Dark Man X had a run in with some bad seafood yesterday (January 25) and as a result had to spend four hours in the emergency room at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C., just outside of Charlotte according to TMZ.

DMX reportedly ate some bad shrimp at the Miami home of the mother of one of his kids. After boarding a flight from Miami to Charlotte the rapper became ill, spending the entire flight vomiting in the aircraft's lavatory. Once the plane landed X was rushed to the hospital where he was treated for food poisoning then released.

Quesfire "Re Up" Official Video

"As an artist, it's all about perfecting and innovating your craft. Through time you test your own limits and break through hurdles that even you, yourself, never thought you could conquer. It's this same fight, and persistence that has put Ques in the top spot for underground hip-hop in New York City. In 2010, even the streets spoke, naming Ques the 'Artist To Watch' at the Underground Music Awards. This Bronx native has gone through the trenches, and with every song, he continues to rise. A kid who used music as an escape from the untimely death of his father, and the streets that were the Bronx in the 80s, Ques used all of the surrounding challenges as elements to fuel his art. His words soon became a reflection of what he saw, and where he wanted to see himself in the future. His 2005 debut album, Open Book, encompassed this the most. His journey led him to share the stage with artists such as Young Lord, and more recently, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Joelle Ortiz, and Lloyd Banks. He's now noted in the hip-hop circuit of the entire Tri-State area, not just New York City. Countless radio appearances have given Ques a farther reach into the lives of his fans, as has technology. Ques became the first rapper ever to release a flash card project, Rap2K10. This device allows for fans to not only download songs, but exclusive videos and interviews as well. Ques also has an iPhone application, helping his followers keep tabs on their favorite underground artist."

Video After The Jump Hip hop fans remember Nate Dogg for his appearances on hit records from artists like Dr Dre, Ludacris, Jadakiss, Eminem and many more, as well as his solo albums. He and Warren G helped pioneer that West Coast G-Funk style of music. And when it came to singing hooks, the man had the game on lock. After suffering two debilitating strokes, Nate is on the tough road back to recovery. In a recent interview with Hip Hop Hollywood, good friend Warren G talked about Nate's progress. "Nate is in a lot of therapy right now. We actually got a website coming out where people can send donations," Warren said. "That's gonna help out with him, help him get back on his feet. Plus us in the industry, we're gonna do a lot to help out with him." When asked if Nate would ever sing again, Warren said he was hopeful. "Everybody just gotta keep him in their prayers, cause he had two strokes and that's real dangerous. And a lot of people don't come back from that. Luther Vandross did it, so hopefully Nate can do it. Cause the game needs him, I need him," Warren said. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump The mighty D-Block crew made a stop by Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 show yesterday (September 23) and ripped it. Jadakiss was missing in action, but Styles-P, Bully and Sheek Louch held it down. That Biz Markie "Nobody Beats The Biz" instrumental was going hard as hell. I wish they would have gone in longer on that, but it was still fire. Sheek announced that his Def Jam debut album drops December 7, preceded by a mixtape on October 1. twitter-5d.gif
