Kendrick Lamar Responds To Shyne Calling His 'GKMC' Album Trash "His Opinion Can't Stop What The World Thinks Already" [Video]

Kendrick Lamar's good kid m.A.A.d city album has been almost universally praised by fans and critics as being not only one of the best albums of 2012, but possibly even a classic. Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne didn't think so and has openly called it "trash."

"Yoooo! Kendrick Lamar is talented with a lot of potential but his album is traaaaash!," Shyne tweeted

Kendrick didn't immediately respond to Shyne's trash talk, but fellow Black Hippy member Schooboy Q did.

Nipsey Hussle took it a step further by saying Shyne can't come back to the West Coast.

Now Kendrick has finally responded, but in typical K. Dot fashion he chose to take the high road.

"I'm not sensitive so I don't really feed into it, that's his opinion," Kendrick told HipHollywood at this week’s Samsung Galaxy Note II event in Los Angeles. "His opinion can't stop what the world thinks already."

At the same event Kendrick told HipHopWired that he considers good kid m.A.A.d city to be "classic worthy."

"It's classic worthy, you know? But it has to stand with the time and have the years behind it. Right now it's classic worthy and people [will] look back and say, 'Kendrick's first album really, really, really outdid everything else and became a classic.' I went into it with intentions of making it a classic, so I'm glad everybody's saying that now."
