Video After The Jump

50 Cent recently stopped by Los Angeles radio station Power 106 to chop it up with Big Boy's Neighborhood about a variety of topics.

50 spoke about why he thinks beef seems to follow him, the recording of Street King Immortal and Chief Keef missing the video shoot for "Hate Being Sober," which features 50 and Wiz Khalifa.

"As far as Chief Keef is concerned I'm a Chief Keef fan," 50 said. "I like what he is because he's something that's been completely created by the environment. It's what hip hop was initially. Now we got people from so many different cultures it's pop music now. I called him [about the video shoot]. I talked to them, his uncle Ballout and little homies around him. And they was like two or three times that day like 'you gotta come.' You know how you get momentum and you feel like Michael Jackson? Like I'm the one? That environment is so hot to him - He feels like he's so hot in his circle that they felt like he could actually do that. The video still ain't shot."

12349674488?profile=original

50 didn't sit around idly waiting for Keef to show up that day. He winded up shooting the music video for "United Nations" that day.

Fif also named his favorite Eminem collaboration to date.

"Patiently Waiting so far," 50 said. "And I like the Psycho record we did on Before I Self Destruct."

What's your favorite 50 and Em collaboration?

Video After The Jump

As we previously reported, boxing legend Hector "Macho" Camacho was shot in the face while sitting in a car Tuesday in Puerto Rico. There are reports circulating that the 50-year old former champion is brain dead.

MTV News caught up with 50 Cent yesterday to get his thoughts on the unfortunate situation.

"I heard he was shot in a drive-by and the chances of him making it are very slim. It's a tragedy," 50 said. "He's obviously someone that's a legend in the sport of boxing."

The G-Unit mogul's thoughts then shifted to Hector's son, Hector Camacho Jr., who is also a professional boxer.

"His son is tough. His son is a great fighter," 50 said. "I feel for his son in the actual case because he's following in his father's footsteps being a great athlete. But I don't much more about the actual scenario to comment on it."

On Monday November 26th, 50 Cent will be debut his new single "My Life" when he performs it live on NBC's The Voice. The song is from his upcoming album Street King Immortal and features Eminem and Adam Levine of Maroon 5.

Symbolyc One (S1), who has been behind the boards on hit records for artists such as Kanye West, Beyonce, Babyface, Erykah Badu, Ghostface Killah and many more produced the record. He recently sat down with iStandard to talk about how he and 50 linked up to create the song.

Check out what he had to say below.

Congrats on the new placement for 50 Cent’s “My Life” with Eminem and Adam Levine. How did the whole thing happen front to back?

Well, Big ups to my mans Dre Mckenzie and Tony G (A&R for G-Unit Records) for making the connect for me. I met Dre back in 2008 at the iStandard/One Stop Shop and kept a solid relationship with him.  I would send him beats every month consistently for a couple years until I heard Fif wanted to buy these 2 beats from me.  Remind you that this was back in Fall of 2010.  I went to NY and made a visit to Dre at the G-Unit office.  Fif was in a meeting in the backroom so Dre took me back to meet him.  When Fif saw me, he immediately gets up and leaves the meeting and tells me “I had an APB out on you. You got some HEAT!!!” So we went into his office and he told me the concept of the “My Life” record and spit his verses for me.  He was like “This is gonna be HUGE”.  So for the next year or so 50 Cent would mention me in all his interviews about me producing on his album.  Through the grapevine I was hearing Eminem hopped on the record then from an Executive at Interscope Records I was told Adam Levine was gonna be on the record.  Fast forward through 3 mixtapes and 1 album later, the song stood the test of time and its about to come out now as a single.  Nobody but God because its very rare that an artist holds on to a beat for 2 ½ years with the face of music changing so fast these days.  Oh I forgot to mention Just Blaze called me out the blue about a year ago.  He was in the studio with Fif and they was trying to see which one of my beats to put Eminem on.  Fif was saying the beat that is now “My Life” but Just Blaze was trying to talk him into using the other beat that Fif wanted from me.  Crazy huh!

50 Cent stopped by AMP Radio yesterday to chop it up with his old friend Carson Daly. The two discussed 50's meteoric rise to fame, how Eminem saved his career when he signed him, Young Buck and The Game turning their backs on him after he helped to launch their careers and his new single "My Life" which features Em and Adam Levine.

The G-Unit mogul has been a fan of Adam's for a long time.

We were coming up at the same time and they asked me what do I like and I said Maroon 5 because I just heard the song [“She Will Be Loved”] and I just said, ‘What is that?’” he told Carson.

Carson said he loved hearing 50 and Eminem collaborate on songs like "Patiently Waiting" and "Never Enough." Carson believes the two have a hit on their hands with "My Life."

"You got it right with My Life," Carson said. "Because you got a little bit of Em on that. But the two of you together there's a sense of urgency that we don't hear in hip hop, yet it's pop palatable. Meaning I could play it here and you can go over to Big Boy's [Neighborhood] and he's going to play it over there."

12349105065?profile=original

What really happened is for the the first time we were in the studio and I said, ‘No, we gotta make a single," 50 explained. “I found a space that kind of meets the Slim Shady, not the Marshall Mathers, but the Slim Shady side of Em when he starts to get in that pocket. It just makes a great collaboration every time we did it like Gatman and Robin or Psycho.”

Fif goes on to talk about why things didn't work with Young Buck and The Game, his performance on The Voice, Street King energy shot and helping to feed the hungry and why "New Day" will appear on Street King King Immortal and Alicia Keys' Girl On Fire album.

Written by @RobMarkman via MTV

LAS VEGAS — Wiz Khalifa has always been ahead of his time. Before the Pixburgh star spitter even dropped his major-label LP, he was touring the country, selling out shows all by his lonesome. Now that he is just weeks away from the release of his sophomore O.N.I.F.C., the Captain brought his entire Taylor Gang crew to Vegas on the latest stop on his 2050 Tour on Thursday night.

Juicy J, Chevy Woods and Lola Monroe weren't the only guests that Khalifa invited onstage at the Thomas and Mack Center. After choice cuts from his Cabin Fever and Taylor Allderdice mixtapes, Wiz made way for 50 Cent, who surprised the Sin City crowd rapping along to his 2007 hit "I Get Money."

After Fif, Wiz called out for Chevy Woods and together they rocked their riot-starting fan anthem "Taylor Gang." Fans bounced up and down, throwing their hand in time with the frantic beat. Wiz moved seamlessly through his catalog performing new tunes like O.N.I.F.C's "It's Nothin'" as well as the unreleased, Pharrell-produced "Rise Above." The set reached a literal high when Khalifa dipped into his 2010 Kush and Orange Juice classics "The Kid Frankie" and "Never Been."

12349657277?profile=original

Marijuana-filled joints lit the sky when Wiz slowed things down to sing his stoner ode "Mary 3x." By the time he hit "Young, Wild and Free," two mascots, one oversized joint and one lighter, hit the stage and danced around the freakishly large bong which stood as the stage's center piece.

To close, Wiz brought out the heavy hitters. Of course there was his breakout single "Black and Yellow" before bring it home with his latest hit "Work Hard, Play Hard."

Wiz has already solidified his future as a soloist, but now with his Taylor Gang officially in tow, the Captain proved on this night that his reign will last a long time. Maybe even until 2050.

50 Cent continues to find ways to give back to the community. The rap superstar gave 300 kids at the Brooklyn, New York Boys and Girls Clubthe thrill of their young lives when he popped up and gave a special performance.

The kids thought they were there to shoot a commercial for the Boys and Girls Club when 50, Tony Yayo and DJ Whoo Kid came out and surprised them by performing "New Day" off of 50's upcoming album Street King Immortal.

12349652885?profile=original

"It's an opportunity for me to influence the youth," 50 said. "Maybe I can inspire a few people today. It's important that you have different things in the communities that allow the kids constructive things to do with their time. Instead of just idle time."

This was the first of Yahoo!'s new Crash Concerts performance series.

Newspapers, blogs, the internet and social media have been having a field day with the beef between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Could it all have been a big act?

As we previously reported, 50 and Floyd had a very public fallout on Twitter a couple of days ago. There were a lot of personal attacks in their war of words. This morning 50 took to Twitter to say that it was staged to get people talking about Floyd because no one was giving the boxing champion the attention he wanted after his recent release from jail.

12349650462?profile=original

Now the G-Unit boss has grown tired of the games and is not willing to participate in them anymore.

"I'm sick of all this nonsense Floyd asked me to act like were fighting cause no one was paying any attention after his 60 days," 50 wrote. "Domestic violence is very serious my apologies,my grand mother said we need to stop playing I'm done sorry. I know some of the things we do in hip hop for shock value are wrong. He just wanted some attention. Floyd is like a brother to me. I always tweet things for him like follow his fiancée and help promote him but one. I'm done with please don't ask me about it. He just called he mad I said something about domestic violence. He just want be in music. You ever hear him RAP? lol."

12349651268?profile=original

So there you have it. Now we can get back to the question everyone wants an answer to. Will there ever be a fight between Floyd and Manny Pacquiao?

Last night 50 Cent declared all out war on Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe.

As we previously reported, 50 distanced himself from The Money Team on Twitter earlier in the week and announced his own boxing promotions company, SMS Promotions.

12349642857?profile=original

Last night the rift between Floyd and 50 grew even wider as the G-Unit boss challenged Floyd to box his fighter Yuriorkis Gamboa and called out Ellerbe.

12349643262?profile=original

12349643476?profile=original

The 30-year old Cuban born Gamboa is the former WBA and IBF Featherweight champion. He has an impressive professional record of 21-0, with 16 knockouts. He was also a standout fighter as an amateur. He was the four-time Cuban national champion, a 2003 Pan American Games gold medalist, a 2004 Olympic gold medalist, a 2005 World Amateur Boxing Championships bronze medalist, a 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games bronze medalist and a 2006 World Cup champion.

50 said Floyd has been ducking the big money fight with Manny Pacquiao.

12349644285?profile=original

Evidently a lot of fans feel the same way. So far 11,649 people have retweeted what 50 wrote and 2,011 people have added it to their "favorites."

Meanwhile, Floyd has seemingly aligned himself with Rick Ross. He Tweeted that he would be working on music with MMG.

12349644300?profile=original

That Tweet drew negative responses from some of his followers.

12349644693?profile=original

12349645297?profile=original

Floyd also made reference to 50 Cent getting shot.

12349645081?profile=original

That comment drew more criticism.

12349646459?profile=original

12349646674?profile=original

50 later said that Floyd wasn't smart enough to use Twitter and had someone else doing it for him. He also said Floyd spent most of his money tricking on hoes.

Looks like this might just be getting started.
