Gucci Mane is really not giving a damn about any other rapper right now. In just the last couple of weeks the 1017 Brick Squad boss has taken shots at Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Kenneth "Block" Russell, T.I. and Yung Joc. You can now add Nas to that list as well.
During a studio session for Atlanta rapper Rocko's new Wordplay mixtape, which was being filmed by Hood Affairs, Mr. Laflare walked in and took a dump on Nas' financial troubles.
Rocko was commenting on how well Nas' Life Is Good album did it's first week (149,000 copies sold) with very little promotion when Gucci interrupted.
"Can Nas make 150 blood money first week off a mixtape? Yeah, blood money. Nas f*cked up right now," Gucci said. "Me and you got [cars]. Don't you got the drop top so your brother got the hard top? You got the white one and I'm getting the black one? Nas got one?"
Nas' recent financial troubles have been well documented. In March TMZ reported that the "Ether" rapper owed the IRS $6 million. The government is garnishing his wages via the music publishing organizations BMI and ASCAP until the debt is paid off..
Earlier this month Nas' Georgia home was foreclosed on and sold at auction after he defaulted on the loan from SunTrust bank still owing $507,000.
Kendrick Lamar'sgood kid m.A.A.d city album has been almost universally praised by fans and critics as being not only one of the best albums of 2012, but possibly even a classic. Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne didn't think so and has openly called it "trash."
"Yoooo! Kendrick Lamar is talented with a lot of potential but his album is traaaaash!," Shyne tweeted
Kendrick didn't immediately respond to Shyne's trash talk, but fellow Black Hippy member Schooboy Q did.
Nipsey Hussle took it a step further by saying Shyne can't come back to the West Coast.
Now Kendrick has finally responded, but in typical K. Dot fashion he chose to take the high road.
"I'm not sensitive so I don't really feed into it, that's his opinion," Kendrick told HipHollywood at this week’s Samsung Galaxy Note II event in Los Angeles. "His opinion can't stop what the world thinks already."
At the same event Kendrick told HipHopWired that he considers good kid m.A.A.d city to be "classic worthy."
"It's classic worthy, you know? But it has to stand with the time and have the years behind it. Right now it's classic worthy and people [will] look back and say, 'Kendrick's first album really, really, really outdid everything else and became a classic.' I went into it with intentions of making it a classic, so I'm glad everybody's saying that now."
Do you consider good kid m.A.A.d city to be a classic?
A couple of weeks ago we reported the story about Mystikal and XXX star Pinky potentially filming a sex scene together. Mystikal said a career in porn would be his next move if his upcoming album with Cash Money failed to generate a hit. Pinky replied by saying she would film a scene with the rapper for her website.
In a new interview with VladTV, Pinky said she was unsure of how well Mystikal would perform because a lot of men who try to do porn get freaked out by the cameras and can't get it up.
If Mystikal is up to the the task Pinky describes exactly what the scene would look like.
"Some of the positions I would do with Mystikal in my scene are the typical positions I do in my other scenes. Like doggy style, spoon, up and over, which is when the guy is f*cking you from the back but he's standing up like froggy positions some people call it. And he's up and over your booty slam f*cking you balls deep up and over," she said. "So that with my a$$ oiled up cowgirl position or reverse cowgirl. These are some of the positions that we all do in porn so of course I gotta do all that... put it on him. I speculate he'll be very vocal in the scenes."
2 Chainz appeared on the Wendy Williams Show yesterday for a performance and short interview.
Tity Boi discussed the success of his Based On a T.R.U. Story album, how he plans on staying in the spotlight, his Respect My Vote campaign and addressed criticism about his lyrics.
He also treated the audience to performances of "Birthday Song" and "I'm Different."
The beautiful and very talented Halle Berry sat down with Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday to promote her new movie Cloud Atlas. She discussed meeting Michelle Obama for the first time, her first encounter with the Queen of England, the new Dodge Viper being modeled after her body, the multiple characters she plays in Cloud Atlas and more.
The girl who was seen being brutally beaten by GBE member Lil Reese has responded. Tiairah Marie took to her Facebook account to address the beating and had less than kind words to say about men who beat up females.
Check out what she had to say below.
As we previously reported, Reese, who is a part of Chief Keef's GBE (Glory Boyz Entertainment) and signed to Def Jam Records didn't show any remorse after the video surfaced. He blamed haters trying to tarnish his name by uploading the clip.
The results are in and fans may be surpised by them.
Sports Illustrated asked 180 NFL players to name the most overrated player in the league and two New York Jets take the top 2 spots.
Tim Tebow was named the No. 1 most overrated player with 38 percent of the votes. Mark Sanchez is right behind him at No. 2 getting 8 percent of the votes tying Dallas QB Tony Romo.
It's been a rough year for both Jets quarterbacks. The team is under performing with a record of 3 wins and four losses, placing them third in the AFC East.
"Wow, what are you going to say?" Jets coach Rex Ryan told ESPN. "I don't know how to comment on that. I just know I'm happy they're on my football team -- on our football team. Seems like the Jets always get something, you know?"
Michael Vick was surprisingly placed at No. 4 with 4 percent of the votes. The Philadelphia QB is having a terrible year so far. He's thrown 8 touchdowns, but also has thrown 8 interception. He's also developed a troubling fumble problem. He has a total of four red zone turnovers for the 3-3 Eagles.
"I just have to make good decisions, and I just have to protect the football," Vick told USA Today. "That's been the only thing that's been my problem. Sometimes you get to pressing and make decisions you shouldn't make."
Future Hall of Fame Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is No. 5 on the list. At 37 there's no doubt he's lost a step, but he's still a great player in my opinion.
Obviously other NFL players think Lewis is getting by on his past reputation and not production on the field. This year he has 57 tackles, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble through 7 games.
Boxing trainer Emanuel Steward passed away Thursday in a Chicago hospital at the age of 68.
Steward was hospitalized after undergoing stomach surgery for diverticulitisat a Chicago-area hospital last month. Members of the boxing community gathered for a prayer vigil in Walled Lake, Mich. on Sept. 23rd.
Often called the Godfather of Detroit boxing, Steward became a legend for training championship boxers like Lennox Lewis, Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns and Wladimir Klitschko. He was also a popular ringside commentator for HBO.
"There are no adequate words to describe the enormous degree of sadness and loss we feel at HBO Sports with the tragic passing of Manny Steward," HBO Sports president Ken Hershman told ESPN. "For more than a decade, Manny was a respected colleague who taught us so much not only about the sweet science but also about friendship and loyalty. His energy, enthusiasm and bright smile were a constant presence. Ten bells do not seem enough to mourn his passing. His contributions to the sport and to HBO will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family."
Lennox Lewis was devastated by the news. He issued an emotional statement on his website.
I’m completely devastated by the passing of my long time friend, mentor and trainer Emanuel “Manny” Steward. Manny has helped me get through some of the biggest fights in my career and I only regret that I couldn’t return the favour and see him through his biggest fight.
We’ve maintained a close relationship and the last time we spoke he seemed his usual upbeat self so it was very disturbing to hear about his illness and rapid decline. It is with a heavy heart that realization of what I hoped were just rumors are now in fact true. Manny always told me I was the best, but the truth is, HE was the best and I’m grateful, privileged and honoured to be counted among his many historic successes.
This has been a very tragic year for the boxing world, but today we’ve truly lost one of it’s crown jewels. Manny was giving, selfless, compassionate and stern. He always gave back to the community and never forgot where he came from. He was an institution unto himself and I’m proud to have had him in my corner for so many years.
I’m extremely grateful for the time that I was given with him and he will be severely missed by all who knew and loved him. I’ll miss his smile, his frank no holds barred truthfulness and our discussions on boxing and life. My prayers and condolences go out to his family at this very difficult time.
-Lennox Lewis
Other notable fighters Steward trained at one time or another include Mike McCallum, Jimmy Paul, Michael Moorer, Dennis Andries, Milton McCrory, Duane Thomas, Gerald McClellan, Evander Holyfield, Oliver McCall, John David Jackson, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., Oscar De La Hoya, Naseem Hamed, Jermaine Taylor, Chad Dawson, Miguel Cotto, and Cornelius "K9" Bundrage.
Klitschko has released a statement saying, “Boxing has suffered a tremendous loss with the passing of Emanuel Steward.”
Emanual's sister told TMZ that Steward passed away at 2:46pm with his family and chief doctor surrounding him
"He was at peace and in no pain," she said. "I deeply miss my brother but am overjoyed that he willingly went with God this afternoon. Thank you for your prayers and concern." So far no cause of death has been released.

According to TMZ, the 30-year old rapper, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr,suffered seizure-like symptoms while on a private jet. The jet landed in Texas and Wayne was transported to a local hospital.
Wayne was in the hospital for several hours. His exact diagnosis is unclear at the moment, but he's said to be doing better.
**UPDATE**
TMZ is reporting that Wayne has suffered a second seizure in as many days. He was reportedly on a flight from Texas to LAX when he started convulsing. The flight was immediately diverted to Louisiana where Wayne was admitted to a Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, Louisiana for treatment.
TMZ obtained the pic above that is supposedly of Wayne leaving the hospital.
