The fun part of watching Charlie Sheen meltdown over the last several weeks has been because deep inside you thought to yourself this was all a joke. The act may have lost him his job ob CBS' Two and a Half Men, but he's gained millions of new fans.
Charlie hit the road on his "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option," tour last night (April 2) to further to milk this thing for all it's worth.
His first stop was the Motown City of Detroit
Turns out the fans weren't amused by what they saw and neither were critics in attendance.
David Rooney of the Hollywood Reporter wrote, "Call it 'tiger blood' or 'Adonis DNA' if you will. Just don't call it entertainment. Charlie Sheen pulled a stunt that even by his standards was a little extreme. He alternately pandered to and antagonized an estimated audience of 5,000 people at the Fox Theatre in a blatantly cynical attempt to cash in on his craziness."
Uh oh, looks like that winning streek might have stopped at least temporarily. The actor, turned crazy man still has a chance to redeem himself. There's still 19 cities left on the tour.
One thing is for certain the crowd in Detroit wasn't down with what Sheen was offering because they booed him heartily.
And when things got tough, Sheen got going. Saying he was taking a music break, Sheen left and never came back.

G-Unit's Tony Yayo could not resist publicly sharing his reaction to Nicki Minaj's new "Tragedy" diss aimed at rap rival Lil Kim and admitted the record is "crazy."
Although brief with his reaction, Yayo applauded the fellow Queens, New York rapper's record.
"This new tragedy nicki minaj. Crazy its on," Yayo tweeted April 2nd. (Tony Yayo's Twitter)
On the record, Nicki makes multiple references to Kim's long run in the rap game.
"Eh yo, Pink Friday, Eminem, 8 Mile," Nicki raps, "It must hurt to sell your album off PayPal/Especially when you're in the game, 15-20/You was hot when Shaq teamed up with Penny/Man, you was 'Magic', I mean/Look at you now, h*e, you're just tragic/You a tragedy, you a parody/Last name Ann, first name Raggedy/These goofy b*tches is stupidity personified..." ("Tragedy")
According to reports, the track comes from the hands of a producer named Hit-Boy.
Just when you thought it was over, Nicki Minaj swings back at Lil' Kim on a new diss record. A snippet of the unfinished track made its way to Funkmaster Flex, who reports that it may end up on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV. This time, the Young Money Barbie doesn't beat around the bush, taking direct shots at the Queen Bee. Hit-Boy confirms that he produced the marching beat and that the final version will also feature production from Boi-1da. It will go by a title other than "Tragedy" in its final form. (Rap-Up)
Last February, Kim talked about the success of her Black Friday retail mixtape's PayPal sales.
"Thanks to you guys!! #lilkimblackfridaymixtape sold 113,000 copies in 28 hours which made me the #1 seller on paypal ever =) !!! THANK U! RT," she tweeted February 15th.
"Sorry 4 the link issue too many hits shut the paypal system DOWN! LOL. We BACK #LilKimBlackFridayMixtape Buy Now! ---> http://bit.ly/gLIYa6" (Lil Kim's Twitter)
Last summer, Yayo discussed predicting Minaj's rise to fame.
"She was out there and she was messing with this guy named Fendi. I was trying to do a record with her, but Fendi was like, 'For what? Why you wanna do something with her?' Then I left it alone. This was a long, long time ago when I was seeing her on the 'Come Up' DVDs, 'cause that's how she started," Yayo explained in an interview. "You know what's crazy? Like, three years ago, I said to [music executive and G-Unit producer] Sha Money [XL] ... 'You need a hot female artist, rapper. I'm telling you, that lane is open. I'm telling you, Sha, that female lane, that rapper lane is wide open.' What she did was capture it at the right time, 'cause nobody's out. There's no Lil' Kim out, there's no Foxy [Brown]... she just conquered that lane at the right time with the right people." (Rap Fix)

G-Unit's unofficial European Ambassador, DJ Whoo Kid popped in on the Hip Hop Chronicles UK show recently.
As usual Whoo Kid had lots of jokes, but he did reveal that he and Dr Dre are working on what would be be Dre's first ever official mixtape.
"Hopefully everything goes down and I'll be hanging with Dr Dre for some mixtapes," Whoo Kid said. "Dr Dre wants to get into mixtapes finally."
Whoo Kid reminisced on the early G-Unit days when 50, Banks and Yayo were on some literal killed or be killed type mentality and drove around in a van fully strapped up.
The Unit has come a long way and is still climbing.

A school is Lancaster, Pa is using a new mentoring program designed to boost academics for African Americans,
McCaskey East High School separate black students from white students, then separates black females from males. This takes place six minutes each day and 20 minutes twice a month.
The goal is to boost kid's self esteem and help them to improve academically. The school has found that the black kids lag behind their white peers in certain academic areas.
Principal Bill Jiminez admits only blacks get this special treatment, but insists it needed to be done.
Others worry the program could have the opposite affect intended.
"Sometimes when we separate students this way we inadvertently reinforce the stereotypes, and may in fact stigmatize these children by suggesting that there is something wrong with them," says Pedro Noguera a Sociologist and Professor of Education at NYU.
I hope this works, but I have to agree with Mr Noguera on this one. There's no reason to separate the kids, even if it is for small perooids of time.

Flavor Flav's restaurant grand opening in Clinton, Iowa of his new restaraunt, Flavor Flav's Chicken didn't go as planned.
Instead of celebrating the beginning of what he hopes will be a nation wide chain, Flav and Co-owner Nick Cimino had to answer questions about checks bouncing all over town.
Several employees came forward with their stories of not being able to cash their checks. One said she even went to Freedom Bank, the institution check was written from and was told no funds existed.
Flav had a chance to tell his side of the story. He says the restaurant has no money issues.
"It's not true first of all. 2nd of all maybe these are people that are just jealous of me and probably wanna see me out," Flav said. "But yes, we do have money in our account."
Hopefully this is just a small glitch for Flav.

Well damn, Nicki Minaj fires back!
I honestly didn't think Nicki would respond to Lil Kim's taunts, but she's surprised me.
"Tragedy" gets at the Queen Bee, saying she is is old news. Not sure if this is a snippet or the entire song because it only contains one verse.
"Pink Friday, Eminem, 8 Mile/It must hurt to sell your album on PayPal/Especially when you're in the game fifteen-twenty/You was hot when Shaq teamed up with Penny," Nicki raps.
I respect Nicki for accepting the challenge. This kind of competition is what the game is made for.
We know Lil Kim is built for war, now we get to find out if Nicki is as well.

UK fans hoping to catch a Lil Wayne concert will have to wait a little longer.
The rapper has been banned from entering Europe due to his recent weapons conviction.
The cancelled dates means fans at a couple of festivals and several concerts will have to wait until next time around.
It isn't unusual for UK authorities to keep big name stars out of the country for legal issues elsewhere. Snoop Dogg has been banned from several different UK events in the past 4 years.
Wayne is currently on the North American leg of his 'I Am Still Music II' tour
