It's good to hear some new music from Young Scooter. He gets an assist on his latest song titled "Made It Out the Hood" from Kodak Black. The track was produced by Chophouze.
Stalley captures the excitement around NBA playoff game 6 last season while paying tribute to Kyrie Irving. The Ohio native penned this anthem to the young Cavalier talent before he was injured in game one. Do you think the Cavs have a chance to get a ring this go 'round? Stalley doesn't doubt it.
(AP) UFC fans, rejoice. Conor McGregor is not retired.
He's even willing to resume his spot in the main event at UFC 200.
The mixed martial arts superstar is simply fed up with the grueling promotional demands that come with being a pay-per-view star. The 27-year-old fighter known for his over the top personality says "I can not dance for you this time."
McGregor posted on Facebook Thursday that he needed to focus on himself and not the massive hype that accompanies his mega-fights.
"I have become lost in the game of promotion and forgot about the art of fighting," McGregor said in the nearly 650-word statement also posted to Twitter, instantly drawing thousands of shares, retweets and comments from fans.
"For USADA and for the UFC and my contract stipulations — I AM NOT RETIRED," McGregor said. McGregor, at times profane and critical of interviews he saw as pointless, said the "many distractions" led to errors in preparing for his last fight, specifically with cardio and weight.
McGregor has been training for a rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 200 in July. He lost to Diaz in March, ending a 15-fight winning streak in which he surprised many fans by fighting 25 pounds above his usual weight of 145 pounds, where he holds a title belt. The rematch was set to be fought at 170 pounds.
McGregor stirred fans this week with a tweet saying he had decided to retire young. That prompted UFC President Dana White to respond by saying McGregor had been pulled from UFC 200 because of the dispute over promotional appearances. White said McGregor was refusing to travel to Las Vegas for promotions ahead of another UFC card this weekend.
McGregor says he's still ready to fight at UFC 200.
"I'm doing what I need for me now. It is time to be selfish with my training again. It is the only way," he said. "I feel the $400 million I have generated for the company in my last three events, all inside 8 months, is enough to get me this slight leeway."
McGregor said UFC denied a request for a decreased promotional push and he wrote he would still be willing to attend a scheduled press conference in New York.
"I did not shut down all media requests. I simply wanted a slight adjustment," he said.
UFC said President Dana White would not comment until a scheduled press conference Friday in Las Vegas.
McGregor's coach, John Kavanagh, tweeted Thursday his fighter "rose again."
"Ur call now. You are the customers. What do you want? Press conferences or fights? Make some noise because we're ready to do the damn thing!" he tweeted.
White said this week he was working on a new UFC 200 main event and could keep Diaz on the card. The stacked card already included an interim featherweight championship bout between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar and Miesha Tate defends her bantamweight title against Amanda Nunes.
McGregor, who sits alongside Ronda Rousey as the UFC's biggest pay-per-view stars, is still the featherweight champion. Aldo and Edgar will meet for the interim belt and the winner was scheduled to get the first shot at a unification fight against McGregor.
McGregor added to his aura when he knocked out Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194 in December.
He now seems primed to return to the cage where he can talk trash to his rivals, not about the fight in front of scores of microphones.
"It is time for the other monkeys to dance," McGregor said. "I've danced us all the way here. Nate's little mush head looks good up on that stage these days. Stuff him in front of the camera for it."
UFC fighter Eddie Alvarez wrote on Twitter that McGregor had "good insight on how an empire rises and then falls."
Alvarez said McGregor's stand sets a precedent for future stars if UFC caves to his demands.
If UFC folds then it's sets a precedent for future stars to do the same , short term gain $$$ Long term disaster .. Let's see what happens
I have become lost in the game of promotion and forgot about the art of fighting. There comes a time when you need to stop handing out flyers and get back to the damn shop.
50 world tours, 200 press conferences, 1 million interviews, 2 million photo shoots, and at the end of it all I'm left looking down the barrel of a lens, staring defeat in the face, thinking of nothing but my incorrect fight preparation. And the many distractions that led to this.
Nothing else was going through my mind.
It is time to go back and live the life that got me this life.
Sitting in a car on the way to some dump in Conneticut or somewhere, to speak to Tim and Suzie on the nobody gives a fuck morning show did not get me this life. Talking to some lady that deep down doesn't give a fuck about what I'm doing, but just wants some sound bites so she can maybe get her little tight ass a nice raise, and I'm cool with that too, I've been giving you all raises. But I need to focus on me now.
I'm coming for my revenge here.
I flew an entire team to Portugal and to Iceland to make my adjustments in preparation and fix my errors I made with the weight and the cardio prep. With the right adjustments and the right focus, I will finish what I started in that last fight.
I will not do this if I am back on the road handing out flyers again.
I will always play the game and play it better than anybody, but just for this one, where I am coming off a loss, I asked for some leeway where I can just train and focus. I did not shut down all media requests. I simply wanted a slight adjustment. But it was denied.
There had been 10 million dollars allocated for the promotion of this event is what they told me.
So as a gesture of good will, I went and not only saved that 10 million dollars in promotion money, I then went and tripled it for them.
And all with one tweet.
Keep that 10 mill to promote the other bums that need it. My shows are good. I must isolate myself now.
I am facing a taller, longer and heavier man. I need to prepare correctly this time. I can not dance for you this time.
It is time for the other monkeys to dance. I've danced us all the way here. Nate's little mush head looks good up on that stage these days. Stuff him in front of the camera for it.
He came in with no shit to do that last one. I'd already done press conferences, interviews and shot the ads before RDA pulled out.
Maybe I'll hit Cabo this time and skull some shots pre-fight with no obligation. I'm doing what I need for me now.
It is time to be selfish with my training again. It is the only way.
I feel the $400million I have generated for the company in my last three events, all inside 8 months, is enough to get me this slight leeway.
I am still ready to go for UFC 200.
I will offer, like I already did, to fly to New York for the big press conference that was scheduled, and then I will go back into training. With no distractions.
If this is not enough or they feel I have not deserved to sit this promotion run out this one time, well then I don't know what to say.
For the record also - For USADA and for the UFC and my contract stipulations - I AM NOT RETIRED.
MTV unearthed a 1992 interview they had with Tupac Shakur in which he talked about wealthy Americans like Donald Trump who give very little, if anything back to those in need, no matter their race.
"I feel like it's too much money here. Nobody should be hitting the lotto for $36 million and there's people starving in the streets. That is not idealistic, that's just real," 2Pac said. "There's no way Michael Jackson ... or whatever Jackson should have (massive wealth) and then there's people starving. There's no way that these people should have planes and these {other) people don't have houses, apartments, shacks, drawers, pants."
"What do you say to people that say, 'Well. they earned it ... now you go out and earn yours,'" the interviewer asks.
"If they earned it then I think that that's good and I think that they deserve it. Even if if you earned it you still owe," Shakur responds. "Look at me, I don't have that mega-money, but I feel guilty walking by somebody [in need]. I gotta give 'em some mail. And if I know I got $3000 in my pocket, I feel like it's wrong to give that person a quarter or a dollar. It's wrong. Only you know what you got in your pocket. No matter what they do. If they take it and drink it, they take it and drink it. But, I mean you got," he continued. "We all know how hard it is and it's not about if you're good or you're bad. Sense it's not about if you're good or you're bad. Just because he don't got doesn't mean he was bad. Or don't mean that he's a criminal. It don't mean he's crazy or a drug addict, or none of that. It just means he don't got. Can you imagine somebody having $32 million and this person has nothing. And you can sleep?"

Our deepest condolences go out to his friends and family.
Love him or hate him, Charles Barkley, has no filter and always says what's on his mind.
During Tuesday’s edition of “Inside the NBA,”Ernie Johnson started a conversation about changes in the NBA that will allow the logos of companies to be placed on jerseys next season.
Johnson remembered that someone suggested the men's hair growth product Rogaine as a sponsor, but wasn't sure who.
"That was me, Ernie," Barkley said while a picture of LeBron James was on the screen to illustrate where the logos would be on jerseys.
"So you're owning that? LeBron, that's him," Kenny Smith responded.
“You think he don’t know he’s going bald?” Barkley asked. “I’m trying to save him so he can stop wasting all his money on paint.”
I don't think James is going to appreciate Barkley's comments, but this was pretty damn funny.

Bryan "Birdman" Williams and his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams have emerged from a low income environment in New Orleans to become multi-millionaires as co-owners of Cash Money Records.
We've watched as they have made stars out of Juvenile, Turk, B.G., Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh, Drake, Nicki Minaj and others, but what we haven't been privy to is the behind the scenes work the brothers have put in to build their empire. That will soon change.
While speaking at theBrooklyn Law Schoolrecently, Birdman, revealed that an all encompassing Cash Money biopic is on the way.
“Can I tell you something my brother told me? He said everything we’ve ever did – and I got 20 plus years selling records – nothing we ever did is worth more than that script. I’m excited about the script. That’s something I really want to do," Baby said, viaXXL.
The business mogul added that he's been inspired by the movie "Straight Out of Compton" and gave props to Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.
“I think that Dr. Dre and Ice Cube…I think they are geniuses for what they have done and accomplished,” he continued. “For them to do that and to make it trend-setting, they opened doors for us. And I just think that what we have is way more special, because we’re in modern times.”
A book could be the lead in to the film Birdman said. It's something he's still trying to figure out, but he's already working on the movie script and promised that there will be a lot of background information in it that the public is not aware of.
"Ive been working on a script ... this is gold," Baby said. "There’s a lot of things that people don’t know that we went through, things that happened behind the scenes of the company, things that happened before we was with Universal. So we got a lot of stories, but the way I’m putting it together is gonna be great and it's gonna be special.”
What's your interest level in seeing a Cash Money biopic?

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Chyna, the WWE star who in the 1990s became one of the best-known and most-popular female professional wrestlers in history, has died, authorities said.
Police in Southern California said they were responding to a 911 call from a friend of former WWE wrestler Chyna when they found her dead in her Redondo Beach apartment.
A friend had gone Wednesday to check on Chyna, whose real name is Joan Marie Laurer, after she had failed to answer her phone for a few days, Redondo Beach police said in a statement. The friend told the 911 operator that Laurer wasn't breathing.
The 46-year-old Laurer was dead when officers arrived, police said. Several media outlets report that she was 45.
Neither police nor coroner's officials have released any cause of death.
A coroner's investigator was still at the location with the body late Wednesday night, according to Los Angeles County coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz. He said he had no further information on the death.
The tall, muscle-bound, raven-haired Laurer billed herself as the "9th Wonder of the World" because her wrestling predecessor Andre the Giant had already called himself the eighth.
She was a member of the wrestling squad that dubbed itself "D-Generation X," often wrestled against men and at one point was the WWE women's champion.
On her official website a statement posted Wednesday night reads, "Today we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, the 9th Wonder of the World has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her."
I just heard the tragic news that @ChynaJoanLaurer has passed. She was truly a pioneer in our industry, and she will be missed. #RIPChyna
Laurer was a native of Rochester, New York and graduated from the University of Tampa in Florida before taking up wrestling.
She joins a long list of WWE professional wrestlers who have died relatively young, including Rick Rude, Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig, the Ultimate Warrior and Owen Hart.
After leaving the WWE in 2001, Laurer posed for Playboy and appeared in adult films and on reality TV, including the shows "The Surreal Life" and "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."
This story has been updated to reflect that Laurer was 46, according to a police statement.

Retired neurosurgeon and failed Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson stirred up a hornet's nest Wednesday, April 20, when he was asked his opinion about Harriet Tubman replacing America's seventh president and slave owner, Andrew Jackson, on the $20 bill.
Ben Carson talks about Harriet Tubman beginning at the 4:00 mark
"Well I think Andrew Jackson was a tremendous secretary — I mean a tremendous president,” Carson said Wednesday on Fox Business. “I mean, Andrew Jackson was the last president who actually balanced the federal budget, where we had no national debt."
"And here he gets kicked off the $20 bill," host Neil Cavuto said.
"Right, in honor of that we kick him off of the money,” Carson said, though Jackson is expected to stay on the back of the bill.
“Are you anti-Harriet Tubman?” Cavuto asked.
"I love Harriet Tubman. I love what she did, but we can find another way to honor her. Maybe a $2 bill,” Carson said.
Harriet Tubman freed hundreds of slaves in the 1800's
When informed of Carson's comments Rosa Parks' niece, Sheila Keys, told TMZ that he "needs surgery on his brain" and clearly puts zero historical value on Tubman's contributions to America.
Despite a$40,000reward being offered for her capture Tubman made 19 trips into slave country by 1860, helping to free hundreds as the leader ofThe Underground Railroad.
Famous author and abolitionist Frederick Douglass said, "Excepting John Brown -- of sacred memory -- I know of no one who has willingly encountered more perils and hardships to serve our enslaved people than [Harriet Tubman]."
