortgage payments.
This situation started to spiral out of control in February when Cromartie informed his mom that she would have to start forking over the$700.00a month mortgage payment.
She refused, arguing that since he gifted her the home he should continue making the payments.
Both sides refused to budge leading to the current mess.
Cromartie's little sister, LaQuinta Gardner, told TMZ that her family is angry with her brother over the eviction notice her mom received on Thursday, August 11.
She has started a GoFundMe page in an effort to raise the funds.
Cromartie might be having cash flow problems. He has at least 12 kids by 8 different women. The last 2 kids were born in May after he had a vasectomy. In 2010 theNew York Jetsgave him a$500,000advance so he could catch up on child support payments.
His last year in the NFL was 2015. He was cut by the Jets in February. It's possible another team could pick him up, but training camps have already started and at age 32, he's on the down side of his career.
Monica Mares. 36, and Caleb Peterson, 19, law enforcement booking photo provided by the Curry County Detention Center in Clovis, N.M.
Video After The Jump
36-year old Monica Mares was 16 when she gave her infant son, Carlos, up for adoption. The boy's adoptive parents changed his name and raised his as Caleb Peterson.
19-years later, Peterson met his biological mom. The two became romantically involved and have decided to get married.
Mares believes Peterson will be a great father to her other 9 children.
"At first I told Carlos that, 'I'm sorry, I don't know how you're going to react to this, but I'm your mom and you're my son' and I'm falling in love with him," Mares told The Daily Mail. "He said 'Are you really?' I said 'Yes, I am." And he said, 'You know what? I was scared to let you know, I am too.' He was too, falling in love with me. With his mom and I was falling in love with my son."
That information didn't sit well with the police in Clovis, New Mexico, where the two live.
They were arrested in February and charged with one fourth-degree felony count of incest," according to theAssociated Press.
If convicted, Peterson and Mares could be sent to prison for a maximum sentence of 3 years apiece and have to cough up a $5,000 fine.
They face a trial by jury in September. Contact between the two is prohibited.
The couple has gone public in a bid to raise awareness for genetic sexual attraction (GSA).
GSA is described as incest between close relatives, such as siblings or half-siblings, a parent and offspring, or first and second cousins, who first meet as adults.
Mares says that if she's convicted, she and Peterson will move to a state with less rigorous incest laws.
However, it's illegal in almost every state. Although the punishment is not as severe in several such as Ohio, Rhode Island and New Jersey, according to SexInfo.com.
Cristina Shy, who runs www.lilysgardener.com, a support and advocacy website for related couples out of Minnesota, told The Daily Mail they should have the same rights as the LGBT community.
"It needs to be brought to the attention of everybody in the country and people need to start thinking differently," Shy said. "It was the same with gay people just a few years ago and now they can get married they are accepted. Well why not consanguinamorous people like us? We are all adults. We are not pedophiles, there's no domestic issue we are in love, we want to be together but we are related. That shouldn't be a deciding factor."
I don't care how you slice it, there are just some boundaries that aren't meant to be crossed in my opinion. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
T.I.'supscale Atlanta restaurantScales 925allegedly owes it's landlord more than$1 millionin back rent. As a result it has been served an eviction notice, according to theNew York Post.
In a since deleted Instagram post from Tuesday. August 9, the Grand Hustle Records boss distanced himself from the situation. Calling the opening of the eatery a "huge mistake" and seemed to blame it's problems on his business partner, Charles Hughes.
"Attn. Attn.!!!! Everybody This is Charles," the rapper captioned a photo. "He is NOT associated with me or my company in any capacity. He IS NOT authorized to book anything on me or my company's behalf. We have NO dealings nor partnerships outside of my restaurant Scales925 (which was a HUGE mistake in hindsight) DO NOT call him about any of my business. If it ain't Clay, Doug, KT, Hannah, C-Rodd, Gilly,or G Roberson it ain't legit!!!! This message has been written by, endorsed & rapprochement by #TheKingBitch #FuqWhoDontLikeit #SeeMeWhenUSeeMe."
This latest news comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Atlanta against T.I. and Hughes in July, by 12 former restaurant employees over unpaid wages.
Part of the legal documents obtained by Billboard paint Hughes as an unscrupulous businessman
"Hughes has made fraudulent statements to restaurant employees concerning the hours the employees worked at SCALES 925. For example, Hughes used a time and billing software call ALOHA for keeping track of employee hours. The software would delete hours or not keep track of hours exceeding 40 hours per week. Employees complained to Hughes but were told it was nothing he could do. Hughes also implemented the time and billing software in such a way that it caused employees to claim $35 in tips when the employees did not, in fact, make $35 in tips. Employees were also coerced to work off the clock for three hours before they were allowed to go home.”
Hughes is also accused of depositing restaurant funds into his personal bank account, causing payroll checks to bounce.
"We are aware of the filing. We take allegations like this seriously and are looking into the matter," a rep for Scales 925 told Billboard at the time.
