OG Ron C has announced the formation his new label Chopped Not Slopped Entertainment, a partnership with DJ Michael "5000" Watts to launch in 2012. During an interview with The Source, the chopped and screwed pioneer revealed that there are nine DJs signed to the imprint and that it’s intended to put an official stamp on slowed and throwed releases.

“Me and Mike Watts just got back together to form a new label for 2012. After 15 years, we’re doing it again,” he said. “So in 2012, we decided that we’re going to start the new label, called Chopped Not Slopped Entertainment. And what it basically is is it’s giving the seal and approval of chopped ‘n screwed music, saying that if it didn’t come from this label, it’s not official. It’s certified. So if you don’t see that logo on there, that Chopped stars logo on there, it’s not official.”

DJs signed to the label include OG Ron C, DJ Michael Watts, DJ Candlestick, Mr. Rogers, DJ Chose, DJ Mankind, DJ Hollygrove, DJ Lil Steve and DJ Ruckus.

Rihanna worked her tail off in 2011 and it paid off big time. The singer's "Loud" tour grossed an incredible $90 million dollars, placing it at No. 9 among all tours for the year.

Riri battled through a brief hospitalization in November due to severe exhaustion to complete the 78 city, 6-month tour, which hit North America, South America and Europe.

The trek bested tours by heavy hitters such as Sade, Paul McCartney, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. The only female artist with a higher 2011 tour gross was Taylor Swift, who raked in $104 million to place 4th on the list.

Only one rap tour managed to crack the top 25. Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch The Throne" trek grossed $48.3 million to earn the No. 23 spot.

Video After The Jump

This is one of the stand out tracks on French Montana and Waka Flocka's Lock Out mixtape. It's a remake of Mobb Deep's classic "Hell On Earth."

Of course the track wouldn't have been complete without a verse from at least one member of the Mobb. Illuminati P does his thing.

It's that time again where we swear off bad habits heading into the new year. MTV caught up with several stars recently to find out what they plan on doing differently in 2012.

"Ah man, so many. So many new things to work on myself. I just got to be conscious, more conscious of myself," 50 Cent explained. "And try and be a better judge of character with others."

Chicago rapper Common is looking to take his game to a new level. "I haven't thought deeply on it, but I would just say I wanna be greater at everything I do. Greatness."

Jill Scott plans to hit the road in the new year. "I'd like to visit Europe more often next year."

French Montana told MTV there's no need to change something that's not broken "For me, definitely not to change," he said. "Because everything I've been doing been working so far."

"My New Year's resolution is to quit smoking ... it's a very dirty, filthy habit," said Gym Class Heroes singer Travie McCoy. "But not [only] is it my New Year's resolution to quit, but it's also my New Year's resolution to get my friends to quit as well."

What's your New Year's resolution for 2012?

Video After The Jump

BETHLEHEM, West Bank — The annual cleaning of one of Christianity's holiest churches deteriorated into a brawl between rival clergy Wednesday, as dozens of monks feuding over sacred space at the Church of the Nativity battled each other with brooms until police intervened.

The ancient church, built over the traditional site of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem, is shared by three Christian denominations — Roman Catholics, Armenians and Greek Orthodox.

Wednesday's fight erupted between Greek and Armenian clergy, with both sides accusing each other of encroaching on parts of the church to which they lay claim.

The monks were tidying up the church ahead of Orthodox Christmas celebrations in early January, following celebrations by Western Christians on Dec. 25. The fight erupted between monks along the border of their respective areas. Some shouted and hurled brooms.

Palestinian security forces rushed in to break up the melee, and no serious injuries were reported. A Palestinian police spokesman would not immediately comment.

A fragile status quo governs relations among the denominations at the ancient church, and to repair or clean a part of the structure is to own it, according to accepted practice. That means that letting other sects clean part of the church could allow one to gain ground at another's expense. Similar fights have taken place during the same late-December cleaning effort in the past.

Tensions between rival clergy at the church have been a fact of life there for centuries and have often been caught up in international politics.

In the 1800s, friction between the denominations at the church — each backed by foreign powers — became so fraught that Russian Czar Nicholas I deployed troops along the Danube to threaten a Turkish sultan who had been favoring the Catholics over the Orthodox.

Those disagreements threaten the integrity of the church itself, which was originally built 1,500 years ago and parts of which have fallen into disrepair. Although the roof has needed urgent work for decades, and leaking rainwater has ruined much of the priceless artwork inside, a renovation has been delayed all these years by disagreements among the denominations over who would pay.

Only recently, the Palestinian Authority brokered an agreement to move ahead with replacing the roof, and officials hope work will begin in 2012.
