Video After The Jump
Legendary West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg took to his Instagram account on Tuesday, Febrary 10, to rip the Grammy Awards for not giving hip hop it's proper respect.
The Doggfather posted a photo of Macklemore and a list of well known rappers, who together had less than the three trophies Macklemore won in 2014.
"Fuck the Grammys, we need a hip hop show for real niggaz n real mcs," Snoop wrote.
Snoop was actually agreeing with a report by Complex entitled "The Grammys Don't Know Shit About Rap."
The publication cited Iggy Azalea's four 2015 nominations, noting that they were more than MC Lyte, Foxy Brown and Lil Kim combined in rap categories. The Australian import even had more rap category nominations than Lauryn Hill.
In the group category, The Black Eyed Peashave won more rap Grammys thatA Tribe Called Quest, UGK, the Geto BoysandGang Starrcombined.
Drakehas 22 nominations, but only 1 win. A female emcee hasn't been given a rap Grammy in a decade.
To top that off, legendary rappers likeIce Cube, Mobb Deep, Ghostface KillahandRakimhave never even been nominated.
We'll have to agree with Complex's assessment of the Grammy Awards. What's your take?

Bobby Brownhas decided to take his daughterBobbi Kristina Brownoff of life support at midnight February 11, to coincide with the third anniversary of her mom,Whitney Houston'sdeath, according to theNew York Post.
Whitney's mom,Cissy Houston, reportedly suggested February 11 as the date to let Bobbi pass away and her father eventually agreed.
The move is a symbolic way to keep the mother and daughter together for eternity, according to a Brown family source.
Bobbi, 21, has been in a medically induced coma since being found face down and not breathing in her bathtub on Saturday January 31, 2015, in her Roswell, Georgia home. Her condition has not improved since then. Doctors informed the family there was nothing more they could do.
Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012. She was found submerged in the bathroom of her room at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
The coroner ruled her death an accidental drowning. Heart disease and cocaine were contributing factors. She was 48-years old.
**UPDATE**
US Weekly is now reporting that the decision to pull Bobbi off of life support is not accurate.
The family reached out to US Weekly to say there is "no truth to it at all" to the New York Post report.

Last weekendBirdmanwas denied entrance intoNicki Minaj'spre-Grammy party at 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood. At the time many people assumed it was a sign that Minaj had sided withLil Waynein his beef withCash Money Records.
Sources close to the female rapper say that isn't the case. By the time Birdman and his entourage arrived at 1:45 a.m., Nicki was gone. Another reason they were denied entrance is because they wanted to order bottle service and it was too late because the club was closing in 15 minutes.
Drakeand Nicki are reportedly trying to remain neutral while the Wayne vs Cash Money legal war rages on. Both are hoping for an amicable end to the beef.
