Record executive John Atterberry died Monday (December 12) three days after suffering gunshot wounds when a deranged man went on a shooting rampage in Hollywood, California.

Atterberry, 40, was walking out of a Bank of America at Sunset Blvd and Vine when 26-year old Tyler Brehm walked up to him and shot him in the face and chest. Brehm then walked into the middle of the street and started shooting indiscriminately at cars passing by.

Brehm was shot dead by two plainclothes police officers shortly after shooting Atterberry, who was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where he clung to life for 72 hours before passing away Monday.

More Pics After The Jump

A Drake fan has guaranteed her spot in the history books by committing one of the dumbest acts ever to show her love for the Young Money rapper. The woman walked into a Los Angeles tattoo shop and demanded Drake's name be tattooed in bold letters across her forehead.

Tattoo artist Kevin Campbell of Will Rise gave the young woman exactly what she asked for. Now she has the rest of her life to think about it.

Vice.com caught up with Campbell to find out how the idea of the tat came about and why he did the artwork.

VICE: Hi Kevin, so who took the picture?
Kevin: Norm, my boss. It sucks because the photo makes the tattoo look all crooked and janky, but it's actually pretty well-applied and straight as an arrow. The other before, during, and after photos taken by my co-worker are better. But when Norm took the now famous picture, one of her shaved eyebrows was tensed up a bit, making the "A" in "DRAKE" look like dogsh*t. Her eyebrows were shaved when she came into the shop, by the way. Her head was shaved too.

How did you react when she told you what she wanted done?
The funny thing is, I didn't know who Drake was. I figured it was her hood or some sh*t, not some goofnugget R&B dude.

Did she talk about what it meant to her? Had she been planning it for a long time or was she kind of just like, "put it on my forehead" and that’s it?
Yeah, she was really psyched about it. She had the sh*tty font all picked out on her iPhone ready to go and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead. She didn't say a word about what it meant to her. Some of the guys at the shop asked her, and she just kinda giggled at them. When I printed up the first image of the lettering, she wanted me to go bigger, so that it went pretty much from each side of her hairline to the other. I thought she shaved her eyebrows for the procedure, so when I put the stencil on the first time, it was right over her (missing) eyebrows, but she had me enlarge it a bit and push it up towards the hairline. But yeah, she acted as if she had planned it out for a while, but I'm not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead.

Wow. Do you feel sort of bad about it after the fact?
My whole deal with people wanting completely outrageous and potentially life-ruining tattoos is this: I'll ask them three times if they really think it's a good idea, I tell them what the potential consequences of getting a tattoo on their face might be, and after that, the bad decision is on them. I believe that people get the tattoos that they deserve. The shop where I worked prior to Will Rise was in the center of the Harbor City Crip neighborhood, so I'm not really a stranger to tattooing gang sh*t on faces, which is what I originally thought that this was. I guess I feel bad that this dumb*ss got the name of the softest motherf*cker in hip-hop tattooed on her forehead. But what makes that any less valid of a tattoo to her? I lost a little sleep over it that first night, wondering if I wanted to be known as the a**hole who tattooed "DRAKE" on some crackhead's forehead. None of the face tattoos I had done prior to this got any publicity, so I was a little surprised that this one took off like it did. I'm still kinda debating whether or not I should send you guys the whole set of pictures, I don't really want to paint the shop in a bad light, but it is what it is. In the end, she paid me to do this to her, which really means she did this to herself.

So you see it as your job to give people what they ask for?
There is a way of steering the customer in a direction that would make their whole tattoo idea something that would look better on their skin when the concept they have in their mind sounds good to them but wouldn't translate well into a tattoo. This usually comes up when they come in asking for something like a tattoo of a rose but with 20 names and dates hidden in the petals or something. When it's something as simple as lettering, I could have tried to steer her into a prettier font maybe, or a different location (obviously), but she was already set on this letterman jacket-style font.

But as far as having a choice, yeah, sure, I could have turned her away, and I'm already getting a ton of flack from other tattooers for this, but the way I see it, if she's got her little heart set on getting her forehead tattooed then she'll just keep on trying until somebody finally goes through with it. I think that getting a color portrait of the Joker from Batman is a dumb idea, but who the f*ck am I to judge? If some cat from MS 13 comes in and wants me to "blast" that sh*t on his chin or forehead or whatever, who am I to judge the validity of them getting what they get and where they get it?  If I tattoo a huge "BK" on a Crip or tattoo "DRAKE" on some R&B-crazed girl's face, what's the difference? Who am I to say which one is wrong and which is right?

Are you surprised at how quickly the photo spread?
Honestly, I didn't think this thing would get so much exposure. I'm still kinda debating whether or not it's a great idea to have my name attached to this sh*t more than it already is. Seeing as how I haven't really established too much of a name for myself, I don't particularly want this one tattoo to represent my whole body of work. It’s not something I’d want to write home to mom about, if you know what I mean. I've actually done some way crazier facial tattoos recently, but was really careful not to blast the sh*t all over the internet. There are so many kids walking up and down Fairfax with ridiculous facial tattoos that I didn't think too much about it before I did it. Plus, the whole shaved eyebrow thing usually means you just got put on to your neighborhood or whatever, so I figured she was just some crazy shermed-out cholla who was "down for her calle" or whatever.

In my opinion this whole world's going to sh*t, and sh*t rolls downhill, so I might as well just jump in, hold my breath, and pray to God that there's a nice big soft puddle of diarrhea for me to land in once everything hits the fan.

12349114893?profile=original

I wonder what was going through her mind when she decided to do it.
Man, I wish I could get you in touch with her. I'm sure the story's pretty intense. Sadly, she didn't leave a number on her consent form, just her name. But she is supposed to be coming back to finish the tattoo once it heals (she only had enough money for the outline) and I could probably talk to her then. She was on a pretty good one when she came in, but I think by the time I finished she was coming down, because her attitude changed pretty drastically once the tattoo was finished.

Uncle Sam doesn't forget or forgive. MC Hammer is finding that out the hard way.

Hammer, real name Stanley Burrell, is in deep debt with the U.S. government to the tune of $779,585 according to TMZ. The government has filed a lawsuit against the rapper in an attempt to collect the debt.

Hammer sold more than 50 million records worldwide, mainly during the height of his success in the early 90's. The rapper accumulated massive wealth. He reportedly made then blew as much as $30 million dollars due to bad investments and a $12 million dollar crib he had built for himself. After falling $13 million dollars in debt, Hammer filed for bankruptcy in 1996.

The government says the rapper owes unpaid taxes for the years 1996 and 1997. They are demanding any money he makes from concert appearances go straight to them until the debt is satisfied. Given that Hammer is not exactly a hot name in the streets right now, you would be right to assume it is going to take quite a while for him to repay his debt.

Wow, this is just crazy.

In an episode of Lifetime's 'One Born Every Minute,' two women celebrated the birth of their grandchild by scrapping right in the hallway outside of the room of the baby's mother.

One of the grandmas looks like she's been watching some MMA because she throws a mean left and a flying knee that leaves the other woman dazed and confused.

Check out the buffoonery below.

50 Cent was in attendance at "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute" show Sunday December 11. The event is dedicated to honoring everyday people who are changing the world.

The businessman/actor/rapper/philanthropist talked to A.J. Hammer about why he felt it was important for him to be there.

"It's exciting to acknowledge everyday people making a difference," 50 said. "Some of the more influential people need to take a stand and step out there and do some different things. That's what I'm doing with my Street King initiative. I partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme. With every sale of the actual energy drink they're providing a meal on behalf of the person that made the purchase," 50 explained. "And through SMS Audio, my newest venture I partnered with Feeding America, which is the nationa's leading charitable organization against hunger to provide 250 meals for each purchase of the audio headsets."

A.J. said it was clear that 50's charitable endeavors were coming from the heart.

"I think the business model is more important than an energy drink or a headset," 50 continued. "Moving forward if I can influence other young entrepreneurs to make the same decision to have the charitable component connected to it, then it will become a standard. And we will find money for issues that we really need to focus on."

Whether it's just good for publicity or a prelude of things to come, Warner Bros is making it look like Bane will be the end of Batman. In the new poster released Saturday (December 10) Bane is seen walking away from a destroyed Batman mask.

Director Christopher Nolan and actor Christian Bale have said that Dark Knight Rises is the last Batman movie for them. So if this is the end of the line it's going to be pretty exciting to watch.

50 Cent hit up DJ Whoo Kid's Shade 45 show Saturday (December 10) and chopped it up about every subject under the sun. From the early days of G-Unit, meeting Lloyd Banks through Tony Yayo, how he revolutionized the mixtape game, being amazed that his mixtape ended up in Eminem's hands and what he meant when he said Lil Wayne was turning into 50 Cent.

"I see the backlash," 50 said of Wayne's Carter IV cd. "His last album I listened to it and it's some good sh*t on it, but it's not registering like that. They're [fans] are comparing it to the best material that he's ever made. Then you go, 'ok it's not that good' if you're comparing it to them big hits off of the last few albums that he had. That's what they did to the 'Curtis' album."

50 also clarified that his new artist Paris is a part of the Ryder Gang along with Kidd Kidd. In addition he is putting out another set of wireless headphones designed specifically for DJ's and is considering creating a cartoon series based on the character Butterball from his anti-bullying book 'Playground.'

For fans that were wondering why songs like "What Up Gangsta Pt. 2" weren't on The Big 10 project, 50 said he is still going to release a Street King mixtape. The Big 10 came out first because it coincided with the 10-year anniversary of 50 Cent is the Future.

There's a lot more to the interview. 50 also talks about his recent conversations with T.I. and Birdman plus his plans to continue to build G-Unit/G-Note Records through new talent.

Mike Baggz - One Way Ticket [Mixtape Download]

12349113283?profile=original

Here's the latest project from Mike Baggz. Check out the tracklisting below.

TRACK for TRACK breakdown

01. INTRO

i put the sound of the train to signify the takeoff, later on in the track "one way ticket", i specify im going to take off in a train.

02. LOVE ME OR HATE ME

i explain the struggle between my ex loving me, and hating me and exploring the reasons why. her misconceptions and insecurities are outlined in this song, i go as far as talking about the breaking point which was probably the abortion we had that we neither really wanted but the pressure of our family ultimately led to the decision. the hook signifies the internal struggle she faced during our relationship.

03. ANGER

circiling around an insident that happened at bay shore mall, where my ex attacted me out of anger, and we had a physical altercation. this song was based of those emotions. i wrote this the day after, all i could think of when the situation happened was how much i did love this girl and how oposite our situation became, its like we was on the opposite sides of the spectrum

04. WE WAS DEAD WRONG FT. L BLACK

remembering my ex, who was my first everything and the first time we had sex, and the issues we delt with, in one line i say "the more we loved eachother the more we grew apart" also incorperating the sound of philly in the song, also featuring one of phillys most poppin artist @lblack_215 on twitter,

05. FLY AWAY

probably my favorite song to listen to on the mixtape, when you listen youll understand why, i was explaining how life is on the road as a rapper, and how you leave the one you love to pursue this music career, and some of the issues you face. one line which stands out is "i just wanna party an bullshit but every bitch i fuck on some bullshit"this is a song i did the day i came back from paris,

06. INSOMNIA FT. STYLEZZ UNIQUE

i released this in 2009, its a classic thats been featured on a lot of different projects, this would be the song you smoke and fuck too, i know i did lol, i was actually a featured artist on this track. it has a real pop sound too it, i basically talk about being captive an used as a sex slave metaphorically speaking that is

07. ONE WAY TICKET

self explanitory, this song represents the concept of the mixtape, the hook has a eminem'ish sound to it, with hard verses, the ultimate message in this song is , leave when you need to leave, even if there is no imediate destination, in one line i said, "board the plane board the train or start sailing off", theres alot of aggression in this song, when i recorded it , i put myself in that mind state i was in a few months ago when i had to leave what is now known as my ex, if im listening to my mixtape this is usually the song i have on repeat, the word play and flow on this one is nearly flawless.

08. BUSCADO DE ORO FT. JOSH BENNY

i put it in spanish just confuse the shit out of my listeners lol this song features long time friend and comrad josh benny, whom i known since he was 13 goin on 14, and i was about 19 or 20, we have history so its right i bring em along for the ride, this track has that farrockaway feel to it. probably a favorite among the listeners, fyi buscado de oro means gold digger in spanish, i created this song after a convo i had with this girl and she was telling me how her mom encourages her to go after guys with money, to chace the wallet not the heart #GOFIGURE

09. DAMN

im not a big fan of autotune, and actually this song was just me playing around, but when i ran it by a couple of my friends they loved it, and it kinda grew on me, and now is one of my favorite songs on the mixtape, it is very catchy, alot of the younger generation will love this one, i unofficially consider it based music , i actually freestyled this whole song, if you noticed the back round talk it gets very explicit, this is not a song you play around kids lol

10. IN THE MORNING

this song was done earlier this year, just a segment out of a track i was featured on, i think i killed this shit lol,  i explain the different seasons as different feelings, i explore the simplicity of comencing a relationship with a girl who is scorned by her past relationships, so my job is to "paint her a picture" as i explain in the song, a picture she can look at an be comfortable with metaphorically speaking

11. MORE THAN EXPECTED

for every girl who feels like i wasnt doing enough, having it all, but still wanting more, the ladies like this song the most, im guessing because they can relate to it, i showcase my word play and my lyricism in this track. i grew up on big pun, so the fast tounge twisters was right up my ally toward the second verse, i address my ex's in this song, as im trying to move on into another relationship. "my ex's wanna fight me, please dont hype me, cuz they irrelavant"

12. I LIKE YOU

this is originally my first song i released of the mixtape, and probably the most viral, the song shows off my wordplay and verbal skills, i wanted ppl to get that feeling when you first meet a girl and later tell em how you feel, theres no curses in this song, i basically will smith'ed it lol, this song is prolly a classic and will always remain one of my best songs to showcase.

13. YOU & ME

i did this song after my break-up with my first, it was a 5  1/2 year run, that came to an end. this song i did almost 3 years ago but never officially released it, i shot a video for it ----> the reason i chose to do this beat because it was perfect for me getting the message through, the sample in the begining was perfect, favorite line "im not callin you a liar, but i smell smoke and ya pants on fire"

14. ALL NIGHT LONG

when i wrote this song i just came back from harlem, you could prolly hear it in the song who im flowing like lol, @jimjonescapo is one of my favorite artists, this is a song id play heading uptown, it has that new york swag to it

15. FLY LIKE ME

i wrote this after meeting the girl of my second serious relationship, we used to go to fridays and eat with friends, i didnt know her, but i invited all her friends out just so she acan come out, i was a lil slick back then, but we ultimatley had a good 2 1/2 year run, i met her in college hence the hook "school girl"

16. THINKIN BOUT YOU

this song never was released because i never really got it finished, i was suppose to feature another artist on it, this was made during the time of  you & me, so it has some sort of the same theme too it, actually you & me, and this song was writtin in the same studio session.

17. SO FAR FT MADDRICK

this song was the last added track to the mixtape, featuring another long islander, this song i wrote right after my ex hit me up saying she miss me and she still loves me, ironically she was also the reason for the song anger, understand anger came after so far lol, so far explores the dark side of a break up, and how are mind states change to "fuck bitches" because in my mind i felt if i started believeing that, it would be easier to get over
