Yesterday the internet was buzzing because of an interview by Gucci Mane where he went at Nicki Minaj, French Montana and Yo Gotti.
As we reported at the time, Gucci called Gotti a "busta" because he was going to drop a mixtape on October 17th, the same day as Gucci's Trap God.
Gotti heard about the drama and in an interview with Devin Steel of Memphis radio station K97 he addresses it.
Gotti says he had no idea initially that his CM7 tape was coming out the same day as Gucci's.
"I do my music and I don't keep up with what other people doing," Gotti said. "When I'm locked in the studio I ain't walking around with no laptop, no iPad. I just got my phone. Foe one I ain't checking to see when you drop. It don't mean nothing to me."
Gotti said that when he found out he and Gucci were releasing mixtapes on the same day he thought it was a good thing because he and Gucci were supposed to be friends. After unsuccessfully trying to reach Gucci on the phone he found out later that it was a problem and Gucci was going to be dropping a diss record going at him.
"I'm more disappointed than anything really because I heard about the [diss] record last night. I haven't heard it yet, but I heard about the record last night." Gotti explained. "Like two or three in the morning my phone get the texts and calls like, 'homie did this, homie did that.' That comes from some of the people that's around him because they cool with me. So when he was doing it they was hitting me like, 'homie wigging.' Because they don't really understand why he doing it.. At the end of the day I'm more disappointed in him than anything because I looked at him different. What I perceived of him is not what he's playing out... the Gucci I always knew. I thought you was a straight up, stand up guy, a street type dude and street dudes don't handle business like that."
Gotti also addresses situation with Plies. Peep the rest of the interview below.

As expected Meek Mill's debut album Dreams and Nightmares is going to have a strong first week in sales. HitsDailyDouble is projecting the Philadephia rapper will move between 175-200K units.
Meek could receive an extra boost in sales based on his strong East Coast following. Many people in that part of the country are understandably dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and may not have been able to go out and purchase his cd yet.
Are Meek's sales projections about what you expected?
Don't mention Reggie Bush's name around Kanye West or he might just snap on you like he did to a photographer Sunday night.
Kanye and Kim were leaving the Prime 112 restaurant in South Beach, Miami when a female photographer asked Kim about the Miami Dolphins running back who was dining at nearby Prime Italian restaurant with his pregnant girlfriend, Lilit Avagyan.
Reggie Bush and Lilit Avagyan.
"Kim did you know Reggie is here [in Miami] having dinner?" the photographer asked. "Did you wanna go congratulate him on his pregnancy?"
According to TMZ, that's when Yeezy snapped and tried to take the camerawoman's camera away. He didn't actually touch her during the confrontation, but after Kanye and Kim pulled off in a Rolls Royce the photographer told others, "Kanye West just tried to beat me up."
Kim and Reggie dated on and off from 2007 to 2010 and came close to getting married before splitting up.
Last week Bush confirmed he and Avagyan were expecting their first child together.
"I have a little one on the way…We're pretty excited. We haven't found out if it's a boy or a girl yet," Bush told Florida's Paul and Young Ron Morning Show "We can't wait, It's the opportunity to bring in a new life and raise a child. I think that's the most special gift to a man and to a woman. So, I look forward to it and to building a family. I'm hoping for a boy, because if it's a girl, I'm going straight to the gun shop to buy some guns."

*UPDATE No. 2* October 31
Kanye West met up with the same female photographer he went ham on a couple of weeks back while he was leaving an airport. Yeezy pointed at the photographer and wanted her to let people know that he didn't try to hit her.
"You got me in trouble," Kanye told her. " You tried to made it seem like I... I did not try to hit you. Tell people I did not try to hit you."
"I know, me and you are tight," she replied. "Let's make up."
The two of them hugged after that then Ye got into a waiting car and left.
By now we all know that Gucci Mane is not afraid to speak on any subject at any time. In a new interview with Atlanta's Hot 107.9, the 1017 Brick Squad boss takes aim at French Montana, Nicki Minaj and Yo Gotti.
At one point Nicki was managed by Waka Flocka's mom, Deb Antney. Gucci feels like the camp played a big part in her becoming a success. He doesn't think Nicki appreciates what was done for her.
"It's like when she came to Atlanta she gave me a shout out and said I helped her in her career," Gucci said of Nicki. "But at the end of the day I just think you keep it real with somebody you can't expect them to keep it real with you. I told you man in this industry people wanna be famous and forget the people that helped them get to where they at. I tip my hat to Nicki for being a hard worker, but at the same time she know she ain't keep it real."
Another artist Gucci took issue with was French Montana. French at one point was riding with Brick Squad heavy. He and Waka Flocka recorded the mixtape Lock Out together as well as the songs "Move Tha Cane" and "Choppa Choppa Down." Those collaborations seemed to stop when French aligned himself with Rick Ross and Diddy.
"French Montana know he didn't keep it real," Gucci said. "My thing is I ain't going out of my way to tell somebody to act real or they fake or they lame because that ain't got nothing to do with me. But when they start spilling into my business or my affairs I'm a vocal person, I usually speak on it."
Gucci saved his harshest criticism for Yo Gotti. He recently sent a shot Gotti's way on Twitter and explains why.
"I said Gotti was cool until he turned into a busta. So I wasn't saying that we wasn't even cool. I said we was cool until this point right here," Gucci explained, referring to a diss song he recently recorded. "My main problem with him that he dropped his mixtape on 10/17 and tried to ride my wave like he was an artist of mine or we get some kind of money together. So I just felt like for an artist to drop their mixtape on 10/17, which is my label. All my label mates dropped their mixtape on 10/17. Why would you drop it on 10/17 and when I call you as my partna you say, 'oh I didn't know you were dropping a mixtape.' Now the whole world know I'm dropping this [Trap God] mixtape. I've been promoting this mixtape. Both me and you on the top of Worldstar. You with a freestyle and me with a video, but you say you unaware I got a mixtape and I got a banner that says it's coming out 10/17. So it just made me lose all respect for him instantly."
The Yo Gotti tape Gucci was referring to is the CM7: The World Is Yours tape. Gotti was going to drop it on October 17th, but after Gucci's Tweet he ended up releasing it on October 18th. By that point the damage had been done and at this point he and Gucci are no longer cool.
