The National Socialist Movement (NSM) a neo-nazi group and the Ku Klux Klan descended upon Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday November 10, to spread their message hate, but instead were drowned out with humor.
Counter-protesters dressed as clowns brought out squeaky toys, whistles, noise-makers, red noses and flour. Every time the NSM shouted "white power," they were drowned out with chants of "wife power," "Dwight power" and "white flour."
The counter-protest was organized by The Latin American Coalicion.
"The message from us is, you look silly,” Lacey Williams, the youth coordinator for Charlotte’s Latin American Coalición, told WCNC. “We’re dressed like clowns and you’re the ones that look funny. I think it’s really important to have a sense of humor. What they want is for us to fight them. They want us to hit them with hate. We can't become them.”
“Instead of meeting hate with hate, they were going to meet hate with love,” protester Tom Strini "It just shows that more people in this country are in favor of equal and human rights than there are people who want to kick all dark-skinned people out of the country"
“We're just a great big happy melting pot,” said City council member John Autry. “I just wanted to come out here and make sure people understood that I did not support the views of the people behind up here with the microphones."
The protesters were outnumber by the counter-protesters by at least 5 to 1.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the NSM is an organization that specializes in theatrical and provocative protests and is one of the largest and most prominent neo-Nazi groups in the United States.

A couple days ago a Yo Gotti record titled "Have Mercy (Gucci Not Know What He Do)" hit the net. The song was thought to be Gotti's response to Gucci Mane dissing him recently.
As it turns out the record was leaked by the producer of the track, Seneca Cayson A.K.A. Seneca Da Product because he claims he's been producing records for Gotti and not getting paid.
In the 11-minute long video released by Seneca, he runs down a list of songs that he produced that he hints were leaked by Gotti, leaving him out in the cold.
"As a producer when a record gets leaked, I gets no money," Seneca says. "The artist gets the publicity, the fame. They get show money. But me being a producer with a leaked record I gets nothing. It started getting old because every excuse was somebody broke into my Gmail. I was just caught up in a situation where record after record kept leaking. Putting myself and my brand in a situation where I didn't want it to be. The reason for me letting [Have Mercy] go is I just came to a point in my life where I said "you know I done did all this work. I done stayed up lade. T done drove, I done flew. I done did so much and these records are just sitting here.' So, I just got the point where I said 'I'm just gonna let them go.' The Gucci Mane/Yo Gotti situation. The beef or whatever is going on just happened to be the driving point. It just happens this fits right in."
When the record dropped Yo Gotti immediately responded by saying he didn't support it, but Seneca says he has no regrets.
"From a marketing standpoint it was like muah," Seneca says. "I have no regrets with letting them records go. The record in my eyes did nobody any harm To me it was a stimulus package. One thing everybody needs to realize is the producer of today is in a position of not benefiting. You got all these artists that's dropping mixtapes and getting these beats for nothing and benefiting greatly off of these projects. And the art of producing is becoming extinct."
At the end of the interview Seneca leaks another new Yo Gotti song titled "No Trust."

We've seen actors in the past go to extremes by losing or gaining weight for movie roles, but it's still shocking nonetheless.
Christian Bale's transformation for his role in The Machinist had to be seen to be believed. The normally muscular Batman actor withered away to skin and bones. Bale dropped about 62 pounds in 4 months for the 2004 film.
50 Cent similarly lost 60 pounds in nine weeks to play a cancer-stricken football player for his 2011 film All Things Fall Apart.
Matthew McConaughey is the latest to try what can actually be a very dangerous weight loss method for his role in the movie The Dallas Buyers Club.
The Dallas Buyer's Club is the true story of Ron Woodruff, a man who contracted HIV through drug use in the '80s and had to smuggle life-saving medications from Mexico. McConaughey has lost 30 pound so far.

The film, which also stars Jared Leto and Jennifer Garner is due out next April
