Kodak Black was back in court for a 2nd day on Friday, April 21, facing several probation violation charges.

The 19-year old "No Flocking" rapper, born Dieuson Octave, is accused of disrupting and getting kicked out of a court mandated anger management class, attacking a bartender at a Miami strip club and leaving the state of Florida to attend an Adrien Broner boxing match without permission from his probation officer.

Jennifer Cunnigham

Bartender Jennifer Cunningham testified on the 1st day of the trial that Black allegedly attacked her while at Club Lexx gentlemen's club. But under cross ecamination she admitted to not seeking medical help until after she had contacted a lawyer.

Cunningham also admitted to calling Black's manager threatening a lawsuit.

Tonya Durham

On Friday, Cunningham's testimony was undermined by another bartender who was working that night.

Tonya Durham told Broward Circuit Judge Michael Lynch, that it was Cunningham who attacked Black and that he was in a defensive posture, leaning back with his hands up.

Durham said she did not see the rapper kick Cunningham.

Black has already turned down a plea deal from prosecutors. He is staring at up to 8 years in prison if found guilty of violating his probation. Since a probation violation does not require a jury to determine guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, Lynch will have to make the determination.

Is Lil Wayne a member of Roc Nation?

He alluded to that fact at a concert earlier this month, but didn't provide much in the way of details. The 34-year old rap superstar, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., sat down recently with Skip Bayless on Fox Sports 1's "Undisputed" show and clarified his comments.

12352620271?profile=original

"[Jay Z's] just a good guy, man," Wayne said. "It was nothing but a simple thing. Just friend to friend, 'I just wanna help you.' Simply, that's all it was. 'I just wanna help you, man in any way I can.' And right now he's just gonna help me, in any way he can and that's just what it is."

When asked if he was completely free from Cash Money Records, Weezy indicated that he wasn't.

"No, we haven't done that yet," he replied. "We're still working on that. That's a situation, but like I said Jay's just a good guy. He just wanna help me ... And so he's gonna be helping me."

Wayne currently has a $51 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money Records on the table.

Check out Wayne's comments about Roc Nation in the video below starting at the 13:30 mark.

Jeezy is being sued by the children of a man who was killed at one of his concerts. However, one major problem for the family and a good omen for Jeezy, is that the rapper was never charged with the crime or even named as a suspect.

Concert promoter Eric Johnson was murdered backstage at a Wiz Khalifa and Jeezy concert in August of 2014 at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Irvine, California, when he was shot at least five times.

Jeezy, born, Jay Wayne Jenkins, and five other people were taken into custody after police allegedly found an AK-47 on his tour bus.

Da Snowman pleaded not guilty to the weapons charge and was released from jail several days later after posting $1 million bail.

In December of 2014 the felony weapons charge against Jeezy was dropped.

12352612671?profile=original

“Mr. Jenkins should not have been arrested and this case should not have been prosecuted,” Jeezy's attorney Blair Berk said in a statement via the L.A. Times. “We are pleased it has been dismissed, although frustrated that it took the police and prosecutors months to do the right thing."

“I pray this had nothing to do with race but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence. Words cannot express how vindicated I feel with these charges being dismissed today,” Jeezy said at the time.

TMZ reports that the concert promoter's children are proceeding with their lawsuit because a witness described the shooter as someone who looked like the "Dreamin" hit-maker.

Two years later the same witness repeated the claim in a deposition. A second witness "described the shooter to a police sketch artist who drew someone that looked eerily similar to the way Jeezy looked."

Johnson's kids are seeking money for funeral expenses and other damages.

Video After The Jump

Belvedere presents an inside into success in 2017. Through the lens of Future—who, by now, needs no introduction as his most two recent albums hit number one on the Billboard charts back to back—we talk to DJ Esco, one of Future's right hands and one of the minds who helps make the Atlanta star pop. Both Future and Esco show what it's like to move from the depths of the Atlanta to the world's biggest stage.
