Ted Cruz is trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons after his official account liked a hardcore porn clip tweeted out by Sexuall Posts.
The incident happened on Monday night, September 11, and immediately drew hilarious responses on the social networking site.
The clip in question featured a woman playing with herself while watching a couple having sex.
Cruz's senior communications adviser quickly issued a brief statement.
“The offensive tweet posted on @tedcruz account earlier has been removed by staff and reported to Twitter,” adviser Catherine Frazier said on Twitter.
