The recording artist’s third single ‘Dream Big’ flickers positivity, inspiring all to pursue their originality
Brooklyn, New York — October 20th, 2022- An up-and-coming artist, Minna LaFortune, festers promise through the motivational subject matter in her music most. Her new unrelenting single, ‘Dream Big,’ rolls out notions of positivity to a newfound magnitude and places itself within the uniqueness of a select few fresh releases. Self-empowerment and bristling optimism coupled with her versatile voice collide into an impeccable artistic direction and knowing the success of this, LaFortune strategically pushes it to the full in this track.
‘Dream Big’ sounds unique and flowy from start to end. The verses and the chorus intertwine perfectly with the Ska production in the background, delivering an experience unlike any other. There is an uplifting hymn of confidence in her voice that transitions into positive Ska tunes and allows for the listener to truly ‘Dream Big.’
Ska is a musical genre that was created in the 1960s in Jamaica that Minna LaFortune thinks is still viable and relevant to carry her motivational message to her fans and make “Dream Big” a memorable song.
LaFortune’s lyrical prowess resides in her songwriting ability and allows her to write this entire song with only one collaborator. The gifted song writer has a free hand with which she writes these melodic verses and while the artist is continuing to prove her artistic groove to the world with each release, it seems her motivational message will always be carried forward.

ATLANTA (AP) — Fans of the slain rapper Takeoff, a member of the hip-hop trio Migos who was shot and killed a week ago, will gather Friday to celebrate the 28-year-old’s life & musical contributions.
Born Kirsnick Khari Ball, Takeoff was killed Nov. 1 in a shooting outside a Houston bowling alley. A woman & another man were also wounded during the shooting. No arrests have been made.
A celebration will be held at noon Friday in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, according to a news release from Quality Control Music and Motown Records. Free tickets will be available to Georgia residents through Ticketmaster.
“Takeoff was one of the most influential names in modern music whose creativity left a profound impact on music & culture as we know it today,” read the release. Instead of flowers or gifts, the family is asking that people make donations to The Rocket Foundation, which aims to support programs using community-based solutions to stop gun violence, according to its website. The foundation was established in honor of Takeoff.
The 28-year-old Takeoff formed one-third of the Grammy Award-nominated trio Migos along with his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset from suburban Atlanta. Migos broke out nearly a decade ago with the 2013 hit “Versace,” which hit even greater heights in popularity though a Drake remix.
Takeoff was the youngest of the Migos trio & often considered to be its most laidback member. Despite being more reserved, he did a lot of his talking through his rhymes. He had hoped to gain more respect for his lyrical ability through “Only Built for Infinity Links,” an album he released with Quavo just last month.

Aaron Carter was in & out of rehab therapy sessions up until his death & we're told his last scheduled appointment -- which he missed -- was supposed to happen Friday night.
Sources close to Melanie Martin, Aaron's fiancée, tell TMZ ... she was desperately trying to get him help during their off-and-on relationship -- although he mostly kept her in the dark about any recent addiction struggles.
Our sources say Melanie signed up Aaron for outpatient rehab after confronting him back in September. He got a welfare check around that time when fans got worried he was huffing compressed air off-camera.
We're told Aaron agreed to go through the program, with the idea that it would go a long way in helping him regain some custody of their son, Prince -- who's currently under the care of Melanie's mom.
Sources say he stopped the program briefly, but was reinstated last week -- Aaron was supposed to have an online session Friday evening, but was a no-show. When the facility reached out to tell Melanie, she broke the tragic news to them.
Keep in mind, it's possible -- if not likely -- Aaron missed that appointment because he'd already died.
Cops were called to Aaron's Lancaster, CA home Saturday morning for a report of a drowning. The housekeeper found his body in the bathtub & the last known contact with him was 2 AM Friday. Aaron's cause of death is currently deferred by the L.A. County Coroner's Office until toxicology results are returned.
There were multiple cans of compressed air in his bathroom & bedroom ... as well as prescription pills.

Drake & 21 Savage's new album, "Her Loss" is gonna be their loss in court if Vogue gets its way. The magazine's suing over fake covers the rappers used to hype their record.
According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Drake & 21 have been promoting "Her Loss" by posing on what certainly looks like a legit Vogue cover, leading fans to believe the company would drop the special edition soon.
Condé Nast, which owns Vogue, says that isn't the case ... despite Drake giving the brand & editor-in-chief Anna Wintour a shout-out online for getting a blessing.
Condé Nast claims Vogue & Anna "have not endorsed ["Her Loss"] in any way" & have asked multiple times for all promos using the Vogue name to be taken down, but nothing's been done.
The docs say the rappers falsely promoted the Vogue collab on social media & put up posters of the "cover" in major cities.
Condé Nast also claims Drake and 21's teams sent out an email blast about "celebrating Drake's Vogue cover" ... saying street teams across the country would even be handing out copies.
People on the streets allegedly got their hands on the false mags & many claim it's a direct replica of Vogue -- even including a fake pic of Anna posing with Drake.
Condé Nast wants a judge to shut down the use of the Vogue mark immediately & it wants at least $4M in damages.

With each track from his new album, seasoned rapper, LEAKDAKING is able to center around a new strength and transform continually into a memorable songwriter
San Francisco, CA — Sometimes the story narrated on an artist’s album is incomplete without the one preceding it. In the case of LEAKDAKING, who is also known as LDK, this is the case. ‘Strike 2x’ is LDK’s second solo album breaking airplay and dominating stations universally.
A diligent and motivated force, LDK crafted the entirety of his new record alone, guided by only his sheer talent and a pair of headphones. From start to finish, LDK serves a masterpiece and on this full-length record, invites the listener to journey deeper into his psyche. A feeling rarely captured by artists, LDK’s inner monologue stands out in its essence, depicting how rare it is that artists deliver with as much precision as he does on ‘Strike 2x.’
The LP features songs followed by a stream of consciousness. Songs intricately threaded together, constantly shifting moods in their beats and meandering lyrical subjects overflowing with numerous genre influences. Such stirringly woven lyrics echo an intensity which is observed in each word LDK raps, undeniably making his new record his own magnum opus.
The transcendental artist dips into the display of his prowess most when he captures imagery with the detailed lyrical bars he effortlessly pitches over production. The rhyme and diction present pack the verses together till the very last second. The diverse production hooks into Hip Hop and Rap elements and steers from low to up tempo but consistently keeps the ear wanting for more.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa authorities say an 18-year-old sex trafficking victim who pleaded guilty to killing a man she said raped her escaped from a women’s center where she was serving her probation sentence.
Pieper Lewis was seen walking out of the building at the Fresh Start Women’s Center in Des Moines shortly after 6:15 a.m. Friday & at some point that day her GPS monitor was cut off.
A warrant was issued for Lewis’ arrest & the probation report asked for her deferred judgment to be revoked and have her original sentence imposed. She could face up to 20 years in prison.
Prosecutors had called the probation sentence she was given in September merciful for a teen who endured horrible abuse, although some questioned the $150,000 restitution she was ordered to pay. A GoFundMe campaign raised over $560,000 to cover the restitution and pay for her other needs.
Polk County Judge David Porter told Lewis that her probation sentence “was the second chance you asked for. You don’t get a third.”
If Lewis had successfully completed 5 years of closely supervised probation her prison sentence would have been expunged.
Lewis pleaded guilty last year to involuntary manslaughter & willful injury in the June 2020 killing of 37-year-old Zachary Brooks, a married father of 2. Lewis was 15 when she stabbed Brooks more than 30 times in a Des Moines apartment.
Lewis has said that she was trafficked against her will to Brooks for sex multiple times & stabbed him in a fit of rage. Police & prosecutors did not dispute that Lewis was sexually assaulted & trafficked.

Kanye West is going to need to shell out 10 figures if he wants any chance at owning the rights to 'White Lives Matter' ... so says one of the owners of the phrase.
Ramses Ja, who got the rights to 'WLM' last month along with his radio show co-host Quinton Ward, tells TMZ ... they're not looking to sell the trademark, but any potential buyer would have to come up with a $1 billion offer to even make them consider selling.
For Ramses, the most important thing is helping organizations fighting for Black people's rights ... so a $1 billion dollar offer would make them reconsider their desire not to sell, because they could do so much good with that kind of money.
Kanye's been stirring the pot with his 'White Lives Matter' shirts for a month, but he hasn't been able to sell them in America because he doesn't own the rights.
The trademark was acquired by an anonymous listener of Ramses & Quinton's racial justice radio show, "Civic Cipher" ... filing it the same day Ye wore the controversial look at Paris Fashion Week.
The listener transferred ownership over to Ramses & Quinton a few weeks back & it covers the right to sell clothing with those words displayed.
Ramses says their lawyer would take legal action against Kanye, or anyone else if the shirts are sold & the $1 billion price tag would appear to be an even bigger deterrent.
Kanye's no longer a billionaire after losing tons of business partners over his antisemitic rhetoric & Ramses says Ye has not reached out to him about the trademark rights.
In order for Ramses & Quinton to retain their trademark, they need to use it in commerce, they can't just sit on it & based on what Ramses is telling us here, it seems like they're coming up with a unique way to hang on to the rights.
