Eric Cohen is a Missouri-based hip hop artist who is rapidly on the rise especially in the spheres of Christian music and alternative hip hop. Eric has had a history with darkness. Navigating a chaotic childhood of poverty and addiction, while simultaneously having his own experiences with sin and vice, it has not been an easy road for Eric Cohen, but he thanks god everyday that he never gave up. Even after accepting the message of Christ and getting clean, Eric continued to struggle with the temptations and pain of this world.

ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) — Orlando police have arrested a 10-year-old girl in connection to a Memorial Day shooting that left one woman dead.
The 10-year-old girl was charged with second-degree murder & taken into custody Tuesday.
Police say just before midnight on May 30, 2 women were fighting in the courtyard area between buildings at an apartment complex.
The women were identified as 31-year-old Lakrisha S. Isaac & 41-year-old Lashun Denise Rodgers.
According to witnesses, Isaac punched Rodgers at a barbecue. The woman punched back, hitting Isaac in the face.
At some point, witnesses say Isaac “took off her backpack & gave it up” to her 10-year-old daughter.
As the 2 women continued to fight, witnesses say they saw the girl “rummaging through the backpack” & heard a gunshot.
The victim fell to the ground with a “gunshot wound to the head.”
According to deputies, Isaac’s daughter then yelled, ”you shouldn’t have messed with my mother!”
At the time, her mother was arrested & now faces a host of charges including not properly storing a firearm & manslaughter by culpable negligence.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A 2-year old boy fatally shot his father in an accident after finding a gun & the boy’s mother is now facing criminal charges.
Reggie Mabry, 26, was fatally shot late last month while he was playing a video game. The gun was fired by his 2-year-old son in the home Mabry, his wife Marie Ayala & their 3 young children shared in metro Orlando.
“The gun was not properly stored,” Orange County Sheriff John Mina said. “In fact, it was easily accessible, even to a 2-year-old & the result is a tragedy that no one in this community can really comprehend.”
Ayala, 28, was charged with manslaughter by culpable negligence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon & violation of probation.
Both Ayala & Mabry had been on probation for child neglect & narcotics possession.
Ayala remained in jail on no bond Monday.
Ayala told detectives that her 5-year-old son told her that his 2-year-old brother had fired the gun, but the older brother couldn’t explain how his younger brother had gotten hold of the weapon.
The children weren’t harmed & have been placed in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
The tragedy could have been prevented if the gun had been properly stored.
“Now these young children have effectively lost both of their parents,” Mina said. “And a young child has to live his life knowing he shot his father.”

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. (Fox5) - The suspected killer of Atlanta rapper Trouble has surrendered to Rockdale County deputies & is now in custody.
The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Jamichael Jones' arrest all started with a "walk and talk." That's where they go to locations where they believe Jones may have connections in hopes to find out more information.
In this case, deputies say their search took them to Jones' mother's house, which eventually ended in his arrest after Jones called her while deputies were there.
"The mother turned the son into one of my sergeants, who began to talk to him & convinced Mr. Jones to turn himself in."
Jones told deputies he'd meet them near Southern Regional Medical Center in Clayton County. While they waited for him to arrive, both the mother & deputies remained in contact with him.
Levette says that Jones hadn't shown any signs of remorse but does appear to be fearful.
Jones faces charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, home invasion, and battery.

HOUSTON (AP) — A 24th woman filed a civil lawsuit Monday alleging sexual misconduct by Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who is also awaiting possible discipline from the NFL.
The latest lawsuit was filed in Houston by attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing all 24 women.
“Lost in the media frenzy surrounding Deshaun Watson is that these are twenty-four strong, courageous women who, despite ridicule, legal shenanigans & intense media scrutiny, continue to stand firm for what is right,” Buzbee said.
Watson has been accused by massage therapists of harassing, assaulting or touching them during appointments when he was with the Houston Texans.
The latest lawsuit makes similar allegations as the woman, a massage therapist, accuses Watson of assaulting & harassing her during an August 2020 session in her apartment. The woman alleges that during the massage session, Watson exposed himself and masturbated & “offered no apology or explanation for his conduct.”
The woman has quit being a massage therapist because of what happened to her and now suffers from depression & anxiety, according to the lawsuit.
During an interview Friday on SportsRadio 610 in Houston, Hardin again said Watson has done nothing wrong.
Hardin said Watson had consensual sexual activity with 3 of the women & did not force any of his accusers to have sexual contact.
Two separate Texas grand juries in March declined to indict Watson on criminal complaints stemming from the allegations.
But Watson could still be suspended if the NFL determines he violated the league’s personal conduct policy.

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. (CBS46) - Authorities in Rockdale County are searching for the suspected killer of Atlanta rapper Trouble. They have identified the suspect as 33 year-old Jamichael Jones.
The deadly shooting Sunday morning happened just before 3:30 inside Lake St. James Apartment complex.
"Upon deputies arrival they observed a Black male lying on the floor with a gunshot wound," Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Jedidia Canty said in a news conference Sunday.
The 34-year-old artist, whose real name is Mariel Orr, was shot once in the chest according to investigators.
Officials said Orr was visiting a female friend when Jones forced his way into the apartment and fired that fatal shot.
"Mr. Jamichael Jones did know the female, and it was a domestic dispute … the suspect and the victim did not know each other," Canty said.
Jones is wanted on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and home invasion.

Born in North Carolina, King Phil has had a long-standing relationship with music. The now rapper, producer, and songwriter knew music was his calling when his rap rendition of “Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem” won him a standing ovation by an entire congregation in a church in Greensboro. It was at this tender age of seven that the musician resolutely became cognizant of his talent.
After learning from his producer uncle in Indianapolis, King Phil’s drive for music just became stronger. Acquiring new skills and connections the eclectic artist was equipped for the musical world; his music style was an innovative mix of hip-hop and melodic rap with Lil Boosie being one of the greatest influences on his life.
Wild, carefree, and honest-spirited the rising star was quick to travel from here to there with his music. The singer’s experiences in Texas helped to add a new layer of innovation to his already catchy music. After successfully performing in San Antonio the musician truly understood the role music was to play for him.
