Allison Mack has begun her 3-year prison sentence for her involvement in the NXIVM sex cult.
The 39-year-old former actress, best known for playing Chloe Sullivan on Smallville in the '00s, is listed as an inmate in the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, Calif. Mack was originally set to begin her prison sentence on Sept. 29.
Mack, who had been on house arrest since 2018, had pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy & racketeering acts of state law extortion & forced labor, admitting to blackmailing two women into performing services in NXIVM by threatening to release damaging information about them.
During her sentencing in June, in addition to being ordered to serve three years in prison—fewer than the maximum of 14 to 17 years, Mack was also given a $20,000 fine & serve 1,000 hours of community service for her role in the cult, founded by Keith Raniere.
He began a 120-year prison sentence in February at a federal facility in Tucson, Ariz. that specializes in sex offenders after being found guilty of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, attempted sex trafficking, racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy & forced labor conspiracy.

G-Eazy was allegedly involved in a physical altercation last week.
The 32-year-old rapper, born Gerald Gillum, was arrested Monday afternoon in connection with an altercation that took place outside the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel in New York City around 12:50 a.m. Friday.
In the scuffle, a 32-year-old man was punched & suffered redness & swelling to the head, but refused medical attention, according to the NYPD, who say a 29-year-old male was also punched.
G-Eazy was charged with assault & issued a desk appearance ticket for both arrests.
The flare-up reportedly occurred around 1 a.m. on Sept. 10 at the popular Manhattan club.
According to TMZ, a man from the other group claims that one of the "No Limit" rapper's companions hit him in the head with a glass bottle, resulting in him having to seek treatment at a hospital. The man G-Eazy allegedly punched refused medical attention.

Norm Macdonald, known for his time on "Saturday Night Live," has died, Fox News can confirm. He was 61 years old.
According to Deadline, the comedian had been battling cancer for nine years.
Macdonald's longtime producing partner and friend Lori Jo Hoekstra was reportedly at his side when he passed.
"He was most proud of his comedy," Hoekstra told Deadline. "He never wanted the diagnosis to affect the way the audience or any of his loved ones saw him. Norm was a pure comic. He once wrote that ‘a joke should catch someone by surprise, it should never pander.’ He certainly never pandered. Norm will be missed terribly."
Macdonald was an "SNL" cast member from 1993 to 1999 and anchored the show's Weekend Update sketch for three seasons.
After leaving "SNL," Macdonald had his own comedy show, "The Norm Show," from 1999-2001, and later had his own talk show on Netflix for one season in 2018.

Nicki Minaj is fiercely defending herself after letting it be known she won't be getting the COVID-19 vaccine until she's done enough research.
Nicki responded to tweets practically all of Monday night after she'd posted an explanation for her absence from the Met Gala, which required all guests to be vaccinated. She declared, if she gets vaccinated "it won't [be] for the Met. It'll be once I feel I've done enough research. I'm working on that now."
Then, about 20 minutes later, she dropped the tweet that still has social media fired up today. Nicki said her cousin in Trinidad won't get the vaccine cuz "his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen." She added that "his friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied."
Nicki isn't pleased that anecdote is the one grabbing headlines. She's pointing out her critics are purposely ignoring her prior tweets encouraging people to get vaccinated, wear masks and be safe.
She also shared a screenshot of news headlines and called them all lies. Nicki wrote, "3 lies in a row from huge news platforms. I cited my young child as why I didn’t want to travel. But notice how NONE of them mentioned that? Ask yourself why that was."
Nicki also shared that she came down with COVID while preparing for this year's VMAs ... and she feared passing it to her son, who was born last September.
She tweeted, "Do u know what it is not to be able to kiss or hold your tiny baby for over a week? A baby who is only used to his mama?"
Apparently, Nicki's now satisfied with her research -- she relented she will eventually get the vaccine, because she'll have to travel and go on tour.
She also asked the Barbz for vaccine recommendations and, for what it's worth, Nicki's Twitter poll results had Pfizer beating out Moderna and J&J.

The Broncos have an ownership situation that, if not settled among the family members of the late Pat Bowlen, will result in a 2022 sale. If the team is sold, two potential buyers have emerged.
Via A.J. Perez of FrontOfficeSports.com, a pair of names “keep popping up” as new owners of the Broncos: Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Jay-Z.
The expected purchase prices will be $4 billion. It’s unclear whether Jay-Z would have the financial wherewithal to personally hold enough equity and also have the resources to run the team. At an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion, that likely wouldn’t be enough for him to be the controlling owner of a team that sells for $4 billion; by rule, he’d need to personally purchase 30 percent of the franchise.
He could still be a key part of an ownership group, the public face and voice while the person with the money remains relatively anonymous. That’s the role Jon Bon Jovi would have played in the group that tried to buy the Bills, for example.
Franchise values are expected to skyrocket in this age of legalized gambling. For years, Bezos has been linked to the NFL. Given his massive holdings and the mushrooming cost of owning and operating a team, he’s one of the few in the world who could pull it off without even blinking.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A father shared his unimaginable grief after his 12-year-old son was shot and killed over the weekend. The boy's mother is now charged in his death.
Kaden Ingram's family spoke out about mental illness Monday to bring more attention to a topic they say should be front and center in this case.
"He was the joy of my life," said the boy's father, Lavell Ingram. "He was everything a father could want in a child."
The 7th grader was shot and killed inside of his home on the city's South Side on Saturday morning. Police said the shooter was his own mom. Fallon Harris is now charged with murder.
"It hurts. It is hard to describe," Ingram said, overcome with emotion.
Kaden's dad got the call just a short time after investigators said Harris opened fire inside of her home in the 8000-block of South Bennett Avenue.
Police said Harris asked her son to hand over a memory card, and when he didn't have it, detectives said she shot him.
The child was still conscious, but that's when investigators said Harris walked back again and opened fire a second time. The child died.
"His mom is a loving mom. She loved him more than she loved anything in the world," Ingram said.
Family members said Harris was struggling mentally and say she just saw a therapist the day before the shooting.
"People need to know that mental illness is real," Ingram said.
Harris appeared in bond court Monday morning and is being held without bond.

NEW YORK (WPIX) — Disturbing video shows a man kicking a woman inside a Brooklyn subway station, sending her falling down the moving escalator, New York City police said Sunday.
Video from the Thursday evening attack shows the man pass the woman on the escalator. After a brief exchange, he kicked the 32-year-old woman in the chest, then ran from the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center Station.
The woman suffered cuts and bruises to her back, arms, legs, right knee and right thigh and trauma to her left ankle, but she refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Four former Minneapolis police officers charged with violating George Floyd’s civil rights are scheduled to be arraigned in federal court Tuesday at a hearing that could also address some pretrial motions.
A federal grand jury indicted Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J. Kueng and Tou Thao in May for allegedly depriving Floyd of his rights while acting under government authority on May 25, 2020, as Floyd, 46, was held face-down, handcuffed & not resisting in a restraint that was captured on bystander video. His death led to worldwide protests & calls for change in policing.
At federal arraignment hearings, defendants can have the charges read to them & not guilty pleas are typically entered. The parties were to appear at Tuesday’s hearing via videoconference.
Prosecutors & attorneys for the former officers could also argue several motions on Tuesday.
Among them, Kueng & Thao have asked that their federal trials be separated from Chauvin’s, saying they would be unfairly prejudiced if they went to trial alongside him. Lane asked to join that request, which is being opposed by prosecutors. It wasn’t immediately clear if that issue will come up at Tuesday’s hearing, because both sides have agreed the request was premature and have asked to set it aside until more information develops, according to court documents.
The federal indictment alleges Chauvin violated Floyd’s right to be free from unreasonable seizure & unreasonable force by a police officer. Thao & Kueng are charged with violating Floyd’s right to be free from unreasonable seizure by not intervening to stop Chauvin as he knelt on Floyd’s neck. All four officers are also charged with depriving Floyd of his rights when they failed to provide him with medical care.
During Floyd’s arrest, he repeatedly said he couldn’t breathe as Chauvin pinned him to the ground. Kueng & Lane helped restrain Floyd; Kueng knelt on Floyd’s back & Lane held Floyd’s legs. Thao held back bystanders & kept them from intervening during the 9 1/2-minute restraint.
The 4 officers were also charged in state court, where Chauvin’s trial was eventually separated from the others due to space restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Chauvin was convicted in April of murder & manslaughter & was sentenced to 22 1/2 years in prison. The other three former officers face state trial next March on aiding & abetting counts.
Chauvin is also charged in a separate federal indictment alleging he violated the civil rights of a 14-year-old boy in 2017.
Meanwhile, the federal government is investigating policing practices in Minneapolis. The investigation known as a “pattern or practice” — examining whether there is a pattern or practice of unconstitutional or unlawful policing — includes a sweeping review of the entire police department. It may result in major changes to policing in the Minnesota city.

NEW YORK (AP) — R. Kelly’s longtime assistant testified Monday that the R&B superstar was so paranoid, he once asked her to change into a robe to demonstrate she was not wearing a wire.
“He could get pretty heated,” said Diana Copeland, who was Kelly’s assistant for 15 years. She told jurors he made her cry at times.
Copeland testified that Kelly kept strict policies for his entourage and once compelled her to write a letter falsely confessing to stealing from him.
Still, Copeland said she did not witness any of the alleged abuse — including kidnapping and sexual assault — described by a long list of witnesses over the past month in Kelly’s racketeering trial at a federal court in Brooklyn.
The Grammy-winning, multiplatinum-selling singer has denied accusations that he led a criminal enterprise that sexually exploited women, girls and even boys during a 30-year career highlighted by his anthem “I Believe I Can Fly.” His lawyers have portrayed his accusers as groupies who are lying about their relationships with him.
Copeland’s testimony revealed new details about Kelly’s unusual routines and the degree to which he relied upon his inner circle.
She said he had no control over his own bank account and had “no idea where his royalties were going.”
“He didn’t even know his own Social Security number,” Copeland said. “That was a huge problem.”
The singer, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, has trouble reading and writing and would have Copeland draft his text messages before the advent of voice-to-text applications.
Kelly lived a nocturnal lifestyle in which he often didn’t start his day until 5 p.m., played basketball at midnight and remained in the recording studio until the sun came up, Copeland said.
