Miley Cyrus made us forget about Hannah Montana as she twerked, exposed just about every part of her body and had a couple of hit records, "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball."
Beyonce kept us talking with her Super Bowl performance, world tour and surprise album.
Kanye West was in the headlines almost weekly. He ranted during interviews and concerts, got engaged to Kim Kardashian, who gave birth to their first child, North West. Yeezy signed an endorsement deal with Adidas and released his Yeezus album.
We also mourned the passing of former South African President Nelson Mandela.
