After hearing of Kanye's plans to run for president in 2020, Scarface told VladTV, "Me knowing Kanye like I know Kanye, Kanye will say any motherf***ing thing." The Houston emcee added that "He'll do it," before dropping an explosive bombshell about Kanye originally planning to feature him on "Jesus Walks."

When asked why things didn't work out, Scarface explained that he believes that he got tied up at the time, which is something that Jay Z always teases him about when they see each other. The "On My Block" rapper also told us that he was afraid of his own success at the time after seeing what it did to others around him.

During the conversation Scarface also spoke about having freedom in his hometown of Houston, but being mobbed in other cities, which you can hear more about in the clip below.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Internal affairs detectives are investigating claims by former tennis professional James Blake that he was thrown to the ground and then handcuffed while mistakenly being arrested Wednesday at a hotel, police said.

Blake, who's biracial, told the Daily News he wasn't sure if he was arrested because of his race but said the officer who put him in handcuffs inappropriately used force.

"To me it's as simple as unnecessary police force, no matter what my race is," he told the newspaper. "In my mind there's probably a race factor involved, but no matter what, there's no reason for anybody to do that to anybody."

One officer was placed on modified assignment after investigators reviewed surveillance footage, the New York Police Department said in a statement early Thursday. It said a probe of the incident was ongoing.

A cooperating witness misidentified Blake to detectives investigating fraudulently purchased cellphones as one of two people he recognized as being involved with the scheme, NYPD spokesman Stephen Davis said.

"Once Blake was properly identified and found to have no connection to the investigation, he was released from police custody immediately," Davis said in a statement.

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, speaking on the NY1 cable television news station, said Blake "has a right to be upset." Bratton vowed to aggressively address Blake's allegations.

"It's very disturbing," Bratton said. "The nature of what he described is not what we do. It's not what we're supposed to do."

Officers arrested a suspect in the cellphone scam at the Grand Hyatt New York hotel in Manhattan during a controlled buy earlier Wednesday, police said. It was after that buy that a deliveryman with the cellphone company pointed out Blake and another man in the hotel lobby as having purchased cellphones the day before, officers said.

The second man, who Bratton said was standing next to Blake, was taken into custody. A hotel security guard, a former member of the NYPD, recognized Blake, prompting the arresting officers to confirm his identity.

Bratton said internal affairs detectives were sent to the hotel and had already identified several witnesses.

Blake's last tournament as a professional was the 2013 U.S. Open, at which he lost in the first round of singles and doubles. He was ranked as high as No. 4 in the world and reached three Grand Slam quarterfinals, including at the U.S. Open in 2005 and 2006.

Blake, 35, was born in Yonkers and went to high school in Connecticut. He attended Harvard University before turning pro in 1999.

Diddy is off the hook in the UCLA incident that led to him allegedly swinging a kettle bell at the school's Strength and Conditioning coach Sal Alosi, back in June.

The business mogul became upset at the treatment of his son, Justin Combs, during a workout session and confronted Alosi afterwards in the locker room.

12351743884?profile=original

Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault and making terrorist threats.

After a meeting the UCLA coaches decided they didn't want him to be charged, but he was barred from attending practice.

TMZ reports that Diddy will now have to attend an informal office hearing with the L.A. City Attorney on October 15. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, and others involved in the incident will also be there.

It's likely that he will be either ordered to take anger management classes or be asked to simply not lose his cool again.

Right now all across America, police and community relations seem to be at an all time low.
It seems like everyday we wake up to more footage of police brutality, outrage, and empathy from people of all walks of life.
In the wake of the prosecutors decision to not file charges against Olympia, WA police officer Ryan Donald in the shooting of two young, unarmed black men in May of 2015,
Ang P of The Real Life Click delivers a track with a message based on some of the frustrations we have with these issues.

 LISTEN TO IT HERE

"Street Lights" features Ang P spitting at his best.
Well thought out lyrics about urban life that will definitely spark minds and conversation while still making you nod your head.
The smooth Know Life production allows Ang P to glide over the beat and let his words be felt.
Then just when you get into a comfortable groove, we get to the harsh reality.
The Smoke M2D6 production immediately makes you feel the anger and pain.
We hope you enjoy this record.
If you need anything, have anything we can help with, or have any questions please feel free to reach out.
We look forward to continuing a building relationship with y'all
Salute!
- Evan "Miz" Perez of The RLC

Beverly Johnson seems to have found inner peace by forgiving Bill Cosby for allegedly drugging her at his New York brownstone in the mid-80's. She prevented the encounter from going any further by repeatedly calling him a motherfucker.

That made him so angry he reportedly dragged her out of his place and put her in a taxi without uttering a word.

During an appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 9th, the former supermodel was asked what she would say to the actor/comedian if she saw him today.

"I forgive you," she said before speaking about what she thinks should happen to him. "I'm going to leave that to the Justice Department. I just feel that he's a lightning rod for a much bigger conversation. And that conversation would be the rape culture in America."

We've seen new rappers seemingly come out of nowhere in the past couple of years to become overnight stars. Bobby Shmurda and Trinidad James come to mind immediately.

Next up could be Slim Jesus?

Heavy.com reports that the 18-year old is from Ohio. His music video for "Drill Time" borrows heavily from Chicago's Drill music scene with it's violent lyrics and imagery. It's racked up over 580,000 views since it's August 18th release.

A disclaimer points out that the weapons in the video are just props and should not be confused with real guns.

DMX's son, Xavier, is looking to jump start his music career by selling some of his father's prized possessions. The problem is he's doing it without permission.

Dark Man X, real name Earl Simmons, is heated that Xavier has put the platinum plaques for the albums "And Then There Was X" and "Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood" on eBay for a total of $3,000.

The items were left behind when DMX was kicked out of Xavier's mom's home in 2007. The rapper told TMZ he considers the sale to be the ultimate act of betrayal.

BALTIMORE (AP) — The family of Freddie Gray, who died after being critically injured in police custody, reached a $6.4 million wrongful death settlement with the city of Baltimore, resolving civil claims about a week after the first hearing in the criminal case against six police officers, officials said Tuesday.

Six Baltimore police officers face criminal charges stemming from Gray's death. Gray, who was black, was critically injured April 12 in the back of a prisoner transport van after he was arrested. His death sparked protests, rioting and unrest that shook Baltimore for days.

12351736452?profile=original

The settlement still needs the approval of a board that oversees city spending. The board meets Wednesday.

"The proposed settlement agreement going before the board of estimates should not be interpreted as a judgment on the guilt or innocence of the officers facing trial," Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said in a news release. "This settlement is being proposed solely because it is in the best interest of the city, and avoids costly and protracted litigation that would only make it more difficult for our city to heal and potentially cost taxpayers many millions more in damages."

The settlement does not resolve any factual disputes, and expressly does not constitute an admission of liability on the part of the city, its police department or any of the officers. The settlement has nothing whatsoever to do with the criminal proceedings, the press release said.

Initial police reports said Gray was arrested with a knife, though whether Gray was legally carrying that knife is sure to be a centerpiece of the case as it moves to trial. Prosecutors say it's legal under a city ordinance, while defense attorneys argue that it's a switchblade, and thus illegal under both city and state law.

12351736084?profile=original

All six officers, including Edward Nero and Garrett Miller, are charged with second-degree assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment. Lt. Brian Rice, Sgt. Alicia White and Officer William Porter also face a manslaughter charge, while Officer Caesar Goodson faces the most serious charge of all: second-degree "depraved-heart" murder.

Three of the officers are black and three are white.

Kid Ink was recently asked about Kevin Gates kicking a female fan. While not condoning Gates' behavior, Kid did say fans get out of hand occasionally.

"I've had females grab me. You do kinda gotta move 'em," he said. "I don't know his situation. Maybe his leg was the only thing that could push her out the way. Sometimes the fans be a little too aggressive. And I think we get taken more for trying to get away more than they get in trouble for being so aggressive."
