Video After The Jump

2016 XXL Freshman rapper Lil Yachty says and does things his own way. The 19-year old has built a solid base of fans that probably weren't yet born when hip hop icons, The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, were on top of the game.

That might explain why they didn't raise much of a fuss when in August Yachty told Billboard he couldn't name 5 songs from either of them.

"But if I'm doing this my way and making all this money," he reasoned at the time. "Why should I do it how everybody says it's supposed to be done?"

12352427467?profile=original

Lil Boat did receive criticism from Biggie and 2Pac fans, but that obviously didn't bother him because during his recent appearance on Pitchfork's "Over/Under" he said The Notorious was overrated.

Check out Yachty's complete "Over/Under" list below and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Overrated:

The Notorious B.I.G.

Fake I.D.'s

Taxes

Underrated:

Pirating

Tom Hanks

50 Shades of Grey

Having a Big Ego

Nicki Minaj opened up about her abortion in recent interview, saying she thought she "was going to die". "I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I'd ever gone through," she continued. Minaj became pregnant when dating upcoming rapper Banknote Mitch, an older guy from Charlotte, N.C., while visiting family. The decision to abort has "haunted me all my life," but she stands behind her decision: "It'd be contradictory if I said I wasn't pro-choice. I wasn't ready, "I didn't have anything to offer a child." Minaj alludes to the abortion in The Pink Print single "All Things Go," rapping, "My child with Aaron (@Banknotemitch) would have been 16, any minute."Minaj touched on the abortion early in her career, on "Autobiography." But she "didn't expect anyone to hear."

In the third verse of "Autobiography," she alludes to people telling her she wasn't ready to have a baby, and asks for her unborn child's forgiveness: "Please, baby, forgive me, mommy was young/ Mommy was too busy, trying' to have fun/ Now I don't pat myself on the back, for sending you back/ 'Cause God knows, I was better than that... Listened to people who told me I wasn't ready for you/ But how the f--- would they know what I was ready to do?" Nicki broke everything down step by step in a two hour interview, so we had to summarize for this article. Nicki went on to say my abortion happened 16 years ago. I was dating a guy that I loved very much. We were in an on again, off again relationship for years. When I would take trips to see my family in Charlotte, North Carolina, we would start our relationship right where we left off. His government name is not Aaron, which everyone knows by now, his name is Mitchell. I only said Aaron in the song because I was still bitter. My career was taking off and I didn't want to help his, just before my abortion we had a fight and broke up. A couple weeks later I found out that I was pregnant, when I told him, he said that he wanted me to have an abortion because he didn't think I would be a good mother. Also, he said I was a big baby and challenged me to finally be a woman.

I really never thought he would want me to go through with it. I found out that he was dealing drugs and I wanted him out of my life, so I chose to follow through with his plan. The night before my abortion, I couldn't sleep. I was lying alone in bed with racing thoughts, and I knew what I was about to do was very wrong. When I woke up that morning, I went to the abortion clinic, I noticed the picketers and I wanted to make sure none of them knew me. I drove around the block. None of them looked familiar, so I pulled into the parking lot and went in. The picketers yelled stuff to me, but I felt they didn't know my situation so they didn't deserve my time. Once inside, I gave the receptionist a fake name. I felt numb. I filled out paper work, talked to a counselor, talked to a nurse, and tried not to think about what I was doing.

A nurse escorted me into the abortion room. She helped me get ready for the procedure and just asked me vague questions about the weather and if I was going to school. The abortionist came into the room and began my abortion. The nurse was leaning over me and starring into my eyes. After a little while, she asked the doctor "Is something wrong?" He said, "It is trying to get away – I've tried three times!" I was shocked!! What he said hit me like a ton of bricks. It is trying to get away! I started to pray and ask God to stop all this from happening – to not let it work – to let it fail - to put His hand in the way of the vacuum. I couldn't believe what I was doing!! Seconds later, the abortionist said, "It's done". He put away his tools and left the room. I was going to die and a part of me did in that room.

Rick Ross has probably been screaming at his accountants since finding out he's $5.7 million in the hole with the Internal Revenue Service.

TMZ reports that the Miami rapper owes $4.6 million for the year 2012 and roughly $570,000 each for 2013 and 2014.

The federal government has slapped Ross with a tax lien. If he doesn't cough up the funds they'll start hauling off his valuables to settle the debt.

Video After The Jump

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Stephen Curry let it fly from the top of the arc, backpedaled as his record-breaking 3-ball dropped and then wildly began bobbing his head and shuffling his feet with the swagger of a two-time reigning MVP.

Add another remarkable achievement to a long list of them for Curry: most 3-pointers in one game.

The star guard sank 13 to set an NBA mark — one game after missing all his 3-point tries for the first time in two years — and the Golden State Warriors beat the winless New Orleans Pelicans 116-106 on Monday.

"This was a special night," Curry said.

73790328?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

He finished with 46 points, three days after his league-record streak of 157 games with at least one 3 was snapped when he went 0 for 10 on 3-point tries in a 117-97 road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I was hard on myself in practice the last two days. I had pretty good shooting sessions," he said. "I don't overreact to games like that whether I go 0 for 10 or 2 for 12 or whatever it is. My process is the same, but I had another level of focus the last two days trying to get my rhythm back and see the ball go in."

Curry shot 13 of 17 from beyond the arc in his seventh career game with double-digit 3s. He broke the mark with 2:23 to go and bobbed his head in delight as the crowd roared.

Curry shared the previous 3-point record of 12 with Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall.

"Nothing you can do about it. He was being Steph," Pelicans star Anthony Davis said.

Grabbing back the spotlight from new Golden State star Kevin Durant, Curry raised his right arm and pumped his chest all night, howling and pointing as one shot fell after another. He went 16 for 26 overall in his first 40-point performance after leading the NBA with 13 last season.

Warriors fans enjoyed every minute of it, chanting "M-V-P! M-V-P!"

"That was quite a show. Not at all surprising the way Steph bounces back from bad nights," Golden State coach Steve Kerr said.

Klay Thompson had 24 points with two 3s as the Splash Brothers looked far more in sync from long range at last. Durant added 22 for the Warriors.

Davis had 33 points and 13 rebounds for New Orleans (0-7), which along with the 76ers (0-6) are the NBA's lone teams still without a victory. Davis gave the Pelicans a 73-72 lead on a turnaround hook shot with 4:14 left in the third quarter.

Davis had 45 points, 17 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in the teams' initial matchup on Oct. 28.

Draymond Green had his second double-double with 12 rebounds and 11 assists for the Warriors, who were back at Oracle Arena after they embarrassed the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-96 there in Durant's first game against his former team last Thursday.

Thompson — 2 for 10 against the Lakers from 3-point range, a combined 0 of 13 vs. Phoenix and Portland and 9 of 46 overall (19.6 percent) this season coming in — missed his first three attempts before hitting from the baseline late in the second quarter as the sellout crowd went crazy.

73790299?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

Curry knocked down his first 3-point attempt at the 7:29 mark of the first quarter. He received a technical with 1:45 left in the third for arguing he was fouled by Davis on a 3-point attempt.

TIP-INS

Former Warriors player and coach Al Attles celebrated his 80th birthday, receiving a video tribute and the birthday song with cupcakes after the first quarter.

TIDAL has rolled out a new ad aimed at getting minorities and women to cast their ballot for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, November 8.

The spot, which was filmed Friday, November 4, at a "Get Out the Voteconcert in Cleveland, features J. Cole, Chance the Rapper, Big Sean, Jay Z and Beyonce.

"For so long our voice wasn't a part of the process," Jay says. "Communities were under served because our voice wasn't being heard."
