Oscar Award-winning actor Russell Crowe will not be charged in a case that involved him forcibly removing Azealia Banks from his Beverly Hills hotel suite in October.

As we previously reported, Banks filed a criminal complaint against Crowe on October 16, alleging he choked, spit on and called her a racial slur the night before.

RZA, who had been in negotiations with the "212" rapper, brought her to Crowe's party that night.

At some point during the evening things got hostile between Banks and another guest or guests. Witnesses claim the 25-year old Harlem, New York native was acting "erratically."

In a Facebook post RZA wrote that Banks "threatened to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason."

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office interviewed witnesses who said that Banks "repeatedly used a racial epithet and was verbally aggressive to people in Crowe's room."

The D.A. concluded that Crowe removing the rapper from the party was "justified to prevent the imminent violence threatened by Banks."

They ruled that Crowe's spitting was "incidental to preventing more serious threatened violence."

Charlamagne Tha God got dragged on Twitter Tuesday, December 6, for a tweet he sent out big upping conservative talk show host Tomi Lahren of The Blaze, and the need for minority women to create a similar platform to hers.

CTG gave himself "Donkey of the Day" for Wednesday, December 7, for not being specific while delivering his message.

In doing so, he agreed with one user who told him that he should have written, "Black women should create an online news show like Tomi Lahren, not platform ... wrong word to use."

Earlier this year Jhene Aiko was selected as PETA's Sexiest Female Celebrity of 2016. She gives back to the organization by posing nude in a new "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" ad.

"As human beings we have the power to speak up for animals," the singer says in a video clip. "They don't speak our language so, I feel like it's up to us to help them and give them a voice. Animals, they have feelings, they have souls, they have emotions. The way that they are killed for furs is very inhumane. I just feel like we really have to wake up and educate ourselves on how these animals are treated. It's not fair that we take advantage of them by using them for food, using them for fashion, for beauty. Even for little trimmings on jackets."

Big Syke, a member of Tupac Shakur's group, Thug Life, has passed away at the age of 48.

TMZ reports that Syke, born Tyruss Himes, was found dead at his home in Hawthorne, California on Monday night, December 5th. 

The rapper had battled obesity and had a history of heart problems. It's believed he died of natural caused, but an official ruling is pending the results of his autopsy.

In addition to their work together with Thug Life, 2Pac and Syke collaborated on the songs "When We Ride," "All Eyez on Me," "My Closest RoadDawgz" and "Check Out Time."

Syke also rapped under the moniker Moozaliny as a member of the Outlawz and released several solo albums.

Chris Rock is about to head out on the road for his first stand-up comedy tour in nine years. The wildly popular funny man made the announcement via a Facebook video Monday, November 5.

"The Total Blackout Tour is coming to your town in 2017," Rock says in the clip, taped in front of The Comedy Store in Hollywood. "First time in nine years! I haven't done it in a while. Been a little busy. You know, writing Pootie Tang 3 and everything. But, hey it's time. I'm coming to your town. I got all new material. I can't wait to see you, bitches."

The trek kicks off on February in Durham. Along the way there will be stops in Reno, Denver, Hollywood, St. Louis, Cleveland, and Austin before winding down in Atlantic City on June 3.
