Drake is facing new accusations of threatening a female.

Internet model Shay G claims, Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, started sending her angry text messages after she posted photos on the internet of expensive purses he purchased for her.

The Young Money recording artist allegedly texted Shay saying that if he ever saw her anywhere, she's "getting run up outta there," according to TMZ.

The model was alarmed enough to have her dad contact Drake, who told him to leave her alone. Shay reported the situation to police in Arizona and an investigation has been launched.

Earlier this week Houston stripper Jhonni Blaze told police that members of Drake's entourage threatened her life after a sexual rendezvous. Blaze later retracted the claim and apologized publicly to the rapper.

The second season of Dream School is underway on Sundance TV. The 50 Cent-executive produced docu-series provides celebrity mentors for troubled teens, giving them the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in life.

The Grio recently say down with 50 to talk about why this season is different from the first.

"The way season one went with thirteen of the fifteen kids participating graduating, it's exciting," 50 said. "Changing from Los Angeles to New York, the tones of the kids are a little different. It definitely put them in the environments that I'm familiar with. That made me comfortable talking to them because all of the areas they're coming out of I've been there."

12351139077?profile=original

This season's mentors include Chuck D of Public Enemy, attorney Gloria Allred, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, restauranteur David Chang, screenwriter Cliff Dorfman, survival expert Les Stroud, actor Dean Winters and educator LouAnne Johnson.

Next season 50 hopes to have Jay Z and Dr. Dre on board.

12351138700?profile=original

"[Encouraging kids to finish high school] is really important. This is why I'm encouraging Jay and Dr. Dre to be on my season three," the music icon explained. "To get them here to talk to kids because they need to have the kids actually see them and feel the reality of who they are. And not just the persona."

Adrian Peterson is facing more legal problems after admitting to using marijuana while out on bond in his child abuse case, according to ESPN.

Peterson is accused of felony child abuse for whipping his 4-year old son. He turned himself in to Montgomery County, Texas authorities on September 13. The Minnesota Vikings running back posted bond of $15,000 and was released the same day. He was ordered to submit to drug tests as a condition of his release.

12351142298?profile=original

Peterson made a court appearance Wednesday, October 8. While submitting a urine test he admitted to "smoking a little weed."

Prosecutors have filed paperwork seeking to have AP's bond revoked and want him re-arrested for violating the terms of his bond.

Peterson hasn't been allowed to play in an NFL game since the allegations of child abuse came to light last month. He's been placed on the NFL's exempt list. If convicted of the charges he could face up to two years in prison.

Video And Pics After The Jump

Darryl McDaniels of the legendary hip hop group Run-DMC is giving urban youth characters they can relate in the form of a new comic book with Latino characters.

"I didn't want to be another rapper who was trying to capitalize on the hip hop genre just because I had a hit record," DMC told the New York Daily News. "I wanted to tackle real issues head on."

12351148901?profile=original

The Hollis Queens, New York native partnered with Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez to bring the comic book to life through his independent publishing house, Daryl Makes Comics.

12351148688?profile=original

Real life issues such as AIDS, drug addiction, domestic violence, homophobia and teenage pregnancy will be addressed in throughout the issues.

DMC has hired Latino illustrators and writers, who will bring to life characters that mirror society.

"Women are attacked, abused or killed an amazing number of times in comic books and we don't want to do that," says Miranda-Rodriguez. "We don't want to glorify abuse or victimize women. You will see yourself in the book because you are supposed to see yourself in the book,"

DMC's love for comic books fostered the idea to make his own.

"[We want] to let the world know we are going to do this comic book 100% authentic for comic book culture," DMC told Sway in the Morning during a 2013 interview. "This is not the rapper DMC doing a hip hop comic book. This is Darryl McDaniels, a comic book fiend doing a comic book. Batman, Superman, DMC. It ain't gonna be no rapping DMC. I'm a real official super hero. There's a new hero on the block so wake up y'all."

12351149299?profile=original

The first issue will be released on October 29, 2014. To pre-order please visit http://www.dmc-comics.com/.

Video After The Jump

“Scrappin The Pot” is a banger with bleak lyrics that’ll breathe life into the soul of the streets. Legendary Grammy-nominated, Philly-lyricist Neef Buck is back, this time around with the 7th installment of his street-cemented classic, Forever Do Me. Neef describes the Bobby Johnson-produced-single as: “…a record that stands for being and staying hungry for more. Getting everything you can get out of every situation - which could be anything in life.”

This record is a clear celebration for anyone familiar to the hustle - broke parents, starving artists, and filthy rich stockbrokers – this street-honest anthem is packed with lyrical proclamations to the streets and vivid stories over its subtle production. Neef has quite nailed a formula for delivering a club banger for the afternoon ride home.

Pras is taking legal action against the New York Post over what he calls "reckless reporting."

At issue is an article published by the Post on Sunday, October 5, alleging Pras, real name Prakazrel Samuel Michel, bailed on a September 11, 2014 show in New York City for his Hope for Them foundation. The story also claims the 41-year old former member of The Fugees falsely claimed MTV was sponsoring the event and that he bounced a check to the venue it was being held at.

12351134459?profile=original

Pras told the New York Daily News Confidenti@l that the story is completely false. He says he was on the West Coast on the day of the 9/11 show after returning from overseas.

“I was in L.A. when this event happened,” Pras told Confidenti@l. “I’d just come back from North Korea."

The rapper added that the Post didn't bother to fact check their article before publishing. The fallout from it has forced him to seek counseling.

“When you talk about charity, that is serious,” he said. “I have to litigate. You are provoking a specific emotion when you invoke 9/11. I’m going to see a therapist about this. I’m traumatized. And I’ve never seen a therapist in my life.”

He has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Post seeking $30 million in damages.
