Looks like the newest member of G-Unit will be coming out of the Bankhead section of Atlanta.
Shawty Lo made the big announcement on Video City Television.
"I sat down with about 4-5 labels. The best is... I had a meeting with 50 Cent/G-Unit." Shawty said. "I left New York last Wednesday. We had a good 6-7 hour meeting. I'm just waiting on his attorneys to get with my attorneys and we gone concrete it."
Shawty says he has a lot on deck with his own crew of artists starting with the 1st lady of D4L, Jha Jha, Costra Nostra Chain Gang and more. He figures 50 is a good guide to study under.
"I feel like 50 he's a hard worker with all that he's accomplished. I feel like I'm the down south version," Shawty said.
Shawty also spoke on the strange saga of Yung L.A. The ATL rapper got a duck tattoo on his face only to get it removed days later. He recently left T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint, who publicly beefed with Shawty for a while.
"I think Young L.A. done kinda lost his mind. I don't know what's wrong with the lil homie, trying to jump lebels and do this and do that." Shawty added. "He's making the city look bad.

Aries Spears takes aim at southern rappers in his latest comedy video.
Spiers plays rapper Big Booga Boogaloo an obnoxious country artist who just wants you to dance to his music and throw away the books.

Out of the many collaborations Kanye West had on 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy', the most memorable has to be Chris Rock's appearance on "Blame Game."
It's one of those skits that doesn't get old old. The lines, "I was f*cking parts of your p*ssy I never f*cked before" and "Who the f*ck got your p*ssy reupholstered?" are two of the funniest lines ever on a rap album.
Rock said in a recent interview he was more than happy to hop on the song.
“
I did that quicker than I read scripts that they offer me money to do,” he told the New York Times “I thank him so much it probably freaks him out. Especially at this late date, to get on something, the album of the moment, that stuff is priceless, you can’t put a price tag on that. “I felt invigorated by it - I’ve still got my fastball.”

Because of his sing-songy style of rap I had always thought of Nelly as more of a pop act than a street dude.
Goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover
After watching this VH1 Behind The Music special, I've changed my mind and have even more respect for this man than I did previously.
Not just because he had it hard coming up, but also because every hurdle placed in front of him, Nelly has found a way to get over it.
I guarantee when you watch it you will feel the same way.

In 1992, at at the height of both their young careers, Shaquille O'Neal met and became good friends with Notorious B.I.G..
"The first time I heard the name Biggie Smalls was she said my name in a rap, he said, 'I'm slamming brothers like Shaquille, it is real,'" Shaq remembered. "And instantly I became a fan. When I seen him, I saw that he was a big guy, you know it's an unwritten rule that all big guys stick together."
Shaq's career as a rapper was going pretty well at the time with 1 platimum album already uner his belt. Diesel remembers making the phone call to Big, asking if he would collab with him on a song for Shaq's upcoming album.
"My concept was always like rap with my favorite rappers. So I put out a call and asked if he would do it and he came right back and said yes." Shaq said.
One of the things that impressed Shaq more than anything else was the fact that Big came to the studio and was finished in 5 minutes.
"It's the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life," said Shaq.
There's one regret that still haunts Shaquille regarding his friendship with the rapper. The two were supposed to meet the night Big was murdered. Shaq wonders if he were there, would Big still be alive. Biggie's cousin, Lil Cease believes he would be.
"I think that may have changed things. If Shaq would have said 'im coming with yall" him and Big would have rode together," Cease says. "I'm sure Shaq would have had security and Big would have brought extea along to make sure Shaq was alright."
