Tarantino told The Telegraph that it was "about damn time."
“All of a sudden, people started talking about the Confederacy in America in a way they haven’t before,” he said. “I mean, I’ve always felt the Rebel flag was some American Swastika. And, well, now, all of a sudden, people are talking about it, and now they’re banning it, and now it’s not OK to have it on fucking licence plates, and coffee cups, and stuff. And people are starting to question about stuff like statues of Bedford Forrest [the Confederate general and Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard] in parks. Well, it’s about damn time, if you ask me.”

The Las Vegas Police Department have named Chris Brown as a suspect in a battery investigation.
A woman by the name of Liziane Gutierrez claims she attended a private party inside Brown's suite at the Palms Casino Resort hotel Saturday morning, January 2.
She snuck her cell phone in without security noticing and took a picture of the singer. He reportedly yelled at her, before allegedly punching her once in right the eye, according to TMZ.
Gutierrez left the party and called police.
Brown performed atDrai's NightclubatThe Cromwellhotel Friday night.
Chris Brown is adamant ... the woman accusing him of punching her in the face is a liar and was just upset she got kicked out of his private party.
A rep for the singer tells TMZ Liziane Gutierrez was booted from the party at The Palms Saturday morning for being disruptive and out of control. We're told once she was in the hallway and waiting for her phone, she had a total meltdown, throwing her purse and claiming she "could buy everyone in the hotel."
As for her phone, the rep tells us Liziane never had it inside the party and her story about Chris becoming enraged when she tried to take a pic is a complete lie.
Chris' people say the police report is merely a case of retaliation for Gutierrez's bruised ego.
MEXICO CITY (AP) — The mayor of a city south of Mexico's capital was shot to death on Saturday, less than a day after taking office, officials said.
Gunmen burst into the house of Mayor Gisela Mota in the city of Temixco and killed her, said the government of Morelos state, where Temixco is located. Two presumed assailants were killed and two others detained, said Morelos Gov. Graco Ramirez in the government statement.

2 men taken into custody for the murder of Mayor Gisela Mota
Officials attributed her killing to organized crime.
Mota's leftist Democratic Revolution Party released a statement describing her as "a strong and brave woman who on taking office as mayor, declared that her fight against crime would be frontal and direct."
Temixco is a city of about 100,000 people neighboring Cuernavaca, a resort and industrial city which has been suffering kidnappings and extortion linked to organized crime groups. Though Cuernavaca is the state capital of Morelos, Temixco is the seat of several state institutions including the Public Security Commission, which coordinates state and local police forces. Morelos also neighbors drug cartel-plagued Guerrero state.
Mota, who had been a federal congresswoman, was sworn into office on New Year's Day. She was killed the following day.

Morelos Gov. Ramirez vowed there "would be no impunity" in her killing and promised that state officials would not cede to the challenge presented by organized crime.
Federal and state forces are deployed in Cuernavaca and municipalities near the Guerrero state border in what is called "Operation Delta."
Local mayors and officials in Mexico have often been targeted by drug cartels.

In regards to Diddy's latest mixtape MMM, Sheek was unable to get on it due to his conflicted tour dates. "Yo Sheek, I called you first before anybody to get on this shit," Diddy told him. "I definitely wanted to get on that project and I support it and salute it, but I just been [sic] running around like crazy," he explained to DJ Vlad.
After touching on ghostwriting in different genres, Sheek Louch went on to discuss the differences between rap and rock stars. Elite rock-n-roll stars usually continue to perform until they are no longer able to, "but they put an age limit on rap 'cause they wanted to fucking get rid of it," according to Sheek. "First they thought it was gonna be some overnight shit, so since it wasn't they made it like 'it has to be young boy shit or don't do it no more.' it's crazy...It's no need to stop if you better than them young niggas. Facts."
Earlier this year VladTV spoke with famed producer Zaytoven, who told us that Migos "changed the sound of rap forever," which group members Quavo and Takeoff responded to during a recent sit-down. Both rappers agreed with Zaytoven's comments, and Quavo specifically added that he wishes Migos would get the respect he feels they deserve for changing the sound of music forever.
During the conversation Migos also spoke about Drake amplifying the use of the "Migos flow" after jumping on the "Versace" remix. They explained that after Drake mimicked their flow, it started a trend of other rapperers trying to achieve the same sound by using the eighth note triplet flow. Though Gangsta Boo has credited the flow's origin to Lord Infamous and 2Chainz credited it to Three 6 Mafia as a whole.
Check out more of what Takeoff and Quavo had to say during the interview above, including how they started investing big money into their music before they hit it big.
