50 Cent will sit down with correspondent Tracy Smith for an interview on CBS' "Sunday Morning" show tomorrow, March 24th.

In a preview of the upcoming episode the G-Unit mogul is asked whether his music glorifies gun violence.

"Nah, I'm flattered actually when they say that to me because it would mean that I have such a strong hold on the youth or people in general that it completely changes their thought process or pattern. The music is that powerful," 50 said. "If you were [rapping about it] and you didn't actually experience it. I would say you are glorifying it. If you're drawing something from your actual experiences isn't it art imitating life?"

The show airs from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. EST

50 Cent sits down for part 2 of his "Cut From a Different Cloth" interview with Hypetrak TV. 

The G-Unit mogul discusses society's obsession with seeing people they build up taking a fall and his refusal to accept defeat, 

"You don't ever count how many times you've seen me down. You count how many times you see me get up 'cause that's all I do. That's what I do the best," 50 said. "I never actually allow situations to break me emotionally or mentally at any point. Because I assess it and cfreate what is my understanding of what is actually happening."

The "My Life" rapper also discusses some of the newer emcees faking it until they make it and explains why he'll never take the new hipster approach with his music.

Fresh off of nabbing the top spot on MTV's Hottest MC's in the Game list, Kendrick Lamar took some time out to speak with Rap-Up TV about several topics.

The Top Dawg Entertainment artist said he's contemplating his next single off of his album, good kid, m.A.A.d city. "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" is a strong possibility, but K. Dot said that decision is still up in the air.

Kendrick also spoke about possible future collaborations with Drake and bringing 50 Cent out at his recent sold out show at Roseland Ballroom in New York City.

"That was a great moment," said Kendrick. "Fif a fool too. So entertaining...too entertaining so I had a lot of fun. It was more about just putting on a show for the people and letting them know I appreciate them for welcoming me into their city. A lot of artists can't do that. That was much love and respect"

There were so many ill rap videos in the 00's it would be a monumental task to try and name the top 50, but that's just what the good folks over at Complex have done.

G-Unit CEO 50 Cent had two videos that were ranked in the top 25. Coming in at No. 10 is "Window Shopper." Directed by Benny Boom, the song was featured on the 2005 Get Rich or Die Tryin'  movie soundtrack.

What's funny about the "Window Shopper" video is that not once does 50 Cent have to "window shop" at all during it. He and Ma$e go on a shopping spree, eating $400 cheeseburgers, while friends (and G-Unit signees) like Young Buck, Mobb Deep and Olivia all partake in living in the lap of luxury set in Monaco on the French Riviera. Must be nice.

The No. 24 Best Rap Video of the 00's as determined by Complex is "Wanksta" off of 50 Cent's classic 2003 debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin'. The clip was directed by Jessy Terrero.

Everybody knows a "Wanksta," and the one in 50 Cent's video is portrayed perfectly. Going to the car dealer and pretending to buy (but never quite closing the deal), acting hard on the boulevard, you know the drill. The only cool part about the wanksta in this video is that he has his own toy doll. He gets accidental awesome points for that.

50 Cent has accomplished so much as a rapper, actor, businessman and philanthropist people often wonder what's left for him to achieve. In 50's opinion there's a lot more.

He sits down with HYPETRAK TV to talk about what motivates him, his current business ventures which include G-Unit Records, SMS Audio, SMS Promotion, Street King energy, Cheetah Vision Films and more that don't require him to market them.

When 50 set out to create SMS Audio all he had was a 3-D rendering of what he wanted the headsets to look like, which he took with him to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) three years ago. From here he acquired KonoAudio to create what is now SMS Audio.

The company has shown steady growth since its inception. In January, Timbaland came on board as an investment partner and member of the company’s board of directors. The headsets have now launched in 46 countries.

50 goes on to compare Get Rich or Die Tryin to Street King Immortal and talks about how music has changed from the beginning of his career into more of a hipster culture now. He thinks people will eventually start to miss the elements that created great hip hop.

"It turned into a fashion show for a little while," he says. "Where artists are writing about fashion. It's crazy, that was never really the core of the actual art. You had to offer different walks...different perspectives. Your album was supposed to be better than the other guy's album. That's why I do often got involved in battling that they call beefing. They changed the terminology to beefing after Biggie and Tupac, but these guys aren't Biggie and Tupac."

Billy Dib will defend the International Boxing Federation featherweight crown tomorrow against Russia's unbeaten Evgeny Gradovich, at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The fight will be televised on ESPN.

Dib is 35-1 with 21 knockouts and has won 14 fights in a row. Gradovich is 15-0 with eight knockouts.





Dib recently talked with RingTV about the fight, working with SMS Promotions and 50 Cent, his good friend and former world champion "Prince" Naseem Hamed, plus possible fights with WBA titleholder Chris John and RING/WBO champ Mikey Garcia.

50 Cent made an appearance on ESPN's First Take to talk about music's influence on boxers and his current relationship with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

50 said the two are still friends and he accepts that Floyd's personality causes him to occasionally flip flop. The G-Unit boss also weighed in on Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao by saying he feels Money May ducked Pac Man, but not because he feared him. He believes Floyd picks his fights now solely based on business and if he feels a fighter isn't worthy of making the kind of money he gets, he probably won't fight them.

For the record Fif thinks if the two had fought Floyd would have beaten Pacquiao.

Billy "The Kid" Dib is defending his IBF featherweight title tonight against undefeated Evgeny Gradovich at the MGM Grand Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, CT. The fight will be televised live on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights" starting at 9P ET.

Dib fights under 50 Cent's SMS Promotions banner. The G-Unit mogul is working overtime getting Dib lots of exposure on various media outlets.

50 recently spoke with Fox 5 New York's Lisa Evers about the fight and how he initially heard about Dib.

"I'm aware of fighters because I travel so much," he said. "When I was in Australia, Billy is the one."




Dib, (35-1, 21 KO) is happy to be representing 50's boxing promotion company, and is ready to put on a good show tonight against Gradovich (15-0, 8 KO).

"He knows we're going to go out and do the business," Dib said. "We've got a great training team. We just have to go out and make sure we secure the victory for SMS Promotions."

As a former amateur boxer, 50 can handle himself in the ring. Evers asked him if there was an artist he would like to square off with.


"Flo Rida would be the toughest guy to fight because he trains that way. It would be real entertaining. We need to get pay per view going right now," 50 joked. "Let me call Flo Rida, let's see what we can do!"

Kendrick Lamar and his Black Hippy family of Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q played 2 sold out shows last night at the Roseland Ballroom In New York City.

During Kendrick's set he ran through many of his hit records. He thrilled the crowd by bringing out A$AP Rocky for "F*ckin Problems." Kendrick later brought out 50 Cent and Tony Yayo for a surprise performance of "We Up."

Meek Mill is in an awkward position. On one hand he knows and likes 50 Cent. On the other hand he works with someone the G-Unit general does not like in Rick Ross.

During a recent interview with Sway in the Morning a fan called in and asked Meek if there was a way he could squash the beef between the two.

"What they got going on they grown men," Meek said. "It's been going on for a long time. If I could I would. I knew 50 before I ever got signed with Ross. When I signed with Ross I couldn't just act like I didn't like 50 at all, that would be fake of me. If I could I would. I don't like seeing nobody I know go through anything. I don't wanna be in the middle one day and you gotta choose sides or anything like that. I had plans on doing that. If I'm around ain't gonna be no fighting or nothing like that."

One of the most talked about films of the last several months has been Zero Dark Thirty. The movie details how the United States hunted down and killed Osama Bin Laden. It's a great flick, but according to Jimmy Kimmel some people are questioning it's accuracy.

On last night's show Jimmy premiered the trailer for a new movie titled Zero Dark Fiddy starring 50 Cent, that tells the real story.of how Osama was taken down.
