More than a dozen plastic bags of cocaine were found in the Gucci purse belonging to a member of the pop group Girlicious after the entertainer and another man were pulled over for speeding, authorities said Wednesday.

Natalie Mejia, 21, of Diamond Bar was being held Wednesday in Glendale City Jail on suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale or distribution, said Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz. Also arrested on the same charge is 28-year-old Peter Asencio of Burbank.

Natalie Mejia

They were pulled over at Victory Boulevard and Winchester Avenue near an onramp to the Ventura Freeway around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday after an officer noticed a 1998 Ford Mustang speeding through traffic, Lorenz said.

Mejia, who was a passenger in the car and had just dined at a restaurant in Burbank, was heading to the airport and late for a flight, police said.

Police determined that Asencio was driving with suspended driver's license.

A search of the car turned up the bags containing what appeared to be cocaine in Mejia’s Gucci purse, Lorenz said. Mejia told officers the drugs did not belong to her and that she did not know how they got into her purse.
Lorenz said a preliminary investigation found the drugs may have been placed in her purse by Asencio, although investigators are trying to determine Mejia's role through further interviews and forensics testing.

Mejia posted $30,000 bail Wednesday afternoon and is due in court April 15.

"You see this day in and day out," Lorenz said. "I certainly hope that drugs are not a part of her life, because drugs, quicker than anything else, will destroy a person's career, their family and their life. I hope there’s an awakening if she’s not culpable for those drugs.

Chris Brown's career is at a crossroads. The R&B singers popularity has taken a major hit since his assault of then girlfriend Rihanna.

It hasn't worked obviously because he's just released what amounts to a desperation plea to his fans.

In the audio he asks fans to keep him relevant. He alludes to the fact that some radio stations aren't playing his music.

Breezy say's he's a better person now, but he can't be an underground mixtape artist and needs help from his supporters,

The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive

Despite naysayers' talk that the duet album between T-Pain and Lil Wayne will never happen, Mr. Pain says the project is very much still alive, just on hold.

"The T-Wayne album, we're actually gonna wait until he gets out," Pain said about Weezy's jail time. "He has so much going on. He has Rebirth out right now. I don't wanna interrupt that. We just gonna wait until he gets out to really get in on that. We recorded a bunch of songs. But, right now, it's time for him and his personal sh--. We definitely got an album's worth of material, but it's only an album's worth. It's nothing to pick from. We just got an album. We can put out whatever we feel like and say, 'Hey, this is T-Wayne's album,' or we can actually try to make it good. Like we're actually trying to make an album and say, 'This is the good T-Wayne album.' Rather than just record 12 songs and say, 'Here you go, mutha----as! I know you want it. You gonna buy it anyway, just 'cause you think it's good.' "

Pain, who always has a joke up his sleeve or in his top hat, had a lighthearted response when asked what he thought of his supergroup teammate having to go to prison.

"It happens, man," the singer said. "People go to jail. That's something he's gotta go through. I'm happy it's not f---ing 10 years. That's just something that's going on. I know his commissary [prison store] is ridiculous. He's got so much money in his commissary. You think Baby is gonna let him sit up in there and eat Doritos? Wayne got [his food] coming with steaks. ... I know what's going on there.

"Young Money is still there also. He's in the studio 24/7," Pain added. "It's gonna be like Tupac. You still gonna get 1,000 songs from Wayne. You ain't gonna miss nothing. It's gonna be like he never went to jail. I'm pretty sure they're gonna put out a gang of songs. I'm pretty sure they're gonna do a 'Free Lil Wayne' campaign. That's how it goes."

Ludacris And Bill O'Reilly End 7 Year Beef

Ludacris and conservative talk show host Bill O'Reilly have ended their long running beef.

According to RadarOnline, it happened at a recent event the two were both attending.

Ludacris decided enough was enough and approached the host of Fox's 'O'Reilly Factor' to settle their differences.

"The first thing I said to him was, 'I want to meet the guy who has had so much to say about me, but knows absolutely nothing about me'," says Ludacris.

"I identified that I wanted to speak to him when I saw his name on the guest list. I looked at what table he was on, and I walked my a** straight to that table.

He wasn't expecting to see me, at all. The look on his face when he saw me approaching... priceless."

The two had been feuding ever since O'Reilly got Pepsi to drop Ludacris as a spokesperson seven years ago.

Bill cited such Luda lyrics as "I'm DUI, hardly ever caught sober, and you about to get ran the f--- over. Grab the peels, cuz we robbin' tonight. Beat the s--- outta security. We startin' a fight."

At the time O'Reilly called Pepsi ''immoral'' for giving exposure to the top-selling rapper.

Alls well that ends well however, as the pair have patched up their differences and even hosted a charity event together recently.

Ludacris added, "I prayed since the very first moment that Bill said something about me on television that I would be able to meet him in person.

"It took about seven years for that to happen, but it finally happened. And the joy that came over me, well, it was outstanding."

There may be more minority babies born this year in the U.S. than white babies for first time ever.

It could be a "tipping point" that propels our population toward minorities becoming the U.S. majority over the next 40 years.

In 1990, 37% of children born in the U.S. were minorities, but by 2008 it was 48%. This means the country is on track to become a minority-majority country by the middle of the century, according to Kenneth Johnson, of the University of New Hampshire. He researched many of the racial trends in a paper being released Wednesday, the week before the 2010 population count, which begins in earnest next week when more than 120 million U.S. households receive census forms in the mail.

The baby trend doesn't hold true everywhere, however. In New York City, Manhattan and Brooklyn kids are more likely to be white, he said.

In 1990, Manhattan's youth population of kids under 20 was 25% white. But by 2008, census data estimates 37 percent of the borough's kids were white.

It's a similar story in Brooklyn: In 1990, 29 percent of the borough's kids were white. But 2008, it went up to 33 percent.

"The number of white children went up, while the number of black and Hispanic children went down," Johnson said, noting that it's hard to say why because there are so many competing demographic factors within New York City.

But the one other main place in the U.S. that's becoming more white is Fayette County, Tennessee, in suburban Memphis. The change there is because of suburban sprawl, Johnson said.

DMX appeared in court for the gazillionth time yesterday -- and went absolutely ballistic after the judge left the courtroom.

Visibly and audibly ticked that a photog was allowed in court, a fidgety DMX waited for his hearing to begin -- and after it was over, he went off.

Looking right at the camera, DMX starting raving "I'm the only one got arrested today ... f**king c**ksuckers do it every time man ... I get my rights violated but I gotta be quiet about it ... f**king bitch man."

The rapper is currently being held on no bond -- he'll be back in court March 16.

G-Unit's Tony Yayo has released just one major label album in 2005's 'Thoughts Of A Predicate Felon', but that hasn't stopped him from making money. He talks to VladTV about some of the keys to his success..

Besides the show money he receives from touring with 50 Cent. Yayo has his hands involved in several other business ventures.

He's working on his website, RockstarGroupie and his new production company with Doe Pesci who produced all of 'GunPowder Guru'.

He also has a clothing coming out coming out called 'Purple Rock'.

Tony finds it hard to believe that artists like Jay-Z and Fat Joe let their artists basically starve by not paying them fair tour money. He cited Remy Ma and Young Gunz as examples.

B.G. Rejoins Cash Money Records

With the addition of Cory Gunz to the stable, it has been reported that rapper B.G. has returned home and signed back with Cash Money Records.

Although money troubles in the past caused a rift in the business and personal relationship between the rapper and Birdman, it looks like the time away has allowed B.G. to get his business mentality up to par to ensure that what happened to him before won't happen again.

It feels like the Hot Boyz reunion is coming a lot closer as days progress.

Already building his relationship back with Mannie Fresh, Juvenile and Lil Wayne, the vintage Cash Money army is starting to make their return.

Speaking with HipHopWired, B.G. spoke on becoming a free agent after the release of Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood and what it would take to be back with Cash Money and Birdman.

If the numbers right, if it makes sense.”

He also spoke on how Baby attempted to help B.G. be released from Atlantic Records.

E1 called Atlantic and asked them what they doing with me. What's the hold up on B.G's album? He offered them a deal, baby offered them a deal to and they turned him down. I guess, they don't want to see me win or not. Everything worked out perfect, it couldn't be better.”

Similar to the possibility of L.O.X. doing business with Diddy again, let's hope that B.G. has smartened up since then and won't make the same mistake.
