T.I. has recruited some heavyweights for his highly anticipated eighth studio album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head. He sat down with Rap-Up TV to talk about how he and Pink linked up for the T-Minus-produced song "Guns and Roses."

"We've known each other for the duration of our careers," Tip said. "When we both on LaFace Records, she and I were both working on out first albums together in Atlanta. We spent a lot of time around each other and we found that we had a few things in common. We clicked because she real people, she from the streets. I'm a real cat I'm from the streets. We just always connected. We were just waiting for the appropriate time and the opportunity to collaborate. And this particular record seemed perfect."

Tip also announced that a sequel titled Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown is coming next.

The Port Arthur, Texas rap duo UGK will be receiving a well deserved honor today when they will be inducted into the Gulf Coast Museum’s Music Hall of Fame.

Bun B and the late Pimp C have influenced the hip hop industry in many ways since they hit the scene in 1988 with the cassette only EP titled The Southern Way, which featured the songs "Short Texas" and "Tell Me Something Good."

Almost every rapper from the South has paid homage to the group at one time or another.

The duo went on to release ground breaking albums like Too Hard To Swallow, Super Tight, Ridin' Dirty, Underground Kingzand more.

12349702455?profile=original

Their biggest commercial success was a collaboration with Jay-Z titled "Big Pimpin" off of Hov's 1999 album Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter. The song almost didn't happen because Pimp C thought it was too commercial.

"It sounded like a pop record to me," Pimp told MTV News' Sway during a prison visit in 2005. "I didn't want to do it. It scared me, because I didn't know how people was going to take us going in that direction. But I remember Jay telling me, 'Look, family: It's going to be the biggest record of your career. If you don't do it for yourself, just do it for me.' That was good enough for me, so I jumped on it."

Pimp C died on December 4, 2007, but Bun B has kept his name alive by continuing to put out quality music.

For those who would like to watch UGK's induction into the Gulf Coast Museum's Music Hall of Fame simply tune in by clicking HERE today at 2 p.m. central to watch the event live on USTREAM.

Video After The Jump

Looks like Katt Williams won't be satisfied until he's sitting in jail. After leading police on a wild chase while riding a three-wheeled motorcycle last Sunday, the volatile comedian paid a visit to a Target store where he physically assaulted an employee.

TMZ obtained footage of the incident. There is not audio, but Katt and the employee are talking when Katt suddenly slaps him in the face.

12349700465?profile=original

A second video that does have audio shows the aftermath of the scene. While the employee calls the police, Katt says "I'll stand outside and wait" before hopping on an electric cart.

Katt, who was already wanted by Sacramento police for felony evasion after the police chase earlier that day exits the store and hops on his three-wheeled motorcycle and leaves the scene.

So far no charges have been filed against Katt for slapping the employee. The DA's office says the case is currently under review

Video After The Jump

25-year old Jovan Belcher, a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs, committed suicide today in front of his coaches and police officers outside the team's stadium, shortly after he fatally shot his girlfriend, police said.

Belcher, a fourth year player out of Maine reportedly shot his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins multiple times Saturday morning around 9 a.m. Perkins' mother called the police.

"The individual that called, the mother of the victim, stated that her daughter's boyfriend is the one who shot her and he is a Chiefs player," Kansas City Police spokesman Darin Snapp told ABC News Radio.

Perkins was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Belcher then drove to drove to Arrowhead Stadium where he spoke to Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel outside of the practice facility. Belcher thanked them for all they had done for him then shot himself in the head as police arrived.

12349697884?profile=original

"When the officers arrived, when they were pulling up, they actually observed a black male who had a gun to his head and he was talking to a couple of coaches out in the parking lot," Snapp said. "As officers pulled up, and began to park, that's when they heard the gunshot and it appears the individual took his own life."

Crennel and Pioli told police they never felt threatened by Belcher.

"They said the player was actually thanking them for everything they'd done for him," Snapp said. "They were just talking to him and he was thanking them and everything. That's when he walked away and shot himself."

Perkins and Belcher had a three-month old daughter together.

Some Chiefs player took to Twitter to express their shock over what happened.

The Chiefs released a statement: “We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning. We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation.”

WGCI's UB Rodriguez interviewed 50 Cent yesterday. Topics included 50's new fitness book Formula 50, SMS Promotions, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Chief Keef.

UB Rodriguez: Let's talk about you and Floyd Mayweather. I know that's your boy. Now you have this boxing promoting company. Was he the influence behind this?

50 Cent: Yeah, initially it was a venture we were going to do together. Floyd changed his mind and wanted to do some different things. Before he decided that he wanted to do things differently I had already obtained my promotions license in New York, Connecticut, Miami, Atlantic City and now Nevada. So I had went pretty far into the actual category before he decided he wanted to do something different.

UB: Hey Fifty what about the rumors of this promoter trying to pay you and Mayweather to get in the ring?

50: I heard about that too. I'll take it in a heartbeat. I'll make the weight. For $5 million dollars I will impress you. He'd be like 'hold up I didn't even know you had that in you Fif.'

UB: I don't see it happening 50.

50: You know Floyd ain't gonna do that. He won't even fight Manny [Pacquiao].

UB: So we've seen you go back and forth with Chief Keef on Twitter. I want to ask you personally. How do you feel about him?

50: In the beginning I took a huge liking to Chief Keef. I think he's a representation of what hip hop was when I fell in love with it. Someone out of the environment just offering what means something to him. Like when he's saying things he don't like. Everybody in Chicago in that neighborhood or those different areas would agree with those thing he said he don't like because they don't like them either. That's why the song connected. I started to talk to him because I wanted to help him because I saw things starting to spiral out of control and he could lose an opportunity that's priceless.

UB: Like what did you see and what do you think about his future?

50: I don't think he'll have the same success in sales, but it will be something that develops a cult like following. Because he decided to not show up to his actual video. And when he does that in the stages where you haven't sold any records yet. It's bad influences. It's people around him that aren't influencing him to do the right thing. It's really not him.

12349700867?profile=original

UB: So what exactly do you tell Chief Keef when you call him or sit down and talk to him 50?

50: I just tell him to make the adjustments. I tried to reach out to him. He's a little upset because I said something on Twitter. I said he didn't show up to his video, he don't know these people will pull the plug on him and they will. I don't want to make him upset or nothing because he's a baby. My son does the same thing to me.
