50 Cent is a boss. The G-Unit mogul has demonstrated that many times through his various business ventures over the years which include his SMS Audio headphone line, Cheetah Vision Films, Street King energy shot, G-Unit and G-Note record labels, G-Unit Publishing and much more.
When it's time to take control of a situation 50 is always in boss mode except when he's working with Eminem. During a recent conversation with MTV News, the "My Life" rapper admits he's comfortable sitting back and letting Slim Shady take control.
Because Eminem took a chance when he signed the Southside Jamaica Queens emcee and has been supportive throughout his entire career, 50 knows he has his best interests at heart and trusts Em's judgement.
"I get real comfortable when I got Em around." 50 said. "Because the pressure is off of me. Now I get a chance to be the understudy and let him be the boss of the actual situation and run the show. You gotta follow the chain of command and play your position at different points. In all those other spaces and times you run into me I'm the boss and everybody around me in under me. It's comfortable not to be in those situations and let it be him. Whenever he's around he's running the show."
"I'm not even sure what he's talking about. I just came here to hang out," Eminem joked. "I always wanna be there to kind of executive produce or oversee things. Fif knows what he's doing so I don't really gotta tell him much. At this point in his career he's done enough where he just brings me the records and I always wanna just give my opinions."
50 added that Em has helped him out a lot on his upcoming Street King Immortal album, which will be released on February 26, 2013.
"He's been a big help on this album. I can't accept constructive criticism from someone if I'm not sure what their intentions are," Fif explained. "But when someone's been in my corner my entire musical career — I'll say this, Dre's done wonderful things for me in my career, but the idea of working with 50 Cent came from Eminem."

A joke that Jamie Foxx made while onstage during the 2012 Soul Train Awards has gotten him in hot water with some religious groups.
"It's like church over here. It's like church in here. First of all, give an honor to God and our lord and savior Barack Obama. Barack Obama," Foxx said on the show, which aired on November 25th.
Many in the audience found humor in the joke, but not Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in southern California and author of "The Purpose-Driven Life."
“That sent shivers up my spine,” Warren said, according to The Examiner. “There’s a word for that – it’s called blasphemy. It’s wrong. That’s called creating an idol. Idolatry is forbidden by the first two commandments of the Ten Commandments."
Bill Donahue, the president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights in the United States issued a statement regarding Foxx's comments.
"Foxx’s epiphany is startling. It just goes to show that even though Obama did not succeed in stopping the oceans from rising (as he promised to do in 2008), he did succeed in convincing Jamie Foxx, and no doubt legions of others, that God exists," Donahue wrote. "Whether God can survive an ACLU lawsuit accusing him of violating church and state grounds remains to be seen."
Donahue also points to a 2011 interview where a reporter asks Foxx what God means to him. He responded by saying: “What does God mean to me? I don’t know, what does he mean to you?"
Fox News also got in on the debate during a recent segment on the Sean Hannity Show.
"The intellectually superior don’t need the crutch of religion," said radio host and Fox News commentator Mary Walter. "Those of us clinging to our guns and religion… we’re somehow less evolved. It’s about a societal religion as opposed to a church religion, because if the government gives you everything, the government becomes your religion, and he’s our leader.”
Foxx has responded to the uproar in an interview with ET's Nancy O'Dell.
"I'm a comic," Foxx says, "[and] sometimes I think people get a little too tight. And, it's getting a little tougher for us comedians [because] some people take it and want to make a huge story out of it, but it's a joke."
Is this all a big fuss over nothing? Or do the religious groups have a point?

In a case that is being compared to the Trayvon Martin killing, 17-year old Jordan Davis was shot to death on Friday at a Jacksonville gas station after he and several friends got into an argument with 45-year old Michael Dunn.
Michael Dunn
Dunn had pulled into the gas station with his girlfriend. While she was inside the station he got into a heated argument with a group of black teens in an SUV after he asked them to turn down their music.
Dunn claims he saw a gun in the SUV and felt threatened. He opened fire on the vehicle letting off eight shots, two of which struck and killed Davis.
Dunn, who is white is represented by attorney Robin Lemonidis. She told CNN that her client may seek protection under the state’s controversial Stand Your Ground Law.
"Self defense applies because Mr. Dunn was threatened," Lemonidis said. "We can't say what the defense will be at this stage … but Stand Your Ground is a possibility."
There were no guns found inside the teens' car, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Ron Davis, the victim's father, is devastated. He said there was no justifiable reason for Davis to shoot at the SUV his son was riding in.
"He did something that there was no defense for," the father said of the suspect.
Ron added that his son was a good kid with no gang affiliation. He said the teens initially thought the gun Dunn pulled out was fake. When they realized it wasn't they tried to back up their vehicle before being caught in the gunfire.
Lemonidis says the four teens in the SUV were threatening to kill her client.
"Kill that motherf*cker. That motherf*cker's dead. You dead b*tch," are some of the threats that were shouted at Dunn according to Lemonidis. "And he sees a shotgun coming over the rim of the SUV, which is higher than his Jetta. All he sees are heavily tinted front windows that are up and the back windows that are down. And the car has at least four black men in it. And he doesn't know how old anybody is. He doesn't know anything, but he knows a shotgun when he sees one."
Lemomidis says any comparisons to the Trayvon Martin case are preposterous.
"That's ridiculous. Michael is not a vigilante," the attorney said. "He's a brilliant software developer. It was never his intention to kill anyone. There are no comparisons to the Trayvon Martin situation. [Dunn] is devastated and horrified by the death of the teen."
Dunn was arrested at his home on Saturday and charged with murder and attempted murder. He remains in jail after being denied bond on Monday.
What do you make of this case? Is it similar to what happened to Trayvon Martin?
