Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes was on her way to recovery and doing well, but she has now taken a turn for the worse.
In 2013 she was forcibly placed in a mental hospital after a series of bizarre public displays ranging from disheveled wigs, talking to herself and setting fire in the driveway of a stranger.
She was reportedly diagnosed as both schizophrenic and bi-polar. Her parents, Rick and Lynn, were granted temporary conservatorship. When Amanda was released from UCLA Medical Center she went to live with them in California.
Everything was fine for a while. In December 2013 the actress enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Irvine, but was kicked out in August 2014 for alleged drug use. On September 28, 2014 she was arrested for her second DUI.
TMZ reports that she was was under the influence of Adderall at the time, which had been prescribed by her doctor.
With her parents no longer having conservatorship over her Amanda left California and moved back to New York City in early October. Upon arrival she had a bandage on her face.
In the last week she has been caught shoplifting twice. Once at Barneys, the second incident happened at Pookie & Sebastian. Witnesses report seeing her talking to herself and acting erratically.
TMZ obtained footage of Amanda inside Pookie & Sebastian. She can be seen dancing and putting her hands all over her bodyguard,
Earlier today she started tweeting about her father sexually abusing her and insisted she wasn't crazy.
Her mother issued a statement via E! News denying her daughter was ever abused.
"I am heartbroken today for my husband of 47 years," Lynn Bynes' attorney Tamar Arminak tells E! News exclusively in a statement on her behalf. "Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually. These accusations are absolutely horrible and could not be further from the truth! These allegations stem from Amanda's mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality. It saddens me beyond belief that my husband's character could be slandered in such a way."
Amanda later recanted the statement about being molested. Instead she blamed the microchip her father had placed in her brain for the Twitter outburst.
Amanda's parents are now desperately searching for her so they can put her back in treatment. However, TMZ reports that Amanda is fleeing NYC to avoid them.
She was spotted trying to buy a plane ticket at LaGuardia airport today, but was asked to leave after screaming at a ticket agent. She left and headed for JFK airport.
This is really a sad situation that could end up badly if Amanda doesn't get help.
**UPDATE**
Amanda flew to Los Angeles on Friday, October 10, where she thought she would be meeting with her parents and their lawyers at The London Hotel. Instead, her parents had instructed the car service she was using to take her directly to a Pasadena hospital, according to TMZ.
She was greeted there by doctors and the family's attorney Tamar Arminak.
The actress was placed on a 72 hour 5150 psychiatric hold, which can be extended to 14 days. In the meantime her parents are hoping a judge will grant them another conservatorship, giving them the legal right to manage their daughter's financial affairs and daily life due to her mental limitations

Drake is facing new accusations of threatening a female.
Internet model Shay G claims, Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, started sending her angry text messages after she posted photos on the internet of expensive purses he purchased for her.
The Young Money recording artist allegedly texted Shay saying that if he ever saw her anywhere, she's "getting run up outta there," according to TMZ.
The model was alarmed enough to have her dad contact Drake, who told him to leave her alone. Shay reported the situation to police in Arizona and an investigation has been launched.
Earlier this week Houston stripper Jhonni Blaze told police that members of Drake's entourage threatened her life after a sexual rendezvous. Blaze later retracted the claim and apologized publicly to the rapper.

Jefe Wine, the man who allegedly co-stars in an unreleased sex tape with Iggy Azalea has just thrown a curve ball nobody saw coming.
TMZ reports that Jefe has filed for divorce from the rapper, claiming they have been common law married since 2008, when they lived together in Houston, Texas.
According to TexasLawHelp.org, "To have a common law marriage in Texas, the couple must: Agree to be married, Live together in Texas as husband and wife, and. Tell other people that they are married."
Iggy did live with Jefe for a period of time, but denies agreeing to anything that would have made them common law married. Her reps told TMZ that Jefe, real name, Maurice Williams, is simply looking to make a quick buck at her expense
This will ultimately be decided in a Houston in court. If a judge rules that the marriage is valid all music the "Fancy" hit maker wrote and assets gathered during that time period will become community proper and be split 50/50. The monetary value of the recordings could reach $1 million or more.
Jefe has asked a judge to prevent Iggy, real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly, from selling any assets accumulated during their marriage until the divorce is settled.
**UPDATE** October 11
If Iggy is concerned about Jefe's marriage claims she's not showing it. TMZ caught up with the 24-year old Australian rapper Friday, October 10, at an airport in Nashville to get her reaction to the divorce filing.
"That's somebody I dated for like six months when I was seventeen," she said. "I haven't heard from this person in years."
Iggy added that at no point did she and Jefe ever declare they were husband and wife. As her reps previously stated, she suspects this is all about money.

The second season of Dream School is underway on Sundance TV. The 50 Cent-executive produced docu-series provides celebrity mentors for troubled teens, giving them the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in life.
The Grio recently say down with 50 to talk about why this season is different from the first.
"The way season one went with thirteen of the fifteen kids participating graduating, it's exciting," 50 said. "Changing from Los Angeles to New York, the tones of the kids are a little different. It definitely put them in the environments that I'm familiar with. That made me comfortable talking to them because all of the areas they're coming out of I've been there."
This season's mentors include Chuck D of Public Enemy, attorney Gloria Allred, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, restauranteur David Chang, screenwriter Cliff Dorfman, survival expert Les Stroud, actor Dean Winters and educator LouAnne Johnson.
Next season 50 hopes to have Jay Z and Dr. Dre on board.
"[Encouraging kids to finish high school] is really important. This is why I'm encouraging Jay and Dr. Dre to be on my season three," the music icon explained. "To get them here to talk to kids because they need to have the kids actually see them and feel the reality of who they are. And not just the persona."

Adrian Peterson is facing more legal problems after admitting to using marijuana while out on bond in his child abuse case, according to ESPN.
Peterson is accused of felony child abuse for whipping his 4-year old son. He turned himself in to Montgomery County, Texas authorities on September 13. The Minnesota Vikings running back posted bond of $15,000 and was released the same day. He was ordered to submit to drug tests as a condition of his release.
Peterson made a court appearance Wednesday, October 8. While submitting a urine test he admitted to "smoking a little weed."
Prosecutors have filed paperwork seeking to have AP's bond revoked and want him re-arrested for violating the terms of his bond.
Peterson hasn't been allowed to play in an NFL game since the allegations of child abuse came to light last month. He's been placed on the NFL's exempt list. If convicted of the charges he could face up to two years in prison.
