J. Cole got the shock of his young career during a recent concert in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The rapper was thanking fans for coming out his show Wednesday (September 21) when one of them handed him a retail copy of his album Cole World: The Sideline Story. The only problem is, the album doesn't get officially released until September 27.

I don’t know how the f*ck they got this sh*t, but this sh*t is real my n*gga,” he said. “This sh*t is incredible for me to see right now. This a n*gga album. I don’t even have this, n*gga. I don’t know how you got this.

There were reports that some Target stores had put the album on shelves prematurely, but that hasn't been substantiated.

One of the best gangster movies of all time is about to get another remake.

Deadline is reporting that Universal is preparing to film a third version of Scarface.

The film is not intended to be a remake or a sequel. It will take the common elements of the first two films: An outsider, an immigrant, barges his way into the criminal establishment in pursuit of a twisted version of the American dream, becoming a kingpin through a campaign of ruthlessness and violent ambition. The studio is keeping the specifics of where the new Tony character comes from under wraps at the moment, but ethnicity and geography were important in the first two versions. In the 1932 Scarface, an Italian (Paul Muni) took over Chicago, and in the Brian De Palma-directed remake, a Cuban cornered the cocaine trade in 1980s Miami, only to be consumed by it. Ann Dvorak, George Raft and Boris Karloff starred in the original, and Michelle Pfeiffer, Steven Bauer and Mary Elizabeth Mastrontonio starred in the remake.

The version starring Al Pacino is one of the most popular movies ever in the hip-hop community. More than 10 million copies of the DVD have been sold worldwide.

No word yet on casting or a release date for this latest version.

Would you like to see another Scarface remake or should they leave a classic alone?

Common sat down for an interview with MSNBC's "Morning Joe" today to discuss his new memoir One Day It’ll All Make Sense.

The Chicago rapper/actor talked about what inspired him to write the book, his mom being his best friend, being labeled a "socially conscious" rapper, and Nas being the best rapper alive.

“Nas is so poetic with it and I feel like his lyrics, you can write ‘em down on paper and they will last for time," Common said. "It would be like literature that we read."

The two recently linked up for the song "Ghetto Dreams," which is the first single for Common's upcoming 9th studio album The Dreamer, The Believer, due out later this year.

A Missouri mom is in all kinds of trouble after her child brought drugs to his kindergarten class

Police in Sweet Springs, MO say 32-year old Michelle Marie Cheatham's son pulled out a crack pipe, and several bags of methamphetamine worth $3700 when he came to school for show-and-tell on September 6.

Authorities later obtained a search warrant, and found the crack pipe and a butane lighter at Cheatham's home.

Cheatham was charged six days later with two class C felonies. One for endangering the welfare of a child and the other for possession of a controlled substance. She could receive 7 years in jail and a $5000 fine for each charge if convicted.

Police Chief Richard Downing said this is the first time something like this has happened in his career.

"When I called the prosecutor about it, they said, 'You're kidding me, aren't you?" he told KCTV5.

Cheatham posted a bail of $7500 and was released.

50 Cent was a guest photographer for Smooth Magazine's 52nd edition.

The G-Unit boss came up with the "warrior princess" theme for the edition, and photographed all 14 models over the course of four days in 10-12 hour shifts.

"[The opportunity] actually came up when they were shooting the 50th edition. My young boy Banks was in that one," 50 said. "I stopped by the photo shoot and said 'you know what would be interesting is if we did something that's a little more artistic, that showed the women in a stronger position.'"

Look for more photography work from 50 in the future. He compares it to his acting career, and plans to continue taking pictures of beautiful women for the foreseeable future.

Forbes has rolled out their Future 400 list, and Diddy makes the cut in a big way.

The Bad Boy Records CEO, is worth an estimated $550 million.

The notorious name-changer has taken to calling himself Ciroc Obama, and for good reason: Through his vodka deal with beverage giant Diageo, Diddy receives an annual cut of profits and a big chunk of cash if the Ciroc brand is ever sold. With the spirit’s value soaring toward $1 billion, and stakes in clothing lines Sean John and Enyce, marketing firm Blue Flame and record label Bad Boy, Diddy may beat buddy Jay-Z, featured on last year’s cover, to The Forbes 400. Net worth: $550 million.

Other notable names on the list include Interscope's Jimmy Iovine ($400 million), movie director/producer Michael Bay ($410 million), Dropbox CEO Drew Houston ($400 million) and Twitter creator Jack Dorsey ($650 million).

Pics After The Jump

Rihanna was seen sporting an interesting tattoo while in Brazil recently.

Riri stepped out onto the balcony of her hotel to blow kisses to her fans below, and appeared to have the word "thug" inked on the knuckles of her right hand.

When someone asked her about it on twitter, the singer replied; "*THUG LIFE* n my Pineapple Xpress voice."

I'd be willing to place a bet the tat is sharpie ink and not the real thing, but who knows?

Peep the pics below.
