Brian Bradley aka The Astronomical Kid, showed that he's still got some growing up to do after melting down on X-Factor yesterday.
The 15-year old Brooklyn MC found himself in the bottom two of the competition this week along with 42-year old Stacy Francis. The two were asked to sing/rap so the judges could vote for who they wanted to remain in the competition, but Astro's heart wasn't in it.
"On the real, I really don't wanna perform. I really don't think it's necessary," he said before turning to L.A. Reid. "But I'mma leave it up to you. You're my mentor. Do you think I should perform?"
Reid encouraged him to perform, telling him that he had come a long way in the competition.
After performing Never Can Say Goodbye by The Jackson 5, it was time for Astro to face the judges panel of Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Reid and Nicole Scherzinger.
"Astro I thought you came out and you acted a little bit like a quitter and it upset me," Reid told him. "Because you're too talented and you've come too far than to come out and give a lackluster performance after all the great performances you've given. Is that fair?"
Nicole and Paula were not as harsh, but Cowell didn't hold back.
"I don't like your attitude right now. So, just do me a favor and stop folding your arms, look at me and think about your mom watching this show," Cowell said. "Because you are showing disrespect to your mom, you're showing disrespect to the audience at home, and I don't like people with this attitude."
By now the audience had started to turn against him, but Astro was still defiant.
"No disrespect to you or this show, but I just feel like if you're going to put me in the bottom two, I don't want to perform for people who don't want me here, you know what I'm saying? That's it," Astro said while trying to fight back tears.
After a vote of 3-1, with Scherzinger voting in favor of Stacy, the judges decided to keep Astro although Cowell said he really didn't want to.

Dr. Dre recently surprised the hip hop world when he announced recently that he would be taking a break from music to concentrate on spending more time with his family after completing projects for Kendrick Lamar and Slim The Mobster.
Slim sat down with MTV's Sway recently to talk about that very subject.
"After 27 years and for the time that I've been around, he hasn't beeon out of the studio long," Slim told Sway. "So, let him have a break. He gave us Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg; he gave us a lot of things and it's time. It's some rappers that aint gave us nothing. So, let the man have fun now."
Sway asked Slim if it's possible that Dre could give us Detox before he goes on hiatus.
"I'm hoping, that's what we're shooting for right?" Slim replied.
Slim also confirmed that he's heard tracks with Drake and Jay-Z on them, but he has no idea if they will make the final cut.
"I don't know he's picky. He don't care about that name stuff," The South Central, L.A. rapper said. "It's gotta be appeasing to him and what he likes. And the thing too is people tend to forget that he is not a rapper. He is a producer. That's what his craft is... he makes the music. That's why Eminem's albums sound the way they do because he knows how to work those buttons and people tend to forget that. When you look at the records that he's made over the years he was more on the producing side of it. Those are the biggest records, the Eminem's, the 50 Cent's."

The 22-year old singer went off on a Twitter rant against people who continue to question him about his February 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
“I don’t say sh*t to anybody and everyone feels its cool to attack me. GROWN ADULTS!!!! that sh*t happened three years ago!” he wrote on the social networking site. “I know alot of you wack @ss (OLD) celebrities probably wanna f*ck my ex but talking sh*t on me wont get u far. Brown wasn't done just yet.
"TWITTER GETS WACK REAL FAST! I LOVE ALL THE POEPLE WHO SUPPORT MY MUSIC! i never said i was a LEGEND," he continued. "People please grow up. Ive never dealt with so much negativity in my life! its to the point now that its just ridiculous! IM NOT A POLITICIAN! According to various reports we might be getting closer to finally seeing Chris Tucker reprise the role that put him on the map.
According to Ice Cube, he's working out a deal with New Line Cinema for a fourth Friday movie.
"The 4th Friday movie is in the works. Working out a deal with New Line Cinema," Cube wrote on Twitter yesterday (November 16).
While the rapper/actor/director made no mention of Tucker, Tiny Lister, who played neighborhood bully Deebo in the original 1995 film told TMZ that Tucker and Cube are in discussions.
"There's a lot of conversations that will hopefully go down next week with Ice Cube and Chris Tucker, then we're gonna do one more Friday," Lister said. "This is gonna be the big one."
In August 2010 Cube talked about his desire to have Chris reprise his role as "Smokey."
“Thats my dream. I hope so, I even want Chris Tucker in it. I think thats what everybody wants to see,” Ice Cube stated. “They want to see all of us together. I've been campaigning trying to put that together. Im going to keep campaigning until the idea is so old nobody wants to see it.”
Tucker's last film was 2007's Rush Hour 3. According to Deadline, he has been hesitant to do another Friday movie due to all of the weed smoking depicted in the film, but that seems to have changed if Lister is correct.
Would you like to see Chris Tucker in the new Friday movie?

Money, power and respect are three things 50 Cent has in abundance. He's also shown his philanthropic side recently with his Street King initiative.
XXL recognizes 50's spot in the game by honoring him with five special covers for their December/January double issue. In addition the covers are a tribute to the G-Unit boss' forthcoming fifth studio album, which will drop in January according to the publication.
XXL’s double year-end December/January 2012 issue features five special covers celebrating the5 Faces of 50 Cent, in honor of the superstar’s fifth EP coming this January.
2012 marks 10 years since Fif took over the mixtape game with the release of 50 Cent is the Future. Over the past decade the superstar rapper has expanded his brand further than the average hip-hop artist and the different covers honor the five hats 50 juggles: The rapper, the actor, the businessman, the philanthropist and the bad guy, the latter cover which he shares with good friend and current Welterweight Boxing Champion Floyd Mayweather.
In the cover story, 50 analyzes the current music climate: “I don’t see what I fell in love with,” he says. “So now I gotta make music that reflects what N.W.A made. I have to make music that has the moments that Nas had. I have to make music that has what Biggie offered.”
He also discusses his currently untitled 5th solo album: “For me, I’m still up against what I’ve done,” he says. “So in order to top it, I know it’s a difficult task. You know, I see the bloggers. My audience hasn’t grown with me. They keep saying, “Aw, man, I want the old 50!” ’Cause those people, it would take them on a safari. I was bringing them close enough to the animals, without being able to get hurt. I was taking them into my neighborhood, where you can very well get your ass killed.”
In addition Fif talks Hollywood, feeding kids in Africa through Street King and much more. And 50 and Floyd break down their crew: The Money Team. “The Money Team is money, is power and is respect,” Floyd says. “It’s a lot of us. The team is, The Money Team is worldwide, and it’s growing. It’s growing each day.”

Has Lindsay Lohan's career reached the point of no return? The people over at Gawker certainly think so.
"To Be Successful Again, Lindsay Lohan Must Die," is the title of an article written by Joe Piazza. In it, he describes how Lohan went from bonofide star after the success of the movie Mean Girls, to a celebrity burnout who is known more for her trips to court and jail than her acting.
Lohan has been unable to land a major movie role since 2007's dud, I Know Who Killed Me. The actress is trying to resurrect her career by stripping nude for an upcoming issue of Playboy, but Piazza says even that won't help.
"At this point yet another glimpse at her prematurely aging breasts paying homage to Marilyn Monroe will not reinvigorate Lindsay's sagging brand and career. The only thing that will save brand Lohan from total Kristy McNichol-dom is if she truly channels Monroe and actually leaves us for good," he writes.
Monroe was 36-years old when she died from a drug overdose. Lindsay is just 25-years old, but her hard partying lifestyle has made her look much older.
Robert Downey Jr.'s personal life and career were in a similar downward spiral in the late 90's, yet he has managed to move on from that to become one of Hollywood's most bankable actors.
Can Lindsay do the same thing, or is her career really over?
Cameron Diaz has reportedly moved on from her break up with New York Yankees' player Alex Rodriguez.
According to Us Weekly, the 39-year old Cuban beauty has reportedly started dating Diddy. The pair first hooked up after meeting during Oscars week in 2008. Since then, they have been romantically linked, despite the fact they have been in relationships with other people.
"When she's single, she'll booty call him," a source told the publication.
Although reps for both entertainers say they are "just friends" and have been meeting to discuss a film project, US Weekly writes that they have been spotted on two separate occasions in the last month publicly "making out," unable to keep their hands off each other.
Diddy apparently isn't too worried about his three-year relationship with singer Cassie.
"Diddy's single whenever there's a better offer on the table!," says a friend.
Busta Rhymes has signed with YMCMB according to Rap-Up.com. He joins an already crowded roster of artists. Hopefully he will a high priority for his new family.
Busta also announced that he is teaming with Google to give you his new song "Why Stop Now" featuring Chris Brown for free, and is looking for fans eager to take part of the song's video. You can grab that information from the video below.
