Bay Area rapper Yung Lott was attempting to shoot a music video for his single entitled "DEMO" last week, but San Francisco police shut things down.
SF Gate reports that police handcuffed 20 men on the set and subsequently arrested 21-year-old Taj Williams on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun and gang allegations. Michael Higginbotham, 24, was popped for suspicion of selling drugs.
Director Brian Storm laid his camera down out of fear of getting shot. It continued to roll however and filmed the entire incident.
Storm was detained while being cuffed and searched. He was later released without being arrested or cited.
He gave his thoughts on the incident in a description of the video clip uploaded to YouTube.
"Young men in a poverty stricken neighborhood, purposely staying busy to stay out of trouble, gathered together to do something positive, creative, and productive and ended up being violently stereotyped and prejudged. When there are many murders in San Francisco, is something as harmless as young men shooting a video something almost the entire sfpd needed to be in one place, armed for? If this is the response for that, why is it that when we in poverty stricken neighborhoods need and or call on the sfpd, they do not show up? Food for thought."
What's your take on this situation?

Lil Wayne's DJ is in love with the "CoCo," just not the right version. During a concert at Nova Southeastern University in Florida on Thursday, March 12, the two weren't on the same page.
Wayne remixed O.T. Genasis' hit record "CoCo" for his Sorry for the Wait 2 mixtape. When it was time to perform it last night the DJ put on the wrong version causing Wayne to get heated.
Wayne stopped his performance, threw his mic toward the DJ booth, then stormed off stage ending the show.
Fans were left wondering what the hell had just happened. No word on if they got refunds.
**UPDATE** March 14
Young Money President Mack Maine has saved DJ 4our 5ive's job. TMZ reports that Wayne was angry because 4our 5ive had been screwing up all night. The last straw was when he put on the wrong version of "CoCo."
Wayne's remixed version is a Birdman/Cash Money diss. It was supposed to close the show, but the DJ apparently didn't get the memo.
All's well that ends well though. After Mack and Weezy talked the rapper agreed to continue working with 4our 5ive.

Manny Pacquiao and his family will be living in luxury in the weeks leading up to his May 2nd fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
TMZ Sports reports that the Filipino boxing champion has just purchased Diddy's former Beverly Hills mansion for a cool $12.5 million.
Pacquiao didn't want to bother with furnishing the home, so he purchased the 7 bedroom, 7 bath crib that has a $200,000 home theater with everything (art, furniture, appliances) already in it.
The owners also agreed to stock the wet bar as part of the deal.
Diddy sold the mansion in 2001, after owning it for several years. The price is small change to Pacquiao. He'll make at least $80 million for his fight with Floyd.

ATLANTA (Associated Press) — The ministry of a prominent Georgia megachurch pastor and evangelist who teaches that God wants to bless the faithful with earthly riches is seeking donations to buy a luxury jet valued at more than $65 million.
The website of Creflo Dollar Ministries asked people Friday to "Sow your love gift of any amount" to help the ministry buy a Gulfstream G650 airplane. Dollar and his wife, Taffi, are co-pastors of World Changers International Church in College Park, just south of Atlanta.
Dollar is one of the most prominent African-American preachers based around Atlanta who have built successful ministries on the prosperity gospel. Ministers in this tradition often hold up their own wealth as evidence that the teaching works.
The ministry's current plane, acquired in 1999, was built in 1984, has traveled more than 4 million miles and is no longer safe, spokesman Juda Engelmayer said. On a recent trip overseas, one of the engines failed, but the pilot was able to land safely and no one was injured, the ministry's website says.
"(W)e are asking members, partners, and supporters of this ministry to assist us in acquiring a Gulfstream G650 airplane so that Pastors Creflo and Taffi and World Changers Church International can continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace," the ministry's website says.
Gulfstream's website lists an asking price of $67,950,000 for a G650 with a flight record of 1,616 hours and 625 landings since it entered service in mid-December.
Members of the ministry travel for much of the year bringing their message, food and supplies to people around the world, Engelmayer said. They need a plane that's fuel efficient, faster, with enough cargo capacity and enough seats, he said.
The G650 "flies at more than 92 percent of the speed of sound," typically holds about 18 seated passengers and can take off with a maximum weight of 99,600, according to Gulfstream's website.
Numerous online reports quoted the ministry website as saying: "We are believing for 200,000 people to give contributions of 300 US dollars or more to turn this dream into a reality."
On Friday afternoon, that line was gone, and the website instead said: "Your love gift of any amount will be greatly appreciated."
When asked about the change, Engelmayer replied in an email: "The ministry operates on the goodness of its followers and has always been a donor based organization. Every gift given is heartfelt and appreciated, and people who wish will give at the level comfortable to their situation and ability."
Soon after that, the website's entire page about the plane appeared disabled.
Dollar, who has five children, is a native of College Park and says he received a vision for the church in 1986. He held the first service in front of eight people in an elementary school cafeteria. His ministry grew quickly and the church moved into its current 8,500-seat sanctuary, on Dec. 24, 1995.
Dollar said in a 2007 interview with The Associated Press that he renounced his church salary, and his income comes only from personal investments, including a real estate business and horse breeding company called Dollar Ranch. He's also published more than 30 books, focusing mostly on family and life issues, including debt management.
He said he can get up to $100,000 for a single appearance on his packed schedule of speaking engagements.

We'd like to extend our deepest condolences to Kevin Gates for the loss of his beloved grandmother.
The sometimes controversial rapper shared a photo on Instagram of her after she passed. In the pic he's covering her mouth with his hand.
"Viewing the body of the woman I called my mama before my show,I'm a miss you I love you forever R.I.P. #Abuela #BWA #idgt," reads the caption.
The photo is drawing mixed reactions from other IG users. Some believe it's disrespectful, while others empathize with the rapper's pain.
What's your take on the picture? Does the placement of a hand over the mouth have a significant meaning?

Madonna stopped by the Howard Stern Show recently to promote her new Rebel Heart album. During a discussion about a 1994 appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman where the pop icon repeatedly cursed, she casually made the revelation that she was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and suggested she was "feeling gangster" that night because of the rapper's influence.
"I don't know, I was in a weird mood that day," Madonna said of the David Letterman appearance. "I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time, and the thing is he got me all riled up about life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangster."

The fight that everyone has been hoping to see will finally go down on May 2nd at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will step into the ring to settle once and for all who is the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world today.
50 Cent offered his opinion on the fight and his current relationship with Floyd while chatting with EntScoop.
"It's the biggest fight we can make right now for the sport of boxing," 50 said. "Champ, like I've said consistently is like my younger brother. I actually ran into him recently at the Chris Brown concert. He came and we talked a little bit. Even if I was angry with him, in the heat of that I would stop in the middle of a fight this big. I should be out there."
