MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - She was awarded an honorary Pulitzer for filming the murder of George Floyd by then Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin, now Darnella Fraizer is mourning the death of her uncle, Leneal Frazier, killed Tuesday morning when a Minneapolis police squad car pursuing a vehicle believed to have been involved in multiple robberies struck the car he was driving.
In a Facebook post, Darnella wrote, "I honestly can’t believe I’m making this post right now...I’m so hurt...nothing feels real. I woke up to the most horrible news," going on to write, "MY uncle... Another Black man lost his life in the hands of the police! I asked my mom several times "he died??" I couldn’t accept what I was hearing and still can’t. Some things just take time to process."
Family says Leneal was heading to his girlfriend’s house when the MPD squad struck his car.
Early Tuesday morning, Minneapolis police officers were pursuing an armed robbery suspect in the area of North 41st Avenue and North Lyndale Avenue. While traveling northbound, the squad struck Leneal's car in the intersection. The squad then went into the southbound lane and struck another uninvolved car. Both the officer and Leneal were taken by ambulance to North Memorial.
Leneal died of his injuries. The officer was injured but is expected to survive.
"This is not fair, not right," Leneal’s daughter, Lanesha Frazier said. "I didn’t expect that to be my father. I’m really grieving because all these police out here, they’re not watching what they’re doing… they need to watch what they’re doing, innocent people out here being hurt."
The family has set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs.
On Wednesday, Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne “Gammy” Banfield Norris discussed drug addiction, particularly focusing on the increase of alcohol consumption among women in the latest Red Table Talk episode titled, “Are You Drinking Too Much? A Wake Up Call for Women.”
“One of the reasons why this particular show was really important to me is because wine, for me, was like Kool-Aid. ‘Cause, like, I was a–you know, a brown liquor drinker, vodka–like, I was a hard liquor drinker. Like, I could drink almost anybody under the table,” Jada began.
Jada recalled that she would mix drugs such as alcohol, weed and ecstasy, which eventually affected her work—particularly a time when she passed out on the set of The Nutty Professor (1996) due to consuming a bad batch of ecstasy.
“I had one incident,” Jada said. “That was an eye-opening incident for me as well. I had one incident on Nutty Professor. I passed out. Makeup trailer.”
That, along with “throwing up all over” Debbie Allen’s house was Jada’s “rock bottom”—it was her wake-up call.

Meek Mill and Travis Scott got into it at a ritzy July Fourth bash in the Hamptons, causing a huge scene outside the party.
Sources say the two rappers got into a loud verbal argument at the over-the-top soirée — which was thrown by 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, and attended by a host of stars including Jay-Z, Robert Kraft, Alex Rodriguez and Jon Bon Jovi — but the rappers were pulled apart and led away from each other before it escalated.
We’re told Mill in particular was thrown into a rage by the confrontation, and could be heard yelling at the "Highest in the Room" rapper even after he’d been walked away from the scene.
Insiders say it’s not clear what started the beef. We’re also told there’s video of the scene.
The incident, which allegedly happened around 1:30 a.m., effectively brought the extravagant "White Party" event to a close.
Mill and Scott don’t seem to have any past beef, though Mill has had heated rivalries with other rappers.
Mill and Tekashi 6ix9ine nearly came to blows in the parking lot of an Atlanta nightclub earlier this year, with both rappers posting footage of the incident. Mill also had a multiyear feud with Drake, but the two ultimately settled their differences by collaborating.
In 2018, Mill had offered fairly measured criticism of Scott’s decision to join Maroon 5’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show during the NFL’s race row over Colin Kaepernick’s protest during the national anthem. "He don’t need that," Mill said of Scott’s participation, "he on fire already!" He added, "Stay strong in this s–t!"

The FBI is taking the unusual step of ordering a new look at the autopsy of Black motorist Ronald Greene to consider evidence not provided after his 2019 death, including graphic body camera video of Louisiana state troopers stunning, punching & dragging him after a high-speed chase.
The re-examined autopsy is part of a federal civil rights investigation that has taken on new urgency in the nearly two months since The Associated Press obtained & published the video of Greene’s arrest. Federal prosecutors also met with his family last month & made clear they plan to present the case to a grand jury by the summer’s end.
“They wanted to emphasize to the family that they’re serious this time,” the family’s attorney Lee Merritt said. “Their new enthusiasm is based on the public pressure that’s come from the release of the videos.”
The autopsy could be crucial in determining if anyone is charged in the case. The initial examination of Greene’s body two years ago failed to determine whether his most severe injuries were caused by the troopers’ violent use of force or a minor crash that followed the police chase.
Several people familiar with the case told the AP that the FBI recently asked Dr. Frank J. Peretti, who conducted the initial autopsy, to take another look that takes into account a raft of evidence the Louisiana State Police refused to provide the first time, including the troopers’ body camera footage & even the most basic police reports. His review in the coming days, which will focus on the supporting evidence & not require another exam of Greene’s long-buried body, could result in a revised autopsy report.
The materials that weren’t shared for the initial autopsy are just part of the secrecy that has shrouded Greene’s May 2019 death, which state police initially blamed on a crash following a high-speed chase outside Monroe. The ranking officer at the scene of Greene’s arrest denied the existence of his own body camera footage for two years & state police did not open an administrative investigation into the troopers’ use of force until 474 days after Greene’s death.

Former President Donald Trump apparently thought that despite being responsible for millions of deaths during WWII -- including several million in the Holocaust -- Adolf Hilter's hits are overlooked in history ... this according to a new book, which details the wild claim.
The alleged story is told in WSJ reporter Michael Bender's new book, "Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost." Bender claims the Hitler anecdote was told to Trump's ex-Chief of Staff, Gen. John F. Kelly.
According to an excerpt obtained by The Guardian ... Bender's book claims Trump was on a visit to Europe in 2018 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI -- and at some point during the trip ... he turned to Kelly and allegedly said, "Well, Hitler did a lot of good things." Kelly was reportedly gobsmacked, as you can imagine.
The veteran military man pushed back, reportedly telling Trump he was wrong, but DT cited Germany's economic recovery under Hitler. Gen. Kelly pushed back further, reminding Trump who was on the good and bad side of history, while also drawing a line from point A to point B when it came to Hitler's ascent and, ultimately, his atrocities.
Kelly's also allegedly said ... "You cannot ever say anything supportive of Adolf Hitler. You just can't." Indeed, truer words haven't been spoken.
Trump has reportedly denied making the remark after the fact -- but Bender's book claims multiple unnamed sources have confirmed it.
