Funkmaster Flex took to Instagram Live on Thursday, May 4, to clarify why he's been going at the late, great Tupac Shakur on social media this week.
According to Flex, The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered because 2Pac falsely accused him of having prior knowledge that he would be robbed and subsequently shot in 1994 at New York's Quad City Studios.
"Biggie would have never talked about this situation. And I'ma tell you what I fucking hate. People always want to ask me why I said it twenty years later. I said it when the fucking shit was going on!" an emotional Flex proclaimed. "Biggie wouldn't have fucking died if that nigga wouldn't have lied! He lied and y'all niggas worship him. Lied! [Biggie] never, ever said nothing about him. Fucking lied! Nobody wants to tell the truth. Y'all niggas don't wanna tell the truth. It existed!"

It seems Meek Mill either didn't get the memo that his beef with Drake was squashed or chose to discard the message. Regardless, don't expect those two to collaborate on new music anytime soon.
The confusion stems from a recent interview Meek's boss, Rick Ross, did with "Best Seat In The House." He said that he had met Drizzy face-to-face and worked things out.
"We actually sat down. Shout out to J. Prince," Ross said. "It was really just [bosses having a conversation]. We wasn't even discussing anything negative because by the time we get in the room, it's so much other things going on that it's already let's get on some money. But I had to just make sure we sat down to have some sort of understanding."
TMZ reports that despite an "understanding" being reached between Ross and Drake, sources close to Meek say there's been too much bad blood spilled for him to mend the rift.

3 very artistic men and a woman full of power and presence, from New York City's Lower East Side, are a huge part of the formula for Rock and Soul band, Quantum Split. And what you hear and experience from their sound is like nothing you have seen or heard before. If this writer HAD TO choose where to put this band, just by what has been heard, They would be sharing the stage with the late and great Jimi Hendrix.
Made up of lead singer and guitarist Soleil Laurent, lead guitarist Adrian Read, drummer Anthony Anderson and bass guitarist Ivan Hardy, Quantum Split has perfectly named their creation of sound as "Rock and Soul". Combines live instruments and powerful lyrics about the "real" world today, they rock hard with a lot of soul invested. The debut video for "America" is game changing. Starting of soft and mellow, one who is new to this group may think they are about to hear more of a pop, or soft rock genre band. But as the song adds instruments and vocals, Soleil quickly begins to build us up for an astounding break down and chorus, you know you are about to be introduced to a whole new style of music.
The song and video tells and shows a very simple and yet still often overlooked point of fact. No matter your ethnicity, skin color, gender or religious beliefs. If you are a citizen of this country..."We are American...So what you gonna do?" They take full advantage of a hard rocking feel good bridge.....And the interesting song "America" only gets better through its display of image and art.
The video shows us the strengths and unity of races and religions....and still fits in the struggles, anger, confusion and fear many face in such a divided society. A switching of places at times while illustrating quick almost subliminal messages fed to your eyes and brain. A song and video that makes you enjoy yourself, while still causing you to think, sometimes even question where and how can you make a difference. Because no matter what they look like or where they come from, We are Americans. We are humans. We are all brothers and sister. Your struggle is mine. My strength is yours...and if we united, what could those behind the scenes of confusion and illusion do?
With beautiful energy, entertaining angles and strategically placed shots of fill in footage, Quantum Split and director Cortez McKay create a stunning cinematic presentation of music's vibe, caught on film. Check Out Quantum Split's new Video "America" Today. You will not be disappointed.

Adolph Thornton Jr., aka Young Dolph, aka "Notorious Dolph" aka "Dolph Obama" has been riding high on the success of his latest album Bulletproof. He also made headlines back in February for surviving a brazen attempt on his life—100 shots were fired at his SUV while on his way to a show in Charlotte, N.C. And he still made it to the stage.
Last week the young boss who titled his 2016 album King of Memphis stopped by MASS APPEAL HQ and opened up about his early days on "the wild Hundreds" of Chicago's Southside.
"My grandmama in Memphis, she came and took me when I was about two years old and took me to Memphis," Dolph recalls in a remarkable Open Space interview. At the time his mother and father were "in the streets," struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
"I had a problem with my parents when I was younger," Dolph explains. "I just felt like, 'Aw shit, they don't give a fuck about us.' They doin' they thing. They can't do shit for us. We don't see them." Once he got older and gained more experience he gained an understanding for his parents' situation. "Someone who's just an alcoholic in itself they can't function. That shit is just all bad." Still he remembers the day his mama told him he was going to be a star.
Dolph would go on to fulfill his mother's prediction, establishing his name in the rap game. "I made a song," he says, recalling the birth of his 2008 mixtape, Paper Route Campaign. "Went to the hood. Went to the spots. Went everywhere, like... Pull up on my boys. Lettin' them hear it. They jump out the car. This is you?" He watched the wave build until his debut mixtape became a regional phenomenon: "First it started from, 'We finna show my boys—let me see what it sound like.' To 'Damn, the hood, they love it!' To 'Damn, we got the whole city on this shit!' To 'Damn, we got the whole state!' 'Down there in Mississippi on this shit!' 'Down there in Alabama!' 'Now we in Carolina!' It's like the measles, the shit spread. And you like... It's a feeling you can't explain."
After recounting the high associated with musical success, Dolph also shares his feelings about a near-fatal car crash in 2013—as well as his thoughts on the close call he survived in Charlotte. "It was a crazy situation," Dolph says, calling the recent incident "the biggest test of my life." Asked if he was surprised that the shooting happened, Dolph states: "I was surprised but I wasn't surprised if that make sense." One thing's for sure, he's not tripping. Maybe that's why they call him "the realest in it."
"I tell fake from real just offa actions," says a man who's been through some real situations. "Fuck everything else. Shit don't make sense I don't want part of it. Shit makes sense, I'm with it all the way." Check out the full interview below.
