TMZ -- Damon Dash was picked up Wednesday by cops for failing to pay 2 of his baby mama's overdue child support -- but luckily for him ... he was able to walk free shortly after the bust.
The hip-hop mogul -- who says he's recently fallen into dire straits with money -- was arrested in NYC after attempting to clear up two different warrants in his name for unpaid child support dough a judge says he owes Rachel Roy and Cindy Morales.
Dame's got 2 daughters with the former, and a son with the latter. Earlier this year, it was revealed he owed nearly $400k to both women ... but hadn't paid up yet. He told us at the time he would -- but it appears he hadn't yet, and those debts have since ballooned.
Fast-forward to Wednesday ... when Dame went to the city to try to take care of both warrants. The guy himself tells us he popped into a Manhattan courthouse, paid off about a million dollars to clear one warrant ... and then tried going to another courthouse to deal with the other one.
Thing is ... Dame says as soon as he stepped out of the courtroom to head to the other place, cops were all over him -- about 7 deputies, we're told. They cuffed him and processed him -- and Dame says the officers then escorted him to the Bronx to take care of the rest of his tab. All in all, we're told Dame ended up cashing out over a mil to clear his name.
Dame tells us the deputies he dealt with were incredibly kind and cooperative with him. While it may suck he got busted for the child support -- at least it's finally taken care of.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WSOCTV) - Police have charged a woman two months after her 3-year-old son fell to his death inside the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Jaiden Cowart fell on Sept. 25 in a stairway near the baggage claim area, officials said.
The boy's mother said that after a trip from Florida, she was trying to pick up the family's baggage with her three small children.
She said Jaiden was standing a few feet away, leaning up against the glass part of an escalator. He somehow got caught in the handrail, was pulled up in the escalator, and fell.
Jaiden was taken to Atrium Health, where he later died.
On Tuesday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police issued warrants on her for misdemeanor child abuse.
Last month, Channel 9 spoke with Jaiden's mother, who said she is devastated and grieving.
Her attorney said she's now almost reliving the tragedy.
“We went from saying this is an accident, now saying that you’ve committed a crime,” attorney Michael Greene said.
Greene said he thinks police are moving to charge his client because they believe she wasn’t properly supervising her children.
“She was caring for a 4-, 3- and 2-year-old and trying to arrange a ride from the airport,” Greene said. “I’m here saying she’s not guilty of misdemeanor child abuse.”
Greene said he and his client plan to fight the charges all the way.
“This is one of those incidents that could’ve happened to any one of the members of this community, and, unfortunately, the decision came down to charge her with a crime. And I’ll be here to walk her through the process,” Greene said.

(CNN) -- A Tennessee dance teacher who appeared on a reality show has pleaded guilty to the statutory rape of a teenager and exposing him to the HIV virus, prosecutors said.
John Conner III was scheduled to go on trial this week, but entered the guilty plea to felony charges of criminal exposure to HIV, statutory rape by an authority figure, and solicitation of a minor, Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich said Tuesday in a news release.
Conner was once featured on the Lifetime reality TV dance show "Bring It," which showcased competitive dance teams in the Mid-South, including Conner's Memphis team, CNN affiliate WMC reported.
Conner was 26 years old in 2015 when he met the then-16-year-old boy on a social media website, prosecutors said. Conner had unprotected sex several times with the teenager in the dance teacher's vehicle.
The teenager joined Conner's dance team, the Infamous Dancerettes, and the two continued to exchange nude photos and text messages about their sexual activity, prosecutors said. Conner did not tell the teenager about his HIV diagnosis in 2012, authorities said.
In August 2016, the teenager told his parents about the sexual encounters with Conner and said he thought he should be tested after hearing that his dance teacher had HIV. The teenager tested positive for HIV, prosecutors said.
Conner is scheduled to be sentenced on December 20.
He has two similar cases pending with sexual partners, ages 17 and 24, prosecutors said.
CNN's Darran Simon contributed to this report.

ESPN -- Antonio Brown is countersuing Britney Taylor for defamation and interference with his NFL contracts and endorsements, according to documents obtained Wednesday by ESPN.
Brown, the subject of an NFL investigation over Taylor's allegations of rape and sexual assault, is denying the accusations against him and requesting a jury trial.
Taylor had served Brown with a lawsuit in Florida's Broward County Circuit Court on Nov. 1 and gave him 45 days to respond.
In that response, Brown said his sexual relationship with Taylor was always consensual and that Taylor attempted to secure a $1.65 million investment from Brown for her gymnastics business shortly after he signed a $72 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the documents state.
Brown signed a confidentiality agreement with Taylor on March 8 while "under duress," the documents state. Two days later, Brown was traded from the Steelers to the Oakland Raiders as part of a three-year, $54 million extension. The countersuit claims Taylor's "false accusations" earlier this year affected his business dealings of which she had previous knowledge while spending significant time with him in 2017 and 2018, including working as his trainer for a period of time.
The wide receiver says the confidentiality agreement precludes him from discussing "a number of relevant events" that he deems essential to the case. The document states that Taylor met with NFL investigators for 10 hours, "however, when asked to waive the terms of the confidentiality agreement so that both she and Brown could testify freely, she refused."
As a result, Brown will be amending his countersuit to reflect civil conspiracy, the document states.
In the original lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Taylor accuses Brown of sexually assaulting her on three occasions in 2017 and 2018. That suit was refiled in Broward County.
Prior to that suit's filing, Brown and Taylor had entered into settlement talks, with sources telling ESPN's Jeff Darlington that Brown declined to sign a $2 million-plus agreement.
Brown and Taylor knew each other at Central Michigan before Brown entered the NFL draft in 2010, and the documents state the two had cursory communication from then until 2017.
"In summary, after enduring a failed business endeavor and also failing to gain the relationship status she desired with Brown, Taylor began a vicious campaign of lies and deceit targeting Brown both personally and professionally," Brown's filing states. "Taylor's acts have all but ruined Brown's career, causing him to lose a number of substantial and lucrative business contracts, and impacting the public persona in such a manner as to cause Brown and his family significant personal and financial harm."
The NFL, which interviewed Brown last week as part of its investigation, is aware of the filing, according to a source.
Taylor's attorney, David Haas, said his client will "not be bullied."
"Today, Antonio Brown countersued the woman he raped and blamed her for the self-destructive conduct that led to the demise of his NFL career," Haas said in a statement. "In the past, Defendant Brown has used intimidation to avoid responsibility for his actions. However, Ms. Taylor will not be bullied and remains steadfast in holding Defendant Brown accountable."
Brown is out of the league as troubles continue to follow him. After Taylor's suit surfaced in September, Brown also was accused of sexual misconduct at his home by an artist who was working there in 2017.
He was released by the Raiders for conduct detrimental to the team and signed with the New England Patriots, who released him after one game.
Brown is trying to get back into the league, and he publicly apologized to Patriots owner Robert Kraft on Tuesday for all the drama he caused.

TMZ -- Black people would've boycotted the Harriet Tubman movie back in the day if a studio exec got his wish for Julia Roberts to play the legendary abolitionist ... so says Harriet's relative.
Harriet's great-great-great-grandniece, Tina Wyatt, tells TMZ ... the movie would've been blacklisted in the black community because it would've been a slap in the face, and utterly disrespectful if Julia were cast to play the black woman who helped free countless slaves.
As you know ... screenwriter Gregory Allen Howard claims a Hollywood exec listened to his movie pitch for a Tubman project more than 25 years ago and told the room Julia should play Harriet. Howard says someone pointed out the fact Tubman was black and Roberts was white, and the exec said it was so long ago no one would know the difference.
Harriet's relative says it's insulting the exec would think black people would be so ignorant as to not know their own history.
The Tubman movie is finally in theaters -- with a black woman playing Harriet -- and Tina thinks white folks should check it out and brush up on their history because she's noticed an alarming trend.

Page Six -- Embattled music mogul Damon Dash was arrested on Wednesday afternoon — accused of owing more than $400,000 in child support.
Dash, who is best known for founding Roc-A-Fella records with Jay-Z, was led into Bronx Family Court in cuffs after two felony warrants were issued for his arrest, the New York City Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
“We’ve been looking to arrest him since 2015,” NYC Sheriff Joseph Fucito said, confirming the former record executive was nabbed in Manhattan without incident.
Authorities have spent the last four years trying to convince Dash to turn himself in after he fled New York, one law enforcement source said.
The 49-year-old is accused of owing hundreds of thousands of dollars in child support to his two baby mamas but says he is broke — filing legal documents last week claiming he has no income.
The sheriff’s office confirmed the arrest warrants were issued in relation to the $404,000 in child support that Dash owed to ex-wife Rachel Roy and baby mama Cindy Morales.
In April 2015, a Bronx family court judge issued an arrest warrant for Dash — ordering him to pay $62,000 to Morales. This year, a Supreme Court divorce warrant was issued for Dash after he was found guilty of contempt of court and was ordered to pay $342,000 to Roy.
On Wednesday, Dash emerged from family court holding hands with his fiancee Raquel Horn — two lawyers and a private film crew in tow — and ranted about how he had been crucified “just like Jesus Christ” while claiming he had paid the child support and had no cash flow problems.
“Ain’t no money problems,” the mogul said, dressed in dark shades and a camel coat, as a small crowd of fans gathered outside court.
“I went to turn myself in with money! I already paid it! And I still walked it with cuffs,” he railed, adding: “No more warrants. Everything is clear.”
But in a filing in Manhattan federal court last week, Dash said his personal income was “virtually nonexistent” and claimed his only revenue stream was payments from “Empire” creator Lee Daniels who owed him $2 million.
Dash, a father of three, said he was facing additional unexpected expenses because his current fiancée, Raquel Horn, was pregnant.
In November, Daniels and Dash settled a $2 million feud over claims Dash was cut out of producer credits and profits on the hit series — with Daniels agreeing to pay the music producer in installments.
But in his Manhattan filing, Dash said the money hadn’t been forthcoming and claimed the payments had been held up because creditors were garnishing his income.
“It is very difficult to address the mounting bills until I receive some relief from the courts,” he wrote.
On Wednesday, the record executive accused both his baby mamas of gouging him for cash.
“They’re pieces of dog shit because they put money before family values,” Dash said. “I’m very disappointed in Rachel in not caring about her children, relationship with her children, before bread. It’s all been about money.”
Attorneys for Dash, Roy and Morales did not immediately respond to request for comment.

You knew it was coming, it was just a matter of when.
Charles Barkley has apologized for remarks he made to Axios reporter, Alexi McCammond.
As we previously reported, the NBA Hall of Famer and McCammond were discussing the 2020 presidential on Tuesday when he told her, “I don’t hit women but if I did I would hit you.”
The comments were supposed to be off the record, but McCammond posted them to her Twitter account.
Barkley's apology came via a tweet from Turner Sports Public Relations. Turner Sports owns TNT where Barkley works as an analyst on NBA broadcasts.
“My comment was inappropriate and unacceptable," the statement read. "It was an attempted joke that wasn’t funny at all. There’s no excuse for it and I apologize.”
McCammond responded by retweeting the apology and added a written response.
"The comments Charles Barkley made to me are not acceptable," McCammond wrote. "Threats of violence are not a joke, & no person deserves to be hit or threatened like that. Silence only allows the culture of misogyny to fester. And those kinds of comments don't merit off-the-record protections."
This may or may not be the end of the saga depending on how Turner Sports chooses to handle it from here.

The reporter at the center of a firestorm surrounding Charles Barkley may now find herself in hot water.
Alexi McCammond accused Charles Barkley of threatening her with violence when he reportedly told her, “I don’t hit women but if I did I would hit you.”
The two were in the middle of a discussion Tuesday about the 2020 presidential election when the comments were made.
Barkley has since issued a public apology to the Axios reporter.
Since then, someone has dug up old tweets from McCammond in which she disparages Asians.
On September 3, 2011 she tweeted, "now googling how to not wake up with swollen, asian eyes..."
That was followed up on October 15, 2011 when McCammond wrote, "give me a 2/10 on my chem problem, cross out all of my work and don't explain what I did wrong..thanks a lot stupid asian T.A. you're great."
There's been no response from McCammond or Axios since the tweets were uncovered.

After the first film crossed the $1 billion mark in earnings, it should come as no surprise that there is talk of a sequel to "Joker."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joaquin Phoenix will reprise his role as Arthur Fleck.
Director Todd Phillips is in talks to repeat his role as director for a second Joker outing (he and Scott Silver, who penned the original Joker screenplay, will write the follow-up), THR reports.
Phillips also managed to convince Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich, to allow him to use at least one other DC characters' origin story for the film.
No word on when production may start on "Joker 2."
