Video After The Jump

Twitter has become the hot spot for news, entertainment information and the occasional rap beef. One person who knows how powerful the social networking site has become is 50 Cent. With nearly 4.8 million followers, the G-Unit CEO has seen firsthand how much influence a single tweet can have.

In a recent interview with HipHollywood, 50 breaks down what tweeting is all about.

"What a tweet is -- it's spontaneous. I think it's entertainment," Fif tells HipHollywood. "For an entertainer, you're entertaining the people that are there. It's not necessarily your thought process or who you actually are. It's not a representation of your character if you're conscious of what your audience wants."

Recently 50 got into a war of words with radio host Laura Ingraham and Bill O'Reilly over comments he made about Fox News' negative coverage of Chris Brown's recent appearance on The Today Show.

"I've seen things that I wrote on twitter on the national news," 50 said. "It will make you slow down a bit when you see it's covered that widely. When you can get national coverage from your cell phone wherever you're at it says something. I don't know exactly what it says, but it says something."

Follow 50 Cent at twitter.com/50Cent so you don't miss out on up to the minute information on what's going on in his world. I promise you there's never a dull moment.

After taking some time to think about it, 50 Cent has decided against leaking his 'Detox' collaboration with Dr. Dre titled "The Psycho."

Last night 50 said on twitter that he would be releasing the record today at 2pm, but changed his mind today, citing Dre's positive influence on his career.

"I wouldn't leak dre's record he has done nothing but help me in my career. jimmy has always been supportive of me," 50 tweeted today.

While things appeared to have cooled down a bit, Fif did sound off on the leak of his record "I'm On It."

"I don't know how I can record 41 song for my album and the one song I give interscope leaks But I don't care its good music," he wrote.

Kim Kardashian's entire career has been based off of her good looks and killer body. What happens if that gets taken away from her?

The reality tv star/model was recently diagnosed with psoriasis, an incurable skin disease that affects 7.5 million Americans according to The National Psoriasis Foundation. The disease causes red, flaky patches to appears all over a person's body, but usually not the face.

While certainly not life threatening, you could see how this could negatively impact a model's career.

Psoriasis!? I cannot have psoriasis,” Kim told her dermatologist on Sundays episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. "People don't understand the pressure on me to look perfect. When I gain a pound it's in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots. I have to wear a sports bra and I have this rash all over my stomach. What will the producers say? In a photoshoot they can just photo-shop it out but this is on video. They can't hide this."

Kim got the hereditary autoimmune disease from her mom Kris, who has had it for 25 years.

If Kim K can't model what would she do for a living?

KarmaloopTV caught up with Jay Rock on the eve of the release of his new album 'Follow Me Home' to chop it up about what he's been up to lately.

The Watts, California rapper talked about his group Black Hippy, which consists of himself, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar. Jay said the group is working on it's debut album at the end of 2011 or early 2012.

He also talked about gangs being a positive influence on the youth.

"I think with gangs it could be a positive outlook because all it takes is for the older guys to come school these younger guys on the right road," Jay said. "I got big homies that have been through the same things that I've been through and they made it out and changed their life. And they come back and snatch young cats up and lecture them and let them know this is the right way to do it. That's what a gang is supposed to -- family protecting family."

'Follow Me Home' is in stores now.

50 Cent's frustration with Interscope Records reached it's boiling point this morning (July 27).

In a series of tweets the G-Unit boss revealed that he would not be releasing his highly anticipated album this year as had previously been planned. He also said he would be leaking his much talked about 'Detox' collaboration with Dr. Dre titled "The Psycho" today at 2pm.

"Man I'm not releasing a album i can't believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans," 50 wrote. "I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many. I LOVE DRE but I'm putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00 #SK."

50 said recently that he's worked harder on this new album than on his previous four in an attempt to best his debut 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin.' Some who have heard it like Havoc of Mobb Deep, say it's his best work yet. So it's quite understandable that he wanted his fans hear it sooner than later.

What do you think of 50's latest announcement?

In the days following Friday's deadly bombing and shootings in Norway that killed 76 people, a clearer picture of accused killer Anders Behring Breivik has emerged.

Described by Norwegian authorities as a Christian fundamentalist with right-wing views, Breivik wrote a 1,500-page manifesto titled "2083: A European Declaration of Independence."

In it he rants against Muslim immigration to Europe and against the liberal Norwegian politicians who allow it.

He also places blame on hip hop for negatively influencing European youth to try drugs, become violent and get caught up in a "ghetto/ethnic/multiculturalist lifestyle" according to the Philadelphia City Paper.

Check out part of his rant against hip hop below.

I personally know of more than 50 individuals who started with hashish and marijuana as a direct result of the hip-hop mentality. Many of these went from light drugs to heavier drugs such as amphetamine and even heroin. I personally know that more than 20 individuals, from my “hip-hop community”, have become severe drug addicts and some of them are probably dead today. I estimate that of the 20 000 drug addicts in Norway, approximately 30-40% have initially been significantly influenced by the hip hop mentality.

I remember my active years in the hiphop movement as a continuous and intense orgy of misconduct, manifested primarily through tagging and piecing. During my two most active years at the age of 15 and 16, I estimate that myself (Morg), Richard (Spok) and Jon Trygve (Wick) inflicted property damage (through bombing raids - “tagging”) of approximately 2 million Euro combined of which I inflicted aprox. 700 000. The three of us were the most active of a loosely distributed “tagger force” numbering approximately 1000 at the time. This was during a primary peak of Hiphop, in 1994-1995. I estimate that the numbers of taggers have been reduced substantially since then and hover at around 200 individuals today in Oslo.

As for the fate of the hiphop industry; banning it altogether is not the optimal solution as it would cause overwhelming short term outcry and it would eliminate positive aspects as well. However, I believe significant restrictions in the rights of media companies which will include censoring negative and destructive lifestyles. An alternative is to limit such marketing to future “liberal zones”. Certain positive aspects of the hiphop movement should be allowed to survive such as break dance and positive genres of the music as long as it positively influences the self confidence of European youths and only if it can be re-defined as a European tradition and not portrayed as a ghetto/ethnic/multiculturalist lifestyle.

It is beyond all doubt that the political obstacles to solving these core issues are so comprehensive and enormous that only a revolution (initiated by a military coup) would present a climate where these issues can be properly addressed and solved.

Breivik has admitted to setting off a bomb in Oslo and a subsequent attack on Utoya Island that killed 76 people total. The death toll was originally estimated to be 93.

Breivik told his lawyer he was "a little bit surprised" that his plan had "succeeded in his mind,"

According to the Wall Street Journal Breivik may be charged with crimes against humanity, which carries a maximum sentence of only 30 years in prison.

Keri Hilson and Amy Winehouse look-a-like

Keri Hilson is being criticized today for posting a picture on twitter of her and an Amy Winehouse look-a-like partying.

Hilson uploaded the picture just hours before Winehouse's funeral.

"*gasp* Amy Winehouse resurrected to party w/ me!!! (seriously, uncanny resemblance)," Hilson wrote on the social networking site.

The post drew an immediate angry response from fans, who viewed it as being insensitive.

Hilson later apologized to anyone that had been offended.

"Come on, I mean no harm. All due respect. But really the resemblance freaked me out. This was simply the best tribute ever. #RIPAMYWINEHOUSE," Keri wrote. "I apologize 2 anyone who might've taken it the wrong way. As a fan, I thought it was cool that she dressed up to honor Amy. I had no ill intent, but I understand how it appears insensitive...my bad twitterville. For real. Good night :)."

Winehouse was found dead Saturday (July 23) at her London home. An autopsy on the singer was inconclusive. She was 27-years old.
