Raekwon The Chef has been hard at work on the script for a movie based on his life for the past year. Today he revealed that he's already cast one of the lead characters.

Chef told XXL that Cee Lo Green, would be playing the part of his dad.

“Cee Lo Green [is] playing my pops in the film,” Chef said. “Cee Lo is gon’ play Raekwon’s ol’ dad! [He’s] a good friend of mine. When I called him and told him about it he was just overwhelmed. He’s just one out of the greats that’s gonna be on the project.

The working title of the upcoming flick is 'C.R.E.A.M.' In it we will see how Raekwon rose up from the mean streets of New York City, to become one of the most respected rappers in the game as part of the Wu Tang Clan.

According to XXL, the the script is near completion and 60% of the roles have already been cast.

Chuck English of The Kool Kids, is one person Rae is considering for the role of himself as a youth.

Chuck of The Cool Kids, that’s my dude, good dude, but he’s still gotta go in for casting purposes to see if he really could make a debut in a great way,” Raekwon said.

Whether the film will hit theaters or go straight to dvd is still undecided. Raekwon is currently in talks with Lions Gate, in the hopes the movie will make it to the big screen.

We’re definitely going for the theaters,” he said. “The people that are gonna be involved with it definitely feel like it’s a great picture, and there’s a definite possibility it’s a Lions Gate film.

Much to the chagrin of his record label, singer The-Dream, will be giving a brand new album away this month via internet download.

The album will be released under his birth name Terius Nash, he announced yesterday on his twitter account.

"LP4 is Underway I THE-DREAM have decided to go forward with "Diary Of A Madman" LP it almost didnt happen," he wrote. "So ill be in my DefJam uniform for at least one More Season! Also a free 10 song Internet album will be released by Aug 31st. LP 4 because of the Contract negotiations does not have a date, but it will be released 4th quarter but i will give a 10 song Internet LP while you guys wait!!!!"

The 34-year old hitmaker said Def Jam is not at all happy that he's giving away free music, but that's not going to stop him. He also added that the free LP is a very personal project for him and is a way of giving back to his fans.

"The Internet LP is entitled '1977' and will be released under my real name Terius Nash not The-Dream. Shooting Videos for 1977 all this week," he wrote. The "TERIUS NASH EST. 1977" is very personal and to my Fans! BTW NO ONE AT DEFJAM IS HAPPY ABOUT A FREE ALBUM LOL.... they are trying to stop it!"

This morning rumors of a serious rift between Jay-Z and Kanye West started circulating. Reportedly the two were at odds over creative differences regarding the amount of money to spend on their upcoming tour. To put the rumors to rest, Hov called into Hot 97 to talk with Angie Martinez.

"I kinda wanna spend a gazillion dollars [on the tour] too!," Jay-Z told Angie. "I know that we doing something right now... When I woke up to all that (the reports), I was like, you know, we must be really hot right now, it's happening! Kanye's my brother, if there's ever a problem with us... Yes, we get on each other's nerves but that's part of pushing each other... So of course there are times when we're in the studio, we're yelling, but that's about it... I would never disrespect (West). I have too much respect to put my hands on him. We have a healthy respect for one another... It's always about the art, it's never about him and me; it's always about the art."

Video And Poll After The Jump

Randy Moss is calling it a career after 13 seasons in the NFL as one of the most dynamic and polarizing players the league has ever seen.

Moss' agent, Joel Segal, said Monday that the receiver was considering offers from several teams, but made the decision to retire. Segal declined to comment specifically on the offers, instead saying his 34-year-old client felt the time was right to step away.

"Randy has weighed his options and considered the offers and has decided to retire," Segal said.

If this indeed is the end for Moss, he leaves the game with some of the gaudiest statistics ever posted by a receiver. His 153 touchdowns are tied with Terrell Owens for second on the career list, and he's also fifth in yards (14,858) and tied with Hines Ward for eighth in receptions (954).

Those numbers, and his status as perhaps the best deep threat in NFL history, will make him a sure-fire candidate for the Hall of Fame. But his on-the-field performance, which included six Pro Bowl seasons, was often overshadowed by streaks of boorish behavior and an apparent penchant for taking plays off when he lost interest in the game.

His career started with seven electric seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before he went dormant for two years in Oakland.

He re-emerged as a force with the New England Patriots in 2007, hauling in a single-season record 23 TD passes from Tom Brady to help the Patriots go 16-0 before losing to the Giants in the Super Bowl.

Moss was traded back to the Vikings in October of last season, but the celebrated reunion lasted just four weeks.

Fed up with his petulant behavior, Vikings coach Brad Childress cut Moss in November, a stunning move that played a role in the coach's dismissal a few weeks later.

Moss finished the season with eight games in Tennessee, but made little impact with the Titans.

Segal said earlier this summer that the receiver was training hard and determined to prove to the doubters that he could still dominate the game like he had in the past, describing Moss as being in "freakish shape" after "working out, two-a-days, all spring and summer in West Virginia."

"He is determined, motivated and quite frankly has a huge chip on his shoulder. Whatever team ends up getting Randy, they're going to know they're getting the old Randy Moss," Segal told NFL.com in mid-July.

"He's not just coming in to be on the team, he's going to be Randy Moss -- a difference-maker."

Throughout his career, Moss earned the reputation as one of the most dangerous players in the game, when he wanted to be.

"Randy has been a great player for a long time," said Bob Pruett, Moss' college coach at Marshall. "He's choosing this on his own terms and I think that's good. If that's what he wants to do, that's what he should do."

Moss' combination of size, speed and intelligence has rarely been seen for a player at his position, and he deserves some credit for the influx of Cover 2 defenses throughout the NFL that were designed in large part to prevent Moss from burning them down the field.

Trouble off the field in high school prevented Moss from attending Notre Dame or Florida State, so he landed at Marshall and scored 54 touchdowns in two seasons with the Thundering Herd.

The off-field questions hurt Moss in the 1998 draft. He fell to the Vikings at pick No. 21 and he spent the next seven years making every GM in the league who passed on him regret it. He scored 17 touchdowns as a rookie to help the Vikings reach the NFC title game and only once failed to score at least 10 TDs in a season in his first tour with the team.

He also got into several controversies along the way, bumping a traffic cop in downtown Minneapolis, squirting a referee with a water bottle during a game and leaving the field early in a game against Washington, just to name a few.

Sensing a change of scenery was needed, the Vikings traded Moss to Oakland in 2005, where he spent two quiet seasons before his career was revived in New England.

Vikings fans were euphoric at the news of his return last season, but things soured in a hurry. He caught 13 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns in four games back in purple, clashed with Childress in the locker room and turned some teammates off with his poor treatment of a team caterer toward the end of his run.

Moss hugged former Patriots teammates after a Vikings loss, and then bizarrely stepped to a podium to fawn over the Patriots, criticize the Vikings for ignoring his strategic advice, and announce his plan to interview himself the rest of the season instead of letting reporters do it.

Next stop, Tennessee, where he caught just six passes in eight games.

Virginia, Wyoming, Middle Tennessee State and UAB have already made offers to the 5-9, 175 pound cornerback according to Greg Powers of Scouts Inc.

Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, UCLA, Arizona State, Cincinnati and Illinois are also showing interest in the 17-year old.

"I talked to the coach at Illinois, and they told me that they were going to give me an offer," Justin said. "They seemed very excited. We talked about the academics, the football team, the campus, the life there and stuff like that just so I could know a little bit about it. I am going to go out there and see the campus soon before my season. I just want to show my hard work and how it pays off and to show that I deserve that spot and I deserve that scholarship. This why I deserve that scholarship -- I am going to show you why."

That's a really good look for the kid. I'm sure his dad is really proud of him.

Check out Justin playing ball in the video below.

As Kanye West and Jay-Z, together known as The Throne, prepare to release their album 'Watch The Throne,' reports have surfaced that the two rappers are beefing behind the scenes.

The New York Post is reporting that the rift between the two centers around their highly anticipated upcoming tour.

Sources tell the Post that Kanye wants "next-level production," which would cost more than $400,000 per show. Jay-Z on the other hand wants to keep costs to a minimum because he has a long term advance to pay back to to Live Nation, who is backing the tour.

"Jay-Z can't deal with Kanye," an inside source told the Post. "Jay is a stone-cold businessman. He wants to recoup all of his money from Live Nation. But Kanye wants to upstage rock stars with a blowout show. He doesn't care about costs. He has a lot less to gain from the shows."

The two are trying to work out their issues, but their relationship might have suffered a long term blow.

"Jay-Z is fed up with West's antics," another source said. "He doesn't even want to be around him."

Despite the apparent beef the two are expected to perform together at their 'Watch The Throne' album listening party tonight at the Rose Planetarium in Central Park.

This wouldn't be the first time Jay-Z has beefed with a tour mate. In 2004 he and R. Kelly feuded while on their Best Of Both World's tour. The tour was eventually cancelled after a bizarre performance at Madison Sqare Garden, where Kelly thought two people in the audience were waving guns at him.

Pics After The Jump

Jennifer Love Hewitt is looking great these days.

The 32-year old actress/singer was spotted in Santa Monica, California last week while out shopping.

She looked really happy as she showed off her curvy figure while wearing a short black dress, as photographers snapped pictures.

Is it just me or has she gotten finer/thicker?
