In Episode 1, eight of the world's best battle rappers check into the "House of Slaughter", along with team mentors Loaded Lux and Murda Mook. It's all fun and games from the outside, but tension rises as the hours tick closer to the first battles of the tournament. Tournament judges Slaughterhouse show up to greet contestants at the house, but when Murda Mook comes in with a surprise wild card entry, it becomes clear that no one is safe in the House of Slaughter. Episode 2 premieres on Fuse Wednesday June 25th at 12am ET / 11pm CT / 9pm PT.

— Chene Park (@chenepark) June 23, 2014As we previously reported, Rick Ross was unable to perform at Detroit's 107.5's Summer Jamz 17 after falling victim to Trick Trick's 'No Fly Zone."
Ross and his entourage were met by at least 100 individuals and blocked when they attempted to enter Chene Park, the venue where the concert was being held.

The Right Productions, Inc., operators of Chene Park issued a statement regarding the situation.
“This incident greatly saddens me and our entire team at The Right Productions who work so diligent to host and produce outstanding entertainment performances at Chene Park. Reports from our venue operations and security teams indicate nearly 100-150 individuals orchestrated a human blockade around the service entrance to the venue – preventing Mr. Ross and his entourage from entering the premises. A decision was made from Mr. Ross’ team the conditions were becoming threatening and posed a security risk,” said Shahida Mausi, president and CEO of Right Productions, Inc.
“We want to extent our deepest regrets to our patrons who attended Summer Jamz17 who should have been treated to an outstanding performance from Rick Ross. We have the upmost respect for our guests at Chene Park and they deserve better. This is the fifth Summer Jamz event we have hosted with our partner Radio One and Host 107.5 FM – and until this point with no incident. Acts of intimidation, bullying, threats or violence of any kind that compromises the security and enjoyment of our shows will not be tolerated at Chene Park.
I will be reviewing this matter with our collective team and sponsoring host to ensure the integrity and respect we hold for our patrons and artists is upheld for future acts performing at Chene Park Amphitheater,” added Mausi.

Rick Ross was run out of Detroit on Saturday, June 21, prior to a scheduled performance at Hot 107.5's Summer Jamz 17.
When the Miami rapper showed up at Chene Park he was met by 100 goons who denied him entrance. Ross failed to get in touch with Trick Trick, the unofficial "Mayor of Detroit," before he hit town to get the necessary clearance.

Jay Hicks, the Program Director of Hot 107.5 had to explain to the audience why Ross wouldn't be performing.

"I'ma be real with y'all, I'ma be real as fuck," Jay said. "We had Rick Ross right outside here tonight at about 11:00. When he was pulling up to come into Chene Park, he was met by 100 individuals outside. We have tried to pull every resource together and asked him to come back. He is in fear of his life. He's in fear of his life and that nigga is not performing here tonight. And he may never come back to Detroit."
It's well known within the industry that you need to check in with Trick Trick before performing in Detroit. Apparently Ross didn't make that call.
Other acts on the bill, Scarface, A$AP Ferg, B.o.B, Rico Love and more performed as scheduled.

Bas shares what it was like growing up in Jamaica, Queens after spending the first eight years of his life in Paris. The "Lit" rapper said that 50 Cent's presence was known around the neighborhood before "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" came out, but says the debut album "swept" the borough. Bas also speaks about going to a mixtape spot on 164th and getting exclusive G-Unit albums, which was a big deal before the Internet came into play.
Speaking about his own rap career, Bas says that it all started on his 23rd birthday. He explains that he had DJ'd his own birthday party, and when he got back to his apartment he and his friend recorded over Kanye's "Breathe In, Breathe Out." After playing it for friends, Bas said he "caught a bug" and made about 14 records that started off his career.
