Jared Fogle's home near Indianapolis was raided Tuesday morning, July 7, during a child porn investigation.
Fogle rose to fame when he lost 235 pounds by walking and eating low calorie Subway meals. The company soon hired him as a spokesman.
The Indianapolis Star reports that FBI spokeswoman Wendy Osborne confirmed that the agency was conducting a criminal investigation in the area, but she would not comment on the nature of the probe.
TMZ reports that it was part of a child pornography investigation.
The investigation comes just 2 months after, Russel Taylor, the former director of Fogle's foundation was arrested in Indianapolis on federal child pornography charges.
He faces seven counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
Taylor later attempted suicide while being held in Marion County Jail and was placed on life support, May 6th.
It's not clear if today's raid at Fogle's home is connected to Taylor. Osbourne referred questions to officials from the U.S. Attorney's Office. They declined comment.

Florida State has dismissed 19-year old freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson from the team after video surfaced Money, July 6, of him punching a woman in the face at a Tallahassee club on June 24.
Johnson claims he was provoked when the woman told him to, "get off me you fucking nigger," after he accidentally bumped into her while making his way to the bar, according to TMZ.
The video shows Johnson and the unidentified woman exchanging words. She then punches him in the face before he swings back.
Johnson's lawyer, Jose Baez, told NBC News that the victim was the aggressor, but his client admits to making a mistake.
Baez says the woman shouted "racial epithets" at Johnson. The player "tried to deescalate the situation" but the woman "kneed him in the groin area" and "took another swing before he retaliated."
"It wasn't until she struck him twice that he reacted," Baez added. "But he is very...He is very regretful that he didn't turn around and walk away immediately. He makes no excuses for what happened. All he wants to do is learn from this experience and move on and get an education. We certainly don't want him to pay for the rest of his life for an incident that occurred in a bar."
Johnson was charged with misdemeanor battery. He is now volunteering at a shelter for battered women.
The victim suffered bruising under her left eye, swelling to the left cheek and a small cut near the bridge of her nose in the incident.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Bill Cosby admitted in 2005 that he got quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with, and that he gave the sedative to at least one woman and "other people," according to documents obtained Monday by The Associated Press.
That woman and a second woman testified in the same case that they knowingly took quaaludes from him, according to the unsealed documents.
The AP had gone to court to compel the release of the documents from the deposition in a sexual abuse lawsuit filed by former Temple University employee Andrea Constand — the first of a cascade of sexual abuse lawsuits against him. Cosby's lawyers had objected on the grounds that it would embarrass their client.
Cosby settled that lawsuit under confidential terms in 2006. His lawyers in the Philadelphia case did not immediately return phone calls Monday. Constand consented to be identified but did not want to comment, her lawyer said Monday.
Cosby, 77, has been accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct, including allegations by many that he drugged and raped them in incidents dating back more than four decades. Cosby has never been criminally charged, and most of the accusations are barred by statutes of limitations.
Cosby, giving sworn testimony in the lawsuit accusing him of sexual assaulting Constand at his home in Pennsylvania in 2005, said he got seven quaalude prescriptions in the 1970s. The lawyer for Constand asked if he had kept the sedatives through the 1990s — after they were banned — but was frustrated by objections from Cosby's lawyer.
"When you got the quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?" lawyer Dolores M. Troiani asked.
"Yes," Cosby answered on Sept. 29, 2005.
"Did you ever give any of these young women the quaaludes without their knowledge?"
Cosby's lawyer again objected, leading Troiani to petition the federal judge to force Cosby to cooperate.
Cosby later said he gave Constand three half-pills of Benadryl, although Troiani in the documents voices doubt that was the drug involved. The two other women who testified on Constand's behalf said they had knowingly been given quaaludes.
Three of the women accusing Cosby of sexually assaulting them have a defamation lawsuit pending against him in Massachusetts. They allege that he defamed them when his agents said their accusations were untrue. Cosby is trying to get their case thrown out before discovery.
Cosby had fought the AP's efforts to unseal the testimony, with his lawyer arguing the deposition could reveal details of Cosby's marriage, sex life and prescription drug use.
"It would be terribly embarrassing for this material to come out," lawyer George M. Gowen III argued in June. He said the public should not have access to what Cosby was forced to say as he answered questions under oath from the accuser's lawyer nearly a decade ago.
"Frankly ... it would embarrass him, (and) it would also prejudice him in eyes of the jury pool in Massachusetts," Gowen said.
U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno asked last month why Cosby was fighting the release of his sworn testimony, given that the accusations in the Temple woman's lawsuit were already in the public eye.
"Why would he be embarrassed by his own version of the facts?" Robreno said.
Cosby resigned in December from the board of trustees at Temple, where he was the popular face of the Philadelphia school in advertisements, fundraising campaigns and commencement speeches.

Kidd Kidd is a free man after posting $105,000 bond Monday, July 6th. The 26-year old G-Unit rapper had been locked up in New York's Rikers Island since his arrest right before his performance at the 2015 XXL Freshman concert on June 30th.
He was taken into custody for allegedly assaulting and strangling his girlfriend, Maurita Robinson, during a February 2015, domestic dispute in Las Vegas..
The New Orleans native posted $5,000 bond for his New York case in criminal court, according to XXL. He later posted $100,000 after appearing in Supreme Court. Judge Larry Stephen ordered the rapper, real name Curtis Stewart, to turn himself into N.O. police by Thursday, July 9th.
The "Better Walk" rapper appeared to be in good spirits as he enjoyed a good meal during a video shot at the G-Unit office right after his release.
His attorney, Scott Leemon, released a statement following his client regaining his freedom.
“We are very happy that Judge Stephen did the right thing and allowed Kidd Kidd to turn himself in to New Orleans. These allegations are insane and our investigation will continue."
Leemon said last week that Robinson had little to no credibility. He added that the allegations that “are totally baseless. They were made four months later by a woman who has a history of making false allegations against Mr. Stewart.”
G-Unit also released a statement: "50 Cent and G-Unit fully support Kidd Kidd in this matter.”

Though some of your favorite rappers have repeatedly mentioned Redman as their top emcee, the Brick City spitter remains humble as he is genuinely proud of their ongoing success in the rap game. "It just shows me that I did my job," he expressed.
Artists such as Ludacris and Eminem call Redman a favorite, and Em even went as far as to mention him on his "'Till I Collapse" track back in 2002. Redman stated that he undoubtedly feels the same way towards the Detroit legend. "I rank him up there with Jay Z, Biggie and Nas," he began. "So for me and him to feel the same way it's just a level of respect that we both did our thing in the game and we take this hip-hop culture serious."
Redman understands that hip-hop has taken a sharp turn from where it used to be back in the day, so for hip-hop fans who "are reaching out to find that little, special something," he promises to keep the essence alive. "My secret is going against the grain," he reveals when asked how he has remained relevant. "I don't know it all. I know how my era run but we['re] in a new world now. And you gotta learn to switch with the times."
The legendary act also speaks to the artists in this day and age whose careers don't seem to be taking off without naming names. "For those people that work hard and really don't get anywhere, they need to change direction," Redman advises. "They need to change their circle and they need to change their people." 19-year-old Lil Herb has been around since the Chiraq movement has begun. And though acts like Chief Keef and Lil Bibby have been given a nod by XXL Magazine, young G Herbo - who created his own "XXL" track - is one of the rappers who has made a name for themselves but has never made the cut for the XXL Freshman Class. "I don't know why I'm not on the cover to be honest with you," he tells us in this VladTV exclusive. "I ain't really gonna get into detail 'cause I could say some shit," he adds as he looks into the camera.
Though he hasn't made it two years in a row, he does cite fellow artists who he feels "genuinely deserved" a spot on the cover. After naming Dej Loaf, Shy Glizzy and Fetty Wap, he makes sure to show love to his "big sis," upcoming Chicago emcee Tink for putting on for their city. "Go look on Tink page, boy, she ain't fucking around," he states matter-of-factly. The Chi town native also delves into his idea for a Chicago tour featuring all of the prominent artists from the area right now. "I support my city. Period."

Atlanta police are investigating an early Monday morning, July 6, shooting that left several luxury cars riddled with bullets.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that the shooting happened at Twelve Studios, which houses rapper Rick Ross' UDigg Studios.
A Mercedes CL63 that retails for over $150,000, a late-model Corvette and an Infiniti G35 were riddled with bullets.
According to the incident report, two women told police they were inside one of the music studios when they “heard (a) loud noise that sounded like fireworks but were actually gunshots.”
One of the women told police she went to check on her vehicle when she saw shattered glass on the floor in the studio.
Officers found eight .40-caliber shell casings in the street in front of the studio. Three cars were damaged by the gunfire, which also shattered a glass window of the building, according to police. No injuries were reported.
Authorities don't think Ross, real name William Roberts, was involved in the incident. However this is the third time within a month that the rapper's name has been linked to an incident involving the police.
On June 10th he was busted for marijuana possession in Fayette County, Georgia. On June 24th, Ross and his bodyguard, Nadrian James, were arrested and charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.
The rapper allegedly pistol whipped a groundskeeper at his Fayette County residence, chipping two of his teeth and injuring his jaw. The worker was reportedly not allowed to leave.
Ross was released from jail on July 1st, after posting $2 million bail, which included $1 million equity from the ex-Evander Holyfield mansion he owns, another Georgia property, $500,000 surety bond (from a bail bondsman) and $500k in cash.
