Video After The Jump

The Breakfast Club Crew of Charlamagne The God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee managed to pull off a great interview today with T-Pain.

During their discussion with the singer he admitted to having a deal in place to sign with Young Money, but they backed away because they considered him to be a "liability."

"I didn't change my mind... Young Money changed their mind," Teddy P said. "I think they said I was like a liabilty. I'm pretty crazy. There's a lot of stuff y'all don't know that I be doing that's just real stupid that could get a lot of people in trouble."

The singer admitted to having a drinking problem. He told the crew he had a show recently with Wisin Y Yandel, but was so drunk he can't remember anything that happened.

He also talked about the effect Jay-Z's "D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)" had on his career.

"It was real bad in the urban community, but white people it made me more famous," he said. "Because when they search for it, you know white people really know Jay-Z and they seeing Death Of Auto-Tune and you click on that and the first thing you see is T-Pain. So in other communities it made me famous."

Check out the rest of the interview below.

Video After The Jump

50 Cent is about to release his new project, The Big 10 Friday December 9, at 12 PM Eastern. The good folks over at Vibe caught up with the G-Unit CEO to chop it up about what fans can expect to hear.

"Everything on it is new, it's like an LP. It's just that I got a chance to do the talking that I do on the mixtape," 50 said. "It's all original production. I took inspiration from certain things. Because it's been 10 years [since the release of 50 Cent is The Future] I called the tape The Big 10. The first song was Stop Crying, so I took content from a Biggie joint 'stop the bloodclot crying.' So i put Big on that. Half the time people don't acknowledge the thought process and don't know what I was thinking when I did it. That's why it was the first thing to come out because it was the Big thing. I actually got a strong response, the people like it. It's not the strongest song on the tape. It will build anticipation for the release of the tape because it's right."

50 also said he'll be introducing a new regime, The Ryder Gang on the project.

"I'm introducing a new regime," 50 revealed. "Not the new G-Unit, but Ryder Gang (which Kidd Kidd is a part of). The new artists that are coming out. You'll hear from Paris, a female artist on the joint. You'll hear Kidd Kidd. There will be some surprises... I don't want to blow it. When people hear the tape they will be surprised. It will hold them over until my album comes."

This is a really good interview. Check the rest of it out below.

Lil Kim is keeping very busy these days. In addition to working on new music, the Queen Bee is also planning a college tour and a mini-movie to coincide with the release of her book The Price of Loyalty.

"It's called The Price of Loyalty. It's strictly about my stiny when I was in prison," Kim said. "What's taking so long is we're trying to make a mini-movie to coincide with the book. That took a while because you gotta green light it and all that stuff."

Kim revealed that the book will be released through St. Martin's Press, and will feature never before seen pictures of her in jail.

Kim's upcoming album will have production from Timbaland, Rockwilder, Bangladesh, Wyclef Jean and Ryan Leslie.

The Brooklyn rapper also mentioned that she has an interview coming up with Thisis50 soon.

KRS-One's 2nd Official Release, AZTECHNICAL off of KRS-Ones 20th Studio Album Entitled JUST LIKE THAT Produced By MAD LION Dropping 1st 1/4 2012 ,on Killahpride Records. PEEP KRS-One's OPEN LETTER BELOW!!

"AZTECHNICAL"
Peace. This is KRS-One! I'd like to personally thank everyone for their show of support toward the release of the "Just Like That" video. I'm not really a big Internet guy myself, but I had to respond to the enormous amount of love we've experienced since the release of the "Just Like That" video. MAD LION ROCKED IT! However, the best is still yet to come.
As you may know, I often use my talents to edutain my listeners and inspire the international Hip Hop community. 2012 will be no different. I feel sorry for those who already think that I preach too much in rhyme, or that I need to retire. On the contrary, I'm just getting started.
Turning the flame up a little more, my next video presentation "Aztecnical" will deal with the myths of 2012, particularly the December 21st 2012 Mayan Calendar "end date". Too many of our people are being led astray by movies, lectures and hype mostly regarding the celestial calculations of the Mayan Calendar. And while other cultures also predict the same "end date" calculations, it is important to point out that all cosmic alignments, shifts and even changes are occurring RIGHT NOW! The question is, how might this affect Hip Hop worldwide? I believe we are about to finally have our "say" in the world. The key word in the next few upcoming months will be "courage", and true courage comes from living rightly. As an international culture, Hip Hop is poised for a great opportunity; my goal is to get us prepared for it, and fear has no place in our collective future.
I am sending this "Aztecnical" video out in hopes that it sparks discussion and dispels fears. The first verse deals with the actual Mayan calculations themselves and shows how governments and corporate entities of all sorts use the fears of the public to their own economic and global advantages. The second verse deals with the conquest of Cortez over the Mayan People and how it was the Mayans' own cultural beliefs that were used against them to cease their lands and resources. The point being, do not allow hype and your own view of the world to lure you into the hands of those only out to exploit you. BE STRONG! BE COURAGOUS! And yes, Knowledge Reigns Supreme. There It Is,Just Like That.

B.G. is sticking by the street code of "no snitching."

The former Hot Boys rapper, real name Christopher Dorsey, pleaded guilty Wednesday (December 7) to charges of being a three time convicted felon in possession of a firearm and witness tampering.

According to Nola.com, B.G. didn't cut a deal with prosecutors to testify against his co-defendants.

B.G., 31, was arrested in November 2009 along with Demounde Pollard, 17, and Jerod Fedison, 28, following a traffic stop in New Orleans. During a search of the car police found three guns, along with loaded magazines and two extended magazine clips.

In court yesterday B.G. admitted to owning some of the weapons. He also plead guilty to trying to coerce Pollard into signing an affidavit falsely claiming ownership of them.

In the 2011 music video "I Aint Tellin" B.G. speaks on not talking to the police and taking your own charge if arrested.

"Man, this f*cking ratting sh*t is getting out of hand," B.G. says in the video. "It's called t.y.c. man, take your charge."

B.G. will be held in jail until his March 14, 2012 sentencing, where he could get up to 40 years in jail.

During T.I.'s recent appearance on the Wendy Williams show the talk show host questioned him about his most recent drug bust, suggesting he should have gotten high at his hotel instead of driving around Los Angeles. Wendy also asked him whether or not his wife Tiny should have taken the fall for him as 50 Cent had suggested. Tip refused to engage in the conversation other than to say he had talked to 50 and the two reached an understanding.

At a recent concert Tip let the audience know why he reacted the way he did.

"Tell that motherf*cker Wendy Williams I ain't got no real problems with her. I ain't got no problems with Wendy Williams she just got on a topic I chose not to be on," he said. "She on yesterday, I'm on tomorrow. I don't mean her no harm in that. She got her position, I got mine. Hers is yesterday, my position is tomorrow. I aint got no business in reverse."

Doesn't sound like Wendy is going to be on the Harris' Christmas card list this year.

A Texas mom upset after being denied food stamps shot her two children before killing herself Monday (December 5).

Police say 38-year old Rachelle Grimmer pulled a gun out at the Texas Department of Health and Human Services building in Laredo, and staged a seven-hour standoff with police while holding employees hostage. At some point during the standoff the manager of the office convinced Grimmer to let all of the employees go free in exchange for him.

He told the woman he would remain with her,” a Laredo police officer said. “He acted quite courageously.

Police negotiators were brought in to talk to Grimmer. She reportedly hung up on them repeatedly before letting the manager go unharmed at 7:45 pm.

One of Grimmer's children, 12 year-old Ramie, updated her Facebook page at various times throughout the standoff.

At 6:50pm the girl posted as her work status, "may die today." At 11 pm she made another post that read, "tear gas… seriously."

Negotiators continued to try to talk Grimmer out of the building until she hung up for the last time at 11:45 pm. Several minutes later three gunshots were heard.

According to Fox News, police then raided the building and found Grimmer dead and her two children, Ramie and 10-year old Timothy clinging to life.

Tyga recently stopped by Shade 45's Sway in the Morning show to perform "Rack City" and "Still Got It" for Sway's concert series.

The Young Money rapper also spoke on a tweet he sent out while at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards regarding Jay-Z and Birdman.

"I think what I said was 'Birdman's sitting next to me and Jay-Z's right here.' I said 'Birdman talkin' 'bout baby money' and I thought it was funny," Tyga said. "I remember when I left nobody said anything to anybody. But Kanye said what up to me, Big Sean said what up and Kid Cudi, but nobody else said anything. It was just funny to me."

Sway then asked Tyga what he would do if Young Money went to lyrical war.

"I'm right there," Tyga replied.

Ludacris' daughter, Karma Bridges is now an entrepreneur at the young age of 10, after her father launched a new children's website dedicated to her.

12349114272?profile=original

KarmasWorld.com is an interactive website designed to teach children grades 1-6 math, geometry, science and give lessons about the importance of having good morals. The site features games, stories and original songs with educational lyrics.

12349114665?profile=original

We wanted the site to be educational, fun and full of music that all kids will enjoy, but we also wanted it to teach kids more than just academics,” Ludacris told AllHipHop.com. “The site touches on subjects like, the rewards of hard work and importance of learning manners as well as the idea that doing good deeds for others will bring good into your life – which is the meaning of the word Karma. The music and lyrics, games and stories on the site are all original and were created by me, my daughter and my creative team.”

The site also features a section for teachers and parents that will help them expand lessons taught in the classroom and at home.

Head over to www.KarmasWorld.com with your child and have some fun!
