Jay-Z has a problem with an Australian company using his name and lyrics to sell books ... and now he's taking the Aussies to court.
According to a new lawsuit obtained by the Sydney Morning Herald, Jay claims Australian online retailer Little Homie is engaging in misleading and deceptive conduct to hawk a children's book titled "AB to Jay-Z."
In the suit, Hov reportedly claims Little Homie is infringing on his copyright for lyrics from his hit single, "99 Problems."
The book's back cover reads, "If you're having alphabet problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but my ABCs ain't one."
The phrasing is obviously a play on Jay's famous hook, "If you having girl problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one."
Jay's legal team reportedly fired off a cease and desist to Little Homie back in March 2018, but his lawyers claim the retailer kept deliberately using his likeness and lyrics in a flagrant and glaring way.
We've confirmed Jay filed suit against Little Homie earlier this week in Australian Federal Court ... and the book is still for sale on Little Homie's website, marked down to $17.97.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (WJXT) – That darn wind is always causing trouble, especially for a “Florida Man.”
A man pulled over by police in Fort Pierce last month claimed the cocaine residue found inside a Budweiser can along with a crack pipe was blown there by the wind, according to News 6 sister station WPLG.
Police noticed Joseph Zak, 37, appeared to be trying to discard an item when he was stopped for failing to pause at a stop sign, The Smoking Gun reports.
When cops asked Zak about the white residue inside the can which eventually tested positive for crack cocaine, he told them "the police or the wind must have placed it there."
Zak was arrested and jailed.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — As investigators continued to work a scene they believe to be the remains of Homewood teenager Aniah Blanchard just east of Montgomery, Aniah's mother Angela Harris explained what was taken from her family.
After losing her best friend. Harris held on to her daughters best friends telling them, they are "her girls - comfort in a time she needed it most.
“She was my heart,” said Harris.
They shared something no one else in the family did, Angela and Aniah shared a birthday.
They won't share anymore cake or candles, but she's going to continue to share her favorite memories.
“Just her laughter and her smile, that’s what I'm going to miss the most. Just her happiness because she made life better for all of us," said Harris.
Tonight, she’s not only hurting, she’s feeling guilt.
“Maybe not even anything I could have done, but I should have prepared her just a little bit better for things she might have come into contact with," said Harris.
“As parents and children walked away Tuesday night, they were left with one final message.
“It can happen to you, it can happen to your family. So from tonight on, go home make a plan, get some things together, talk to your kids so we can prevent this and start fighting back for this evil that’s in this world," said Harris.
