After 49 days holed up in an Angolan hotel concert promoter Patrick Allocco and his son have finally been freed. As we previously reported the two had their passports taken and were not allowed to leave the country until $315,000 that was paid to Nas and opening act Jemiah Jai was repaid to local promoter Henrique "Riquhino" Miguel for a New Year's Eve concert they failed to appear at.
In addition to the $315,000 Miguel wanted $75,000 more to be paid to him.
Nas finally paid back the $300,000 he was advanced, but Jai refused to pay back her end. It's unclear if she ever paid the money back but the Alloco's are free according to TMZ.
“An order was entered today by Angolan authorities lifting the travel ban which prevented [Patrick] and his son from leaving the country for 49 days after [Nas] failed to show for a New Year's Eve concert," Alloco's rep told TMZ on Friday (February 17).
The two were escorted by U.S. Embassy Officials on a flight to Lisbon, and are expected to arrive back home in Newark, NJ today.

Since Lopez Tonight was taken off of the air the only show left with a great house band is Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The Roots band did their thing once again Thursday (February 16) providing ill sounds for Young Jeezy and Ne-Yo to deliver a killer version of "Leave You Alone."
The song is off of Jeezy's new album Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition.
Talent Couture drops off the title track to his album A New Light. Talent gets an assist from super producer Harry Fraud, who seems to be making hits for everyone these days.
Robin Thicke was popped in for weed possession in New York City today according to TMZ. The singer was caught when cops say they say him lighting up a joint in a black SUV.
He was reportedly very cooperative and even signed a few autographs.
He was given a desk appearance ticket and released.
For a story that has gotten so much media attention not much has really happened between Drake and Common. The two never went toe to toe on wax as many fans had hoped because Drake thought Common was using him for record sales.
Then came the reports that the two had a verbal altercation at the Grammys. I mean is that really how fans wanted to see the beef end, in a shouting match?
HipHopWired has published a story today confirming the two rapper's came face to face backstage at the Grammys and a small amount of drama did pop off, but according to the report it was Drake's father, Dennis Graham, who intervened, not Lil Wayne as had previously been reported. Read the full story below.
Hip-Hop Wired has learned that Common and Drake actually squashed their beef at the Grammys, clearing up previous reports that the two rappers almost got into a violent altercation.
Apparently, both Drake and Common's entourages happened to be in the same area at the end of the Grammy red carpet, near where artists were being distributed their VIP credentials to enter the Staples Center, according to a source in the latter's camp. Common felt it was awkward for two men that had exchanged words in song to be in the same vicinity without saying anything to each other. With the two eyeballing each other intensely, Common asked Drake, "What's up?"
Drake responded with a "What's up?" of his own, and Common tried to approach him with the intent of speaking to the Toronto rapper one on one. However, Drake's security and other members of his entourage defensively intervened in his progress. Allegedly Drake said, "Yo, I grew up listening to this dude, what's the problem?," while his security was telling Common, "We respect you, this isn't necessary." But Common wanted to talk to Drake "man to man," angered that two rivals would cross paths and just not speak.
One of the members of Drake's crew turned out to be his father, Dennis Graham, who told Common the two artists "need to cut this out, y'all are better than this." According to the source, the elder Graham's intervention made Com change his approach, with cooler heads prevailing and the two rappers eventually going off to the side and speaking to each other alone. Holding true to the words he said in an interview moments before, Common and Drake exchanged pounds, and told everyone in their respective camps the beef had been squashed.
Police did arrive after hearing about a commotion, however they did not need to intervene with the situation already having been settled. Also, according to our source, no other YMCMB artists were present, which could have aided in the situation not getting out of hand.
Last month it was revealed that Nick Cannon had to be hospitalized with "mild kidney failure" while on a family vacation with his wife Mariah Carey in Aspen, Colorado. The entertainer was transferred to an L.A. hospital for further treatment.
"They thought it was kidney stones … then a kidney infection," Cannon said on his New York-based 92.3 NOW radio show earlier this month. "They found out my kidneys weren't functioning well. We didn't want to say 'kidney failure' so people would think I gotta get new kidneys and Gary Coleman and all that stuff, so we said 'mild kidney failure.'"
The entertainer seemed to be on the road to recovery when he suffered another health scare last weekend. According to People, Cannon was hospitalized again for two blood clots found in his lungs. Doctors also discovered that a ventricle in his heart was enlarged.

The 31-year old said his work schedule has been so hectic the last few years that it's affecting his health. So he will be dialing back on his workload. The first to go was his job at 92.3 NOW. He informed listeners this morning that he would be leaving the show.
"The news is out...this job is killing me," he told listeners. "What I need to recuperate is for my body to get stronger. These are the hours I need to be sleeping. And it's just a little bit difficult. I've been going hard."
Cannon also issued an official statement via 92.3's official website.
Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support. I will continue to host my syndicated “Cannon’s Countdown” weekend show and look forward to contributing to 92.3 NOW whenever possible. Even Superman has to sleep.

You would think celebrities would be careful and not take compromising pictures of themselves, but it seems like we're hearing these stories more and more about hackers leaking nude photos of women who swear after the fact that they are "good girls."
Singer Teyana Taylor became the latest victim of such an incident when a topless photo she took of herself leaked to the internet. You can peep it HERE.
She wrote an open letter to her fans expressing how much it hurt to have the pics leak and to have some people believe she leaked it herself.
Read the full letter below.
Look I'm human, & just like every girl in this world, I admire my body so i take pics just like EVERY other human being. However my phone that was stolen Witch my phone was also connected to my twitter. So i guess the hacker felt the need to have a field day and leaked personal photos, and also tweet mean & hurtful things about me. I ain't gone front It really hurt my feelings that someone would be so evil and mean. I would never leak photos like that of my self. I have so many blessings and opportunities ahead of me & I have way more class & respect for my self as a young woman. So there's no need to seek attention. But I sincerely apologize to all my supporters and followers who had to witness the devil at work, and at what he does best. Carma is a $&@# but I'll let God handle that. that's it that's all.
