Video After The Jump
In the latest episode of Wiz Khalifa's 2050 Tour vlog we find him and his Taylor Gang crew of Chevy Woods, Juicy J, Berner and Lola Monroe getting wild and crazy on the road as they roll through Canada.
Meek Mill and Cassidy may never face off in the rap battle fans were hoping to see, but the two Philly emcees did square off on Twitter last night.
"Why n*ggas Tryna pump Cassidy 2 battle I said I wanted him and Mook 2 battle...a battle I wanted 2 c..he gotta get poppin first 2 battle me," Meek wrote. "And I just wanna do this for fun I gain nothing! I need a #100k just 2 do it! Damn near got that in my pocket u feel me. I ain't saving these n*ggas! Lol"
Cassidy caught wind of what was being said and responded.
"I been popping for over a decade! Niggas get 1 year in and get carried away.. I paved the way for these dudes.. Niggas is scared! That would be the easiest 100k I ever made in my life.. It's like taking candy from a baby," Cass wrote on the social networking site.
Meek didn't let up, he kept firing shots at The Hustler.
Meek then posted a video of Cassidy performing and dissed him for dancing.
As we previously reported, this all started with an interview Meek gave to Shaheem Reid earlier this month indicating a desire to battle rap again. During the interview he specifically mentions Cassidy and Murder Mook.
"You gotta have $100K or more. I can't do it for free. That ain't my lane...Win, lose or draw - just for even stepping on the court," Meek said. "I'd do Cassidy and Mook right now. That would be crazy right there. Everybody know Cassidy that's what he do. It aint easy to get around them punchlines he gonna bring to you in a battle. I don't care what you say. Cassidy been in probably more than 5,000 battles and I don't think he had one L. And I don't think a new guy gonna step up and give him that L that easy. I ain't saying it ain't possible, but it won't be easy."
Cassidy responded several days later in an interview with QDeezy bysaying he would be happy to battle Meek.
"Meek a household name. You bring him up everybody know who you talking about. He just dropped an album. He got a wave right now. And I just seen the video. We definitely could get a nice crowd and get some crazy sponsers to put some chicken up. So, it would be beneficial for me to do something like that," Cassidy said. "I'd love to do that because it would be beneficial. I'd get some credibility for biting somebody head off. And I'd get a nice little check out of it. I'm with it. We can do it whenever n*ggas ready. Make it happen, put it together and make it make sense."
Meek then responded by saying he didn't want to battle anymore.
Why Meek decided to pour gas on the fire last night is anybody's guess, but what hip hop fans want to see happen now is an actual battle. Will that ever happen? We'll just have to wait and see.

Andre 3000 is one of the most sought after hip hop artists for features, but he rarely accepts the offers unless he feels the project is worthy.
In a recent interview with Fuse, 3 Stacks talks about a record he recently recorded with T.I. and how it came about.
"Me and T.I. been trying to do a song for long, long time," Andre said. "It was always for me. It's always about the actual song or the project. I never say I'm gonna do something just to do it. So, I went to the studio and checked out some music and as that song came on and his lyrics came on it kind of hit home for me. And I was like 'hey, this is the song that I want to be a part of.' And that name of the song is called Sorry, check it out."
Andre said he's not sure when or if there will be another Outkast album.
"There could be [an Outkast reunion] I just can't say right now. If we decide to do something you'll know about it," he said. "The internet is such a misinformation age right now. So much bad stuff that you don't even know what to believe. So don't believe anything about Outkast until we say it"
