12348799253?profile=originalBy now everyone knows Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj are beefing.

Of course there are a lot of different opinions on which side is to blame and how the situation should be handled.

Foxy Brown knows both women very well. She has had run ins with Kim in the past and is on good terms with Nicki, so it should come as no surprise she backs Nicki in the beef.

During a recent interview with Billboard Fox Boogie added her two cents to the brewing battle.

"Of course, people everywhere clearly are saying, "She wants to be Foxy, she wants to be Kim." Everybody's going to say that. But do I think she's doing an incredible job at branding herself? Yes, I do. When you're an icon in the music business…like Mary J. Blige. Keyshia Cole came out after her, [but] you didn't hear Mary J. Blige starting a beef with her just because they compared [Keyshia to] her. Mary J. Blige stayed clean. She does what she does, and I do what I do.

Had she let the people say, "Oh [Nicki], you're trying to be Kim, you're a fake Kim," then it doesn't come directly from her. But when you're using that as a platform to bring your new album out, that's like, "Oh my God, wait a minute." I don't condone it at all; I don't think it's cute.

Nicki clearly drew from both Kim and me. And she hasn't been disrespectful to me in any way -- I haven't heard her be disrespectful toward anybody else but Kim. And at some point, it's like, O.K., Kim, you've had a problem with Foxy, you've had a problem with Nicki, you've had a problem with Faith [Evans], with Charli [Baltimore], with everybody. It's like, enough already. I choose to stay out of it. Put out great music, and that's that."

It is ironic Foxy would be telling Kim to tone it down when she herself dropped a Lil Kim diss, "The Massacre" just a couple of weeks ago, but is she right?

Should Kim back off the beef with Nicki or continue full speed ahead?

Rapper Reminisce Smith, a.k.a. Remy Ma's attempt to get out of prison early was turned down by the New York State Court of Appeals Thursday (February 24).

The former Terror Squad member and her lawyers sought to have her conviction for a 2007 shooting overturned.

Remy was originally convicted May 13, 2008 and sentenced to eight years for the shooting and that injured Makeda Barnes-Joseph, following an argument.

Her defense had argued that the judge had not properly properly informed jurors before they rendered their guilty verdict during her 2007 trial.

Yeezy didn't teach her that you can't believe everything your mind tells you in this unofficial version of "Blame Game."

Director Yonie did an excellent job on his previous visualization of a Kanye West song with "Devil In A New Dress." This one is just as powerful.

Both songs appears on Kanye's latest cd 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' which is in stores now.

Finally the visuals drop for this joint and they pretty much save the song. This has to be one of my lease favorite Dr Dre songs ever. It doesn't fit with anything that has gotten him to where he is now.

That being said, it will probably do well on the charts with Eminem rapping about how the good dr saved his life by signing him.

12348795280?profile=original34-year old Robert Rosado, a.k.a. Tru Life pleaded guilty yesterday (February 23) to gang assault and was sentenced to eight years in prison.

Once signed to Jay-Z's Roc La Familia, Tru and his brother 39-year old Marcus Rosado got caught up in a feud the night of June 15, 2009 that led to the stabbing and killing 20-year old Christopher Guerrero.

Because his brother admitted to the stabbing and because he didn't have a knife the night on the incident, Tru was allowed to plead to the lesser charge of gang assault.  While his brother faces manslaughter charges for the attack that also left another man critically wounded.

"They wish to express their deepest sympathies to the Guerrero family and it's their hope that by accepting responsibility they can bring some measure of closure to the family," their two defense lawyers Joel Cohen and Alam Abramson said in a joint statement.

"Blackface is more than just burnt cork applied as makeup. It is a style of entertainment based on racist Black stereotypes that began in minstrel shows and continues to this day." Black-Face.com

Blackface has long been condemned as racist. Typically done on the late 1800's when white actors would darken their skin, then proceed to "shuck and jive" pretending to be African American, much to the amusement of white audiences.

But is it the same if a black person does it?

French fashion magazine L'Officiel Paris chose Beyonce as the cover girl for it's 90th anniversary edition.

The singer/actress appears in dark skinned makeup.  And that upset who think it's too much like blackface.

L'Officiel Paris has issued a statement assuring the makeup was worn voluntarily by Beyonce.

"Far from the glamorous Sasha Fierce [Beyonce's alter-ego], the beauty posed for the magazine with amazing fashion designers' clothes, but also in a dress created by her mother. A return to her African roots, as you can see in the picture, on which her face was voluntarily darkened. All the pictures will be available in the collector edition, on sale at the end of this month."

Beyonce is said to have been inspired to use to the dark makeup as a tribute to Nigerian musician and political activist Fela Kuti.

B's husband Jay-Z co-produced the broadway musical 'Fela!' about Kuti, along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

12348794875?profile=originalLupe Fiasco has put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into his upcoming 'Lasers' album.

The project was once rejected by his label Atlantic, he tried getting released from the label, fans organized a rally/boycott to get the album put out, now finally, on March 8, it will see the light of day.

There are still some battle scars left on the Chicago rapper, even if you can't see them.

In a recent interview with Details, Lupe talks about contemplating suicide while trying to get this album out. He even raps about it on the song "Beautiful Lasers."

"If you feel like you don't want to be alive, you feel just like I am," he raps.

A lot of his frustration stemmed from the fact Atlantic wanted him him to be something he's not. Trying to force poppy, syrupy records that might be fine for other artists but not Lupe down his throat.

"The creation of Lasers was a very painful, dark, f*cked-up process," he says. Adding that he definitely thought about suicide if only to prevent himself from "from killing somebody else,"

Creatively, Lupe knows his limits and what he's capable of musically even after Atlantic rejected his album initially for not being pop enough, he stayed on course.

"I don't know how to do what Kanye does," he says "I don't have that Midas touch."

He does however have the ability to make great songs that his fans enjoy.

Lil Boosie is literally in a fight for his life, and he and his lawyers are doing everything they can to get him off the hook before the trial even starts.

Boosie claims District Attorney Hillar Moore III has a vendetta against him and only sought murder charges after hearing a song by Boosie dissing the D.A. titled "F*ck Em All."

"F*ck the D.A. and the lawyers/your racist ass is going to hell/You'll probably be dead when I come out of jail ya old bitch," Boosie raps on the song.

Jason Williams, the attorney for Boosie whose real name is Torrence Hatch, has filed a motion asking that Boosie be removed from the case.

"Mr. Moore learned of these disparaging comments and within 10 days of hearing these remarks, he prepared a case against Torrence Hatch to bring before a grand jury when the individuals actually responsible for this crime had been in custody for quite some time," court papers read

Boosie and two others including a 17 year old, who was the alleged trigger man are accused of killing 39-year old Terry Boyd in a turf war.

The motion will be heard June 22 according to Contact Music.

Already making big moves in the game, Fred The Godson plans on holding onto his spot for a while.

Fred The G spoke with Swagg DVD about the amount of love he's been getting from his peers and the hard work he's putting in to earn it.

"Saturday night I could be doing a lot of things, but you see where I'm at [in the studio]. You got a lot of people that want me now because of the work ethic as far as the lyrics, the videos and the freestyles. It's just everything to do with hard work. You gotta want to do it. Some people wanna do it halfway, if you take it halfway I don't think this game is for you," he said.

Fred has also gotten big co-signs from Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel and Rakim. He talks about what that feels like.

"That's motivation enough to keep going, these are rappers I look up to," Fred says. "Jay is one of the best ever. Beans I always looked at as one of my favorites and I would never guess in like a week turnaround, me tearing down a showcase, couple of days later I'd be in front of him rapping and he'd be blown away by it and the rest is history."

Being young in the game, Fred still hasn't had the chance to work with all of the producers and rapper's he would like to.  He names the top 5 in each category he'd like to link up with.

"Producers that I would like to work with I would say definitely Just Blaze, Dr Dre, DJ Khalil's a beast and Teddy Riley, I need one of them old school Guy joints," Fred said.  "Top rappers off the top, Big Pun and Biggie are my favorites, but their untimely demise messed everything up so I wouldn't even put them at the top 5. I'm just gonna say I wish, rest in peace.  But the top 5 rappers that I'd love that I think is crazy is Jay, of course 50 [Cent], Nas, Eminem and my boy Jadakiss."

Peep the rest of interview as Fred talks about his battles with asthma, kidney problems and diabetes and a lot more.

From what I can gather, this brawl started out as a fender bender in the parking lot of a Denny's in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Both parties wind up inside the restaurant where two separate fights between them break out.

The 1st fight was between two men, as one rained down punches on a guy who didn't even fight back.

The second fight involved two women who were with the 1st guy that got his ass kicked against a woman I can only assume came with the winner of the 1st fight. But by that time he had left.

Anyway, both of those chicks get their asses whipped, making that three ass beatings on the same party in a span of about 5 minutes, lol.
